Yup, didn't crash for me in 6 hours of play! Only thing it did was one time it minimized my window so I had to alt-tab back in but that was probably something else running on my PC that triggered that. Thanks guys awesome work!

Heh, I was told I can use something called "disable/enable" in the console to bring her stats up to mine. I may end up doing this later, but for now I actually want to try playing the game completely solo and see how I manage on my own. Let's see what happens.... Oh and someone else made this comment on another forum....."set her suicidal ass to essential"....what does he mean by this?

Man this game I swear.... as a level 33 Regduard, I have placed most of my perks into heavy armor, two-handed, etc. but not ONE enchantment perk so far. Now I'm starting to discover how awesome enchanting is. My enchantment level is currently at around 25, and I am starting to find a bit more items that are enchanted. I would love to break them so I can apply the enchantment to other items, but when I do the strength of the enchantment is lower that it originally was. So it's not worth it. If had the right perks, and focused more on the enchanting skill, this wouldn't have been a problem. Do you guys think at level 33, I should focus more on enchanting? Or at this point is it better to simply continue to put more perks into armor and weapon related skills.

So yeah, I am convinced the new game patch gimped Lydia. She was able to hold her own in most battles before, but now she is getting her ass kicked BIG TIME! I am a level 33 Redguard and could hold my own in battle, and Lydia could be counted on to do the same and help wipe out the baddies. Now, from some oddball reason, she dies at the hand of enemies that should give us no problems. I mean she died from FALMER Guards for kreiss sakes!!! Ditto the random bandit encounter. Then I took her to cough**a certain Dragon fight**cough....yeah, BIG mistake that was! Not only did I have to re-fight it, but after it killed her her body was nowhere to be found so I couldn't even resurrect her via console! I was like WTF?? She is wearing all the default plate armor and is equipped with a fairly strong orcish sword...so I don't know what's up with her. So yeah, I think I'll be traveling solo from now on, because Lydia is pretty gimped now and I think the patch may have had something to do with it. Let her stay home and keep the bed warm for me :D

The problem I'm having with Soul Trap, is that recharging destroys the lesser soul gem, and you have to keep rebuying them. Is there a way to recharge a weapon without destroying the lesser soul gem? Also, why don't other kinds of soul gems work for soul trapping/recharging? It never gives me the option to use filled petty gem, common gem, greater gem, etc.

Just had a random crash not even 20 minutes into the game and I don't even have that LAA mod or whatever its called. Can someone confirm that if we revert to the *OLDER* Skyrim.exe that it will run smoothly again? If so, where can we find the older Skyrim.exe file? Link?

very VERY good suggestions guys!!!! I hope LoneVandal is reading these awesome ideas. Basically a two perk per level is a NO BRAINER to start out, and then you can keep tweaking it from there.

I too, would like this mod.

My problem with Lydia is that she always gets left behind and can't keep up with me. Sometimes I have to advance time so she can catch up. The other thing is the game doesn't allow you to talk to Lydia and issue commands to her DURING combat. I would like to sometimes trade weapons/potions with her in a fight, but can't. Is there a mod for this?

Guys can one of you please answer this question.....will I be able to join both the Imperial Legion *AND* the Thieves Guild? Ditto for Stormcloaks *AND* Theives Guild should I choose to go that route?
