Gotta love it. :P I don't mind a new world to be honest. The only thing that was worth being built on the old map was Crabs farm and the few buildings dotted around it.

I'm fairly certain I've seen a redstone mod floating around and I'm fairly certain it has nodes too. Although I've never tried it out nor do I actively look for it. But I definitely recall seeing one on the forums.

A portcullis is pretty much impossible, best you can do is 2 blocks high. Unless you plan on making one using gravel/sand, that's possible. But very... ugly.

I love how mediafire has just signed it's own death warrant yesterday. I bet they're going to be seeing a lot less traffic and a big drop in profits from this day forward.... Sucks to be them. Does anyone know a free mass distribution site I could use to throw my texture packs on? Dropbox doesn't like a lot of people, mediafire just borked itself and I'm not the biggest fan of Rapidshare but I'm forced to use it for the moment. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Fallout10mm... Your farm is being wrecked by mobs. Since 1.1 farmland is no longer destroyed by walking on it... However jumping or falling on it destroys it. Mobs climb your melons and drop down... I think it's time to add light to it :P

Na map change is not needed. Jeb was incorrect when he said you needed a new world for 1.1 He was also incorrected when he said it about 1.2 too. I had jungle biomes in my main world thinking it would stick to 1.1 world generation... Then when I went back to 1.1 the most amazing thing is that the jungle biomes are STILL THERE. Only instead of Jungle Wood, it's normal wood. Same for leaves. Pretty epic if you ask me. Oh yes... If any of you are wondering... Personally I'd stick with a Hunting Rifle. It was always my favourite weapon of choice during my roleplays and even late in the game I still fell back onto it if I ever needed it.

I definitely see the reasoning behind all this. I myself find it annoying when I'm looking at new content and see myself looking at savegames or even videos. Especially when I know I'd never watch or use them unless I was specifically looking for them (Such as a save character that has completed the mainquest for example). I've always longed for a feature where I could simply 'untick' a category and never see it again. So when it shows latest files all categories are checked and one simply has to untick the categories they do not wish to see. That would be the best solution. Everyone will see everything by default and those who don't want to see certain categories won't see them should they choose not to. Not expecting the suggestion to ever happen, just figured I'd throw it into the air as it would benefit all in this topic. No one will complain about this further. Heck it will even preemptively silence those who complain about 'adult' mods. (And I've seen a LOT of those complaints in my time) >Turns back on lurk mode.
