  1. I don't like that idea. Too much complicated also, you should be always caring about the moon phases and be sure you do some quest on that three days during night to not waste that power. A transformation you could use once a day, or once each two days or whatever would be better. The particular vision from a particular author about a certain folkloric creature is not "realism". It also depends how long Bethesda is going to have the moon phases. We know that it's not going to actually be 30days in game until we can next turn into a werewolf. My guess is they would either have a full moon every 7 days (then if we do the before, during and after trans that leaves 4 days of not using powers) or they will have it were you can turn into a werewolf once a day or something. Honestly I always though of transforming every night, full moon or not. Though this could be an idea: Turn into a Werewolf every night, but on the night of the full moon your powers are significantly increased. It really wouldn't make sense to be able to transform once a day b/c that means day or night and a werewolf during the day..that's just silly ;)
  2. I don't plan on marrying a "broom" lol  Those achievements are pretty good, I hope Bethesda revises PC ones or they add more :( but it's probably too late....but they can do anything.
  3. I really like this idea, that is my hope as well, though turning into a bat I hope it's a bit more fearsome
  4. I never thought achievements were worth anything, but I think the only game I ever actually tried to get them was Dragon Age Origins. I suppose I tried DA2 as well as Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, but it was always for fun. Achievements are designed to challenge yourself towards a goal (fun as well), but here in the Skyrim ones there's no effort because whether you want to or not you end up getting the achievements b/c they are like you said part of a quest (that you probably have to do anyways) and getting XXX amount of gold..... So.........to lighten things up 37 days?
  5. If anyone want's to know if your PC can run Skyrim just go here http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ I'm sure someone has posted this somewhere, but just in case. Well actually Skyrim isn't up there yet so what you can do is see how well you can run another game (close to what Skyrim may be) and that should be a good guideline.
  6. First status update, WOOT!

:3 aren't you gonna put up ANOTHER status update, mate?
  7. You would have to limit the spell mixing. Fable 3 did a pretty good job, but they only had so many spells you could do.....in the Elder Scrolls, by the Nine you would have hundreds of combos! However I thought at first that's was Bethesda was doing, I was sort of disappointed to see that you can just cast the two and they would not mix for a special effect. Oh well....38 more days though
  8. I'm not well-versed in history, but did we even have schools back during those ages? It seemed to me that one would join a guild, or learn the trade from their parents... Then again I have no clue what I'm talking about, so... I'm pretty well versed in history and I believe there weren't any Dragons either XD lol I kid, but people were more likely to learn the trade from a Master Apprentice. For a higher education your parents (if rich) would hire private tutors. It would be cool to walk into a castle and see so and so's kids not paying attention to his tutor haha. I wouldn't be paying attention anyways especially for calc :(
  9. LOL same here, I notice every time something has to do with the date 11.11.11. And that was actually my grandmother's birthday November 11, 1911. Coincidence? But yea I was thinking to myself, 'If the world ends please let it not be before Skyrim comes out and please let me at least enjoy it for awhile before the world explodes, or zombies attack, or giant squids take over.' :psyduck:
  10. As long as our characters don't feel empty and like mindless zombies they can do whatever they want. It's good to have a variety of companions, I just hope they put enough detail to where the characters like I said don't feel empty. I guess though we'll see in 39 days  I just can't wait!
  11. I have a gadget on my desktop counting down and it seems to be counting very slowly. I can't wait, October is my favorite month and I have a lot going on this month but not matter what it seems that November will never get here! Ugh! I'm so impatient I can't wait. It's a shame that Bethesda didn't release some sort of demo for Skyrim :(
  12. NPCs are companions if you befriend them .. Todd explained how they are going for less detailed companions but more of them .. so if your friend someone you can drag them along on quests. So basically anyone can be your companion? The less detailed companions part kind of scares me seeing as your companions in Oblivion did nothing but follow you around. Truthfully though I'll be busy doing other things that it's probably not as bad as it sounds...I hope. I guess in this case it's quantity over quality :/
  13. I'm glad to see that Argonians look more BA now. I may actually have to try them out  There's the dragon that people want to play as XD all they need are wings
  14. So you can marry NPCs.....just wondering if you can marry companions? Nothing has been said about that at least not that I know of. I would think not, but then again Elder Scrolls is do what you like when you like.
  15. Most likely he will be the narrator or something. I'm not saying there's no possibility of him coming back to life, but I think the only person who's going to make an appearance in Skyrim from Oblivion is that Nord fighter from the Yellow Team that you beat up and probably sent her pieces in a box back to Skyrim.....that seems more likely. Of course she'll be dead...unless Necromancy is involved o_O
  16. Pfshhh I am a dragon  That would be awesome to turn into a dragon, for me though I would rather ride one XD
  17. Even though there's a timer just thought i'd convert everything hopefully in shorter terms. 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days or 5 weeks and 6 days or 40 days Personally weeks seems shorter, but take your pick as of Oct 1st.
  18. Tomorrow is the start...of October....tomorrow our battle begins. So fill your cups ladies and gents we will go into battle prepared and strong and come out victorious! HAZAAAAH!
  19. I love going straight into battle head on with the occasional planning/sneak attack. But I'll most likely have dual weaponry (blades), use some magic (mainly heal some destruction and the only illusion which catches my eye is turning invisible), and I think i'll try out using a bow but that won't be my main weapon. I've never been into alchemy in any game but it seems that Bethesda has drawn me into trying it out and some how I feel like i'm going to enjoy it. Armor....not sure most of my characters what they end up using is light armor, but w/e makes me look sexier ;)
  20. Sorry about this stupid Q but what does OP stand for? :psyduck: Opening Post??? I dunno.
  21. It makes sense, but you have 300+hrs of gameplay, I would personally want to be a warrior and if I chose to experiment with another class I can do so without starting a new character and then realizing after sometime that I didn't like it. It's easy and I guess some would say a cheat to be and do everything, but hey if you think about it a mage can also be a warrior, who said that they are only limited to magic? Magic may be their strong suit but they don't have to be limited by that. So if you think about the restrictions would completely make Skyrim fail what it's suppose to be. An Epic RPG where you can do and be what you want when you want. If you only restricted yourself to one class for EX there probably wouldn't be 300+hrs of gameplay.
  22. I just have a Logitech gamepad. Less expensive than an 360 controller for PC and imo it's better. I have to say I'm very happy with it, love it  http://76.my/Malaysia/logitech-gamepad-f310-replace-dual-action-gamepad-1012-01-cwchoo85@1.jpg However I have a feeling i'll be playing Skyrim with Keyboard/Mouse.
  23. I took a look at it this morning.......October is going to be hell :wallbash:
