  1. Good to hear that progress is going well. Unfortunately I don't even have the free time to play Skyrim, let alone test mods, but hopefully you get the testers you need! :D
  2. Aemer's Refuge is pretty awesome. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37450/? It's got displays for just about anything, easy access to the vanilla homes as well as a few key locations and fantastic aesthetics. It's a lot more grand than Jaggarsfeld, which is both a pro and a con, depending on your outlook.
  3. Voice is really good, and the character background seems promising as well! I really hope this project comes to fruition. I agree that adding different bodies/models is more effort than it's worth. As for the romance/marriage stuff, I'm sort of ambivalent on the matter but loads of people seem to love that kind of thing, so it might be a good idea. Maybe just make her marriable after her questline but only add a quest and stuff it people request it?
  4. I think the best way to make her unique would be to give her a personality/background that offers something different to the mods and vanilla companions already out there. What this could entail is entirely up to you. Good luck, I'm a huge fan of well written follower mods and I'd love to see another one!
  5. I don't have the skills to do this myself, but I wholeheartedly support this request. Miraak is awesome and he'd be an interesting companion for sure. Good luck! :)
  6. Can't wait for this, always been a massive fan of illusions and felt that Skyrim was somewhat lacking in that department. :D Good luck with it.
  7. A few suggestions: 1: Add a special location filled with Word Walls, perhaps a special giant atrium hidden on the Throat of the World. Walls could be guarded by Dragon Priests or simply require a certain amount of progress in the main quest to unlock (perhaps symbolizing Akatosh's growing approval of your actions) 2: Add some kind of Great Word Wall which activates a menu allowing you to purchase shouts with souls. 3: Let the Greybeards teach them to you. After all, they teach you Roh or Dah IIRC. Hope one of these helps. :)
  8. It looks like Necrolyte will take it, but I'd like to throw in a vote for Dominator, if only because earning spells by expanding your sphere of influence sounds really unique and awesome.
  9. Good luck. I don't have the time/skill to get involved in something this ambitious, but here are a few pieces of advice. 1 Don't become the High King. Too awkward and immersion breaking. Instead, have a young king as your candidate who you can choose to support or manipulate, so you can become a 'Shadow King' who controls Skyrim from behind the scenes if you so desire. 2: Focus on the questline first, then voice acting and then new items. A good script may attract voice actors, and an established questline is more interesting than new items IMO.
  10. Do you want a writer as in 'write a script' or a developer as in 'make the entire quest'? I may be able to help with the former but not for a couple of weeks.
  11. This sounds like it's going to be fantastic-can't wait! In my opinion the main thing most arena-style things in games lack is replayability. I would suggest maybe adding achievements to encourage players to redo the arena (cash rewards for beating normal achievements, maybe special items or something for beating super hard ones) Edit: How's the Everything Patch going? I've been holding off playing Skyrim again for age waiting for your Perk Overhaul. :) (I'm a fan :P)
  12. To expand on my former statement, I believe that perks with drawbacks should be chosen at the beginning of the game, as innate bonuses. I feel that that kind of thing is more immersive to have as a natural advantage/flaw-a little harder to roleplay suddenly gaining a random weakness than it is to roleplay being born weaker but more magically gifted than others.
  13. Big fan of all your mods, eagerly awaiting this! :) I majorly disagree with adding negative effects to perks-they aren't perks if they harm as much as they help. That sort of thing (trading perks for weaknesses in other areas) doesn't really make sense IMO. I guess that kind of thing's a matter of opinion.
  14. Massive shame that I haven't looked at this before: this looks absolutely superb! Just out of interest, will the game be balanced for a beginning player or a character jumping between Skyrim and Ethas? Also, would you compare the overall size of the mod to vanilla Skyrim? Thanks for working on the mod, I'm sure it's going to be as fantastic as it seems like it's going to be! :) Also, it's wonderful to see you guys are fans of the Bioware games-their storylines are usually some of the best there are, even if they do drop the ball on occasion.
  15. Sorry, ETA means Estimated Time of Arrival. :) Thanks for the update!
  16. In case you don't know, I've uploaded your mod request. :)
  17. That's what I think too, at least that's what I've done. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27998 Hope it works/that you like it!
  18. It's easy enough to do, I think (famous last words!) Hopefully I'll have it up and running in a day or two.
  19. Great to know the mod is still going well. :) Any ETA?
  20. It's a very cool sword. :) The large gap in the middle of the blade looks a bit awkward though-could you consider a version without it? Either way, the weapon looks great! :D
  21. Any updates on progress, Lambwolf? :)
  22. Wow, that looks absolutely perfect! Can't wait to see the finished project-are you planning on making his staff/daggers as well? :)
  23. Wryebash is pretty useful, but I find that it's not completely necessary. I'll try and steer you towards mods with compatibility patches. :)
