So I fixed the crossbow animation problems but cant seem to figure out whats wrong with the vampire lord or the gargoyles. gargoyles just loop thier idle anims even when dead and as a vampire lord it does the same. cant attack, it tells me im in melee mode but still stands there floating. even when moving its just the idle animation! cant attack or cast spells either!

sounds like fnis causes more problems than it fixes

i have this problem too. fixed the problem of the crossbow by deleting the characters file and re-extracting it. i tried it with gargoyle and v lord but didnt work

i cant get it to work. and gargoyles are also screwed up in thier animation. i dont seem to have any of the *.hkx fils

Ive been having a problem with the preview and npc view windows. the preview windiw is nonexistant and it shows up as nothing but the outer frame squished way over to the left of the screen. ive tried extending it with the mouse but it doesnt work! it vibrates and streches like its going to but snaps right back to a squished window. The npc viewer has a similar problem but has just a small vertical slit to view the character through. ive tried redownloading from steam and everything, nothing works, it started a few days after i first downloaded it.

really? O.o maybe ive never been in the right place at the right time. it only happens between eola and illia on mine when theyre both in my party. i was thinking they knew eachother since theyre both mages, i figured theyd been in a coven together at some point and sacrificed dudes or somethin.

Ok so i was using the UFO follower mod and was forming a tricked out gang of female dragon slayers, when all of a sudden Eola spouts out "Well! fancy meeting you again!" Illia replies something and then eola says "well, if you find any big strong men, bring them to us!" to which both have a good laugh then illia says "..." and eola replies "oh come now... dont go away mad..." Has anyone else experienced this? its voiced and everything like it belongs in the game and isnt part of a mod. it happens at random and seems to imply that Eola and Illia have a history.

not really, because my access to internet is very limited. and all my friends who actually play skyrim are either in college or dont do modding. this site is about my only source of knowledge on things like this.

lol that's a funny idea having a knowledge test to get DLC for free, I can totally see Bethesda doing that out of the kindness of their hearts :P. But seriously it is a shame that it's not free, but you can't really be disappointed or sad about it. After all vanilla Skyrim is 5x the amount of game content games usually give you nowadays. So If they're going to spend their time and resources to make more content on top of an already jam packed game, you better be sure it ain't gonna be free. You said you had no way of billing it to an online source, which makes me assume you do have the money to get it, just don't have an appropriate method. Are there no gamestops or game stores around where you live that you can't go and pick it up? Also on a side note, I know of a couple good mods that require Dawnguard, but not a ton. Could you list the mods you are referring to when you say, "all the good mods"? how can i get it at gamestop? take my pc or xbox to them? its not out on disk as an expansion yet is it? well one goood example is the vampire lair featured on youtubes Skyrim Cribs videos. then the good Vampire/werewolf hybrids mod and all the cool re-meshing/texturing for the vampire lord. the vampire lord transformation and skill trees are what interest me the most. but a lot of mods that shouldnt even need dawngaurd too. cant name any off the bat but i think they were new outfit mods. the musket mod and gun mods are another example.

Man, i wish there was a way to get Dawnguard for free e.e all the good mods require dawnguard now. and i have no way of billing it to an online thing to get it from steam. and i damn sure aint gonna pirate it. i wish there was like a contest or something for it, like a prove your knowledge test or something.

it sucks! i finally get skyrim on my computer and find a real badass mod and it gets deleted... i may have downloaded it, im not sure. i was really tired, stayed up all night downloading.

really? every time i fight him he either says nothing or sounds like a normal nord. but as soon as i deliver a killing blow (especially a finisher) he screams like a hunger from oblivion!

i agree completely. im just waiting for the creation kit so i can have some real fun. but you know what i think wouldve made the entire game better? if odahviing wouldve been a mount instead of just a summon. it wouldve made the main quest much more worth it! i mean, you virtually get nothing at the end! couldnt even take alduins soul or search his body or anything! oh you get a shout that youll never use but big deal! you went to savongarde for cryin out loud! and you dont even get a blasted t-shirt!

thats what i meant when i said it affects texture, like how exnems mesh when applied to certain body meshes places the groin area goin down the leg and nipples on your side or something. i didnt think that" since the mesh is already present on the outfit that it wouldnt matter what body mesh your character had. because placing the outfit on your character would just replace the bodypart that the outfit covers with the part mesh that the clothing was modeled around.
