  1. Well started playing Oblivion again, Dragon Age 2, annnnnd I have to finish AC: B before the new one comes out :) Oh and started to try out League of Legends....I just have a lot of games I need to finish :/ but now I have hardly anytime. Darn it all!
  2. You know I would like a pet crab :/
  3. I'm actually looking forward to some bloody mess here in Skyrim, I mean they could make it more realistic than FO3 and that, but i'm sure that won't be a prob. It's always fun to chop some limbs and de cappitate some people :whistling:
  4. I LOVE DOGS!!!!!!!!! "Dogs embody loyalty they follow their masters commands above all else! Be a jerk to them and they don't complain and they never once beg for a paycheck! Trust me they're the great servants of man! Loyal canine how we salute Thee!" http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s188/mangafreak_photo/Roy-Dog-Neon.gif Needless to say give me a horse or dog or some sort of animal companions and I'll be happy ;)
  5. Ah hell, if they really can gang up on you, were f***ed. I seem to recall Todd or Pete saying they'd have no more than two dragons at once; they tested out 3, and it was way too hard, apparently. So 3 dragons = way too hard and then 2 = too hard....nice haha....oh wait :/
  6. I think you should be able to block no matter what you have equipped (except dual spells of course). Having dual weapons would be more difficult to block with, but hey people do it! And a staff......same. So yea I hope someone comes out with a mod to block, but I have no clue why they just didn't have blocking in the first place for dual weapons and such. However it's too early to say if someone will actually do it. Great idea, but wait until the game comes out first
  7. I usually do things out of order. Mainly I do some of the main quest and then just go off and join some guilds, kill some people, turn into w/e options we have (hopefully werewolf) get married, and all that wood chopping and cooking i'd do during everything else. Of course I think in Skyrim a normal life would be too simple, I'd always be off exploring and adventuring, it's good to be able to come home and relax, but a normal life? Nahhh I mean you have dragons chasing you........
  8. I still see Vampires as the old Dracula type, even though I saw Twilight and even though people love it now the Twilight Vampires will never truly be Vampires. They will never take their place in the vampire lore, I mean Twilight Vampires give other vamps sun damage...they are too shiny. I'm waiting for the day they make werewolves sparkle and glisten in the moonlight :O Has anyone thought of how turning into a Gargoyle would be? I know they turn into stone during the day, but they are nightly creatures and it's easy to stumble upon an amulet *cough* or just change the whole daylight =stone thing. You would be able to fly and just look BA. http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc322/SiderealWraith0w0/the-Gargoyle.jpg Sorry couldn't find a smaller pic. Oh but anyways.......In Oblivion when you fed off of people that was it....technically if you get bit by a Vampire you are suppose to turn into one. Maybe you can recruit your own vampire army! That would be pretty cool lol turn others into vampires and they shall be your loyal allies. Same with a werewolf if you let them live, but I think being a werewolf you would just have less control in general.
  9. Good question about the transofrmation...maybe after some time of being a werewolf you would be able to force the transformation on/off but only limited times per day / per week so it wouldnt be too OP(lets say 2 times per day / week) and during full moons you would just transform naturally.... that way it would be also a nice tactical choice if you find yourself cornered. I like that, being able to force transformation but I like the idea of 2x/day b/c personally 2x/week is too long lol Then for being a Vampire I guess it would just be after sometime you don't have to feed as often and it would be awesome to turn into a bat XD like one from Van Hellsing not an actual plain old bat.
  10. I wholly agree with lv000. The PC has too many great aspects to even think of switching. I love my PC and it's not b/c of mod support (though mods are awesome), but games play and run smoother and look godly on PC which is why if a game is multiplatform and one of them is PC......guess what I'm getting ;)
  11. So being a Vampire or Werewolf...we're all basically suffering from a case of rabies with some mutagen added in there. @Squigg- I like your idea about werewolf (or vamp) control. I mean when you first turn into one you're not going to have control and be a master on the monster you've become, but instead of leveling up stats (which is something else now) it could be that the amount of time you spend as a werewolf increases your control. So let's say after X amount of times of transforming you become more in control or after each transformation. Or, maybe there will be quests for being a vamp or wolf? :O However, question........technically don't werewolves only appear during full moons? I mean how will that work. Will we be seeing monthly (in game) or nightly transformations. Of course they could and will probably just do to where every X amount of days is a full moon (EX every 5 days or something), but yea...since waiting 30 days is NOT an option lol... Anyways if we get our werewolf I hope that there are special final blows and attacks  Also how would our wolf appear? :/ Would it be based on our hair/eye color of our character or maybe they'll have just a set color. I hope it's not set, I've always wanted to be a white wolf which then I hope we can just customize our appearance of our wolf (since I never have white hair). Now I'm hoping that that they DO have lycanthropy.....I will be very sad if not. :(
  12. I want a pet crab.....They can rip tanks apart. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e187/armagecko/The_Incredible_Giant_Crab.jpg
  13. of course .. this is confirmed .. companions are based on friendship level Okay thanks! :) I was reading all of this and tried to look something up online about this, but all I got was this thread and another from January saying it would be cool to have companions. So thanks for clearing that up.
  14. Love it XD thanks dude. I guess dragons don't help a bro in need....
  15. Okay perhaps I missed something.....Is Bethesda making it to where we can have companions in Skyrim?
  16. HAHA! So do I XD the possibilities are endless and I've been drawing what I want my character (well, one of them) to be in Skyrim. I'm going for the sexy elf with the dark past look ;) I wish I could have tried Skyrim out for an hour, but I know I would have just wandered around and been in awe by the scenery. Most likely I wouldn't have made it to the first village :/
  17. Being a werewolf is so much more fun than being a vampire, you don't have as much downfalls such as sun damage. Being a wereboar is better because you are a fat pig. Literally. Lmao I never thought they were scarey looking. :psyduck: @x722ism- Well Werewolves are nightly creatures so you wouldn't have to worry about the sun anyways seeing as you only turn into one at night. @frakle- You have a point, it would be cool to be a wereboar lol But this is what i'm looking forward to ;) http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg117/Fancy_Storm_2008/werewolf/tom-wood-wolfman.jpg RAWR :D
  18. Well I really hope they do decide to put lycanthropy in there. I wouldn't mind being either one vamp or wolf, but it's so fun to be werewolf ;) I wonder if they'l let us know before Skyrim's release....Anticipation, my worst enemy.
  19. Indeed it does. Although school, for me, makes the day go by. Yup same here, but still the whole time during class I think about it haha. Not so great when you're about to burn magnesium and realize you're looking straight at it when it's too late.... :wallbash:
  20. Thank you Dave for giving us some insight on your experience with Skyrim! ;) Just reading what you wrote I am more impatient than ever, ugh darn it! 8 more weeks and I say weeks b/c it sounds shorter than saying 2 months :/
  21. Depends which game really. Something like Assassin's Creed is easier to play with a controller than keyboard but games where you have to point and shoot (like ME or Dead Space, RE) those are better with keyboard and mouse. I prefer it that way I've only really used my controller for 3 games I have (Fable 3, AC, and DMC4), but I stick to keyboard and mouse the majority.
  22. I would imagine that all carrying capacity is the same, but you just have to level it up. Maybe it's a skill, stamina, or maybe you have to buy 'backpacks' or something. I think it would be strange to have a set capacity for certain characters b/c then everyone would rather play as the person who can carry weight of 300 over 150 :/ I can't remember where it was but I read somewhere that stated (not 100%) stamina would be the factor in determining how much weight you carry among other things. If I find the link i'll post it.
  23. PC, I don't have any other of those systems and if something happened to my PC it would be cheaper for me to just replace it....but you know if it exploded then...that's another dilemma. I basically get everything on PC and now that I got a new video card I'm excited to see how great the graphics are going to be and how smoothly it runs
