I believe I read somewhere that the races abilities and stats are all the same as they have always been. I can't find the reference tho.

First, what edition of Skyrim did you pre order, or how much did it cost? That should tell you what you got.
Second, I don't think there are any special extras you get for pre ordering through third parties beside the standard edition and Collectors Edition differences. Correct me if I am wrong!

Next TES novel! I really hope it give some to further explain Skyrim's setting. Just a thought.

In the Marines we shoot after being shot at. Now war is a little different, but the principles can be universal. Instead of how the Police shoot and ask questions later, I myself would attempt to incapacitate the individual before using lethal methods. That applies to others to, if my girlfriend and I was threatened with a knife, gun, or such I would do the same in that situation if it allowed.
Self defense is the one of the few things we have left in this country, in my view. The right to own a gun is profitable for situations like this. Never think twice about possibly using it.
In essence I am saying incapacitate first if able, then lethal means if no other way is available.

I have been reading this for a while but haven't got around to posting. I LOVE IT! It is really an excellent story you got going. I new idea and storyline in a way. Keep going!

I sit on a stump and wait to meet

I have followed Rage for a long time now, and I have recently found out that it will have mod capabilities.
I just want to know if the Nexus will have a Rage section?
We are mainly a TES and Fallout site, but we have Dragon Age and Witcher now and a couple of other good games - not including the general pc and other systems talk too. It is not big concern of mine I was just wondering.

This is not a bad picture. I would think the daggers are ebony tho - thinking on how the Morrowind and oblivion daedric items where always red and blackish. I would suspect a new ebony color or even the orcish weapons from MW. The armor is definitely the dark brotherhood armor.
The moon and stars reminds me of the awesome night skies of Morrowind too. I also hope we can have the back hand style of holding daggers at least, just as this elf is doing.
Anyone else pre-order the Collector's edition?

I think it is the graphics card itself. It is considered a second class graphics card. http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-6650M.43962.0.html This is what I think is the problem.
Also consider the possibility of de-fragging the game or hard drive and update your card too.

I like both! Battlefield and squad based gameplay, and MW with the story and being generally easier to play. I plan on getting both, tho I will say MW will not be played much since it gets released 3 days before Skyrim!
I'm pretty sure the majority of people who play MW don't play the Elder Scrolls games...I don't think they're too worried about sales. In fact, I'm more worried about Skyrim's sales.
Actually I meant I would not be playing it for that long because of the Skyrim release. MW come out on 11.8.11 while Skyrim 11.11.11 so that means I will play MW for two and a half days if that!

Mammoths and saber tooth lions are confirmed, with big spiders. Those are the only ones that we know are new! Some cliff racers would be awesome too right, dragon cousins.

Oh speaking of religion (watch me turn the convo around) how is the religion going to be handled in Skyrim? I'm not too knowledgeable about the beliefs of the people in Skyrim having only played Oblivion. There is certainly going to be Daedra right? But no entrance into Oblivion due to the ending of the Oblivion crisis earlier?
I would think that there would be at least shrines to the daedra as in Oblivion. Maybe even a Morrowind style shrine. But I would expect some new superstition of some sort, or a new practice of worship. Maybe even a Tribunal type quest line!
