I'm so far apparently ok. I use PC Tools Firewall Plus and PC Tools Threatfire packaged together free although you can pay to upgrade to a more comprehensive program.. the free versions are quite good I find and auto update regularly. AVG is my Antivirus program and seems quite able to handle most issues.. tho some stuff it tags with a false positive,best to google it if it shows as malware and you are uncertain.

Pagafyr sorry I mis labeled you as Fan.. yesterday when I came on and saw your post and responded they were working on the site... and it was displaying your name as FAN.. which struck me as an odd name... but hey.. to each their own.. so I posted my response to FAN.

That actually sounds quite good.. as for a service choice.. I've been away from home for a few weeks and will be back FINALLY tomorrow.. P.S. it's really not fun moving boxes and stuff in 86-89 F weather with 90% humidity if it wasn't soo dirty and dusty where I was working.. I'd have worn a bathing suit. Anyways.. as for the service.. I'd be very willing to accept suggestions. I have a few already in mind.. but none of them are set in stone. Anything offered that seems worthwhile is worth a try.

OK.... some cute and embarrassing things so far....but I think mine takes the cake... seems tho this happens in various ways to almost every girl some time or other... I used to free dive when i was younger and one day I was helping find a sunken boat .. 4-5 guys were with me as support while I dived, I used drop weights to fast dive to about 60-70 feet down do a look around and see if I could spot any sign of the missing boat surface then move and repeat... well..... on my first dive I did fine... got to the bottom of the lake looked all around.. no sign and surfaced... I was concentrating on properly purging as I surfaced and never noticed my bikini top was a bit too loose... as I breached... I shot out completely to my waist minus my top... it was slowly rising towards me from about 10 feet down... and all the guys were watching intently as I surfaced... Topless..

The ability to see back through time as much as 2 weeks .Limited to location I'm in and takes effort and concentration. Drawbacks... I'd use it for crime solving... you can easily see the drawback... reliving a crime to solve it...

well under that situation.. just install a brand new clean hdd with WinXP or 7 or whatever O/S you like then programs as you want.... back up any files you want to keep on a flash drive if it's that small a list..

OK.. I'm gonna ad my Extra Centsory Ideas.. not a typo.. bad word play.. LOL. OK... I'm not your usual sort of girl.. back in high school I was even called "the Alien" in a kind of insulting way... cause people literally after listening to me and my science Prof thought I HAD to be an Alien... So bear with my words and be open minded... I might be right... or just weird.. *smiles* I've basically done research and projects on a wide range of topics including ghosts. In my research I've found odd places where such incredible amounts of killing occurred that the event literally became written much like a video tape and replays time after time as if the event is still happening.Yes... time and space are not as simple as we like to think... some ghosts are the result someone or something partially visible through the fabric of reality... as we perceive it.... as an example... A person living on Earth.. but one divergent from our own along the lines of time,where events happened MUCH differently... Humans there evolved from feline stock not simian.. technology and science took different routes.Technology there allows for limited travel via teleportation the technology works by dimensional phasing. Displacing a person from point A to point B by bypassing the natural laws of physics.. not breaking them... pushing you out of normal space and transiting you then yanking you back.. in phase transiting one inch would allow for relative distance of hundreds of miles.. so how do ghosts fit in here?? punching through the dimensional barrier close enough to another dimension.. at a place or time where the barrier is weakened you'll see a partially phased...ghostly image of that person.Some beings may in fact do this intentionally.. to learn and explore another dimension.. only partly in phase... for obvious reasons.. now this only explains one sort of ghosts... not all obviously... but I'll not get into that.. *grins* just think and wonder... maybe just beyond sight slightly out of phase.. someone is watching you.. and cataloging what you do for their latest issue of Other Worlds Weekly.

ghosting is when you replace a smaller master hdd with a new much larger one but don't want to have to reinstall everything from scratch. You can use a program such as Norton Ghost to completely transfer an entire hdd.. registry files.. installed software, your O/S all hidden and system files.. everything... just copying your drive will never work. Any good computer store will know what you want even if you don;t understand what it is.. just give them your old master and the new drive ask them to ghost the old drive to the new one.. then make sure they verify the drive integrity to assure a stable transfer ,if all files are stable... you are ready to go.. and the new drive is a complete duplicate of your old one...just a LOT bigger... there's a way to do it yourself now much easier.. a USB backup drive... they continously back up your hdd and if it ever fails you can replace it and then press a button on the backup drive and it restores everything to the new drive automatically.

if you want to keep your data off the old hdd and transfer it to your new drive.. and the old one was your master... what you need to do is ghost the drive .. unless you are familiar with this.. I'd suggest you bring both drives to your local shop and have them ghost it for you. I recently upgraded mine from 80 gigs to 500 gigs and had the old drive ghosted to my new drive .. cost me a grand total of $22.50 taxes in Canadian.now my 500 gig has everything installed and working as if it were the original 80 gig

Just sticking my 2 cents worth in on this.... my personal preference would be an ATI graphics card... comparably.. there's some Nvidia cards that are awesome. but Nvidia runs hotter by a bit than ATI and also is a power hog ATI cards use less power overall.. so a less expensive Power Supply. also just a tip.. regardless of you going Dual or Quad core... I'd suggest a board with SLI or Crossfire support. even if you never use it... having the ability to if you ever DO is worth the extra $$

I have found this odd glitch as well.. certain clothing mods I've found do this.. I had only one so far that did.. but it really was creepy when one of your followers suddenly turns his or her head upside down and walks on one leg with a rifle pointed at the sky yet still shooting at an enemy at eye level.. weird... reminds me of Ghost Freak from Ben 10

LOL.. Agreed,I know when I flashed my BIOS to do a processor update to use core2 processors.. until it said BIOS upgrade completed successfully.. and it rebooted without issues.. I sweated a whole pail of ice cold sweat. luckily mine was ok.. but I have seen the results of a bad flash... don't do it unless you have NO choice.. or are a crazy blonde... (yours Truly) Any external USB is always worth having even your mod files can be stored there.. I assume you don't download,install,delete.. kinda wasteful I find.. but saving them takes up space... an external USB HDD is perfect for that and frees up plenty of space.

a new HDD is always good.. but also as suggested.. an external USB drive for file storage rocks.. it also saves all your mod files so if you ever lose your native drive.. you still have the files backed up on the external drive. Suggestion is also clear your browser cache and check the temp folder. it may be overfilled with junk.

I'm hoping this is possible... for now I'm not even home and won't be till Monday so I can't set one up. However I was wondering what the intrest would be and if it's permitted.. to post an IRC address for Nexus members to connect to an IRC chat room on a selected server for the purposes of using as temporary chat.. maybe even permanent if it proves successful in place of the now offline Nexus chat bar. If this is completely disallowed I'll not mention it again.. if it's permitted I'd be willing to set one up and post the particulars. Thank you to everyone in advance who posts interested or not.

I hope I'm in the right section for this.. I recently inquired into the release date. for FONV and was told a tentative date was set for late Oct. In their opinion that meant a Christmas release date. pre orders were being taken at EB games.. where I got my info... it means we may have quite a wait still until it's on the shelf.

My fave chars would be Mai Hasegawa from Oni.. she kicked ass . it was a fun game. and of course.. Baldur's gate 1 and 2 I always loved Imoen.. she was such a wonderful and endearing person. And just because he was SOOOOOOO funny and cute in a stupid got hit in the head too many times. Barbarian way.. Minsc and Boo. especially Boo.. now THAT was one dangerous hamster.. :woot:

You are mistaking Internet Explorer for Windows Explorer. Windows uses a program called Explorer to open/explore all files and file sections in a hard drive.. however if it's crashing on install.. it likely won't matter... crashing Windows Explored is bad.. next thing below a critical error.. so I'd say a problem still exists..try finding out why it crashed.

butcer I'm not prudish or old fashioned.. or I'd likely object to even nudity.. which I said I do not... my stand is simple... Nexus is for art... fun and companionship.. a family in ways... nudity is normal and fine.. and tastefully done can be breathtakingly beautiful.The Nexus however is NOT a porn site... there's plenty of those out there... Nexus doesn't need to be one too. .. but nudity or even porno style mods.. fine I have no objection to them. it's displaying pornographic images here that's just soo unnecesary. Everyone has their own opinions and rights to them. right or wrong...

I know I might get a Booo or 20 for this... MMO money has only been a partial issue for me... I have trouble getting the basic stuff I need.. farm like heck to get it... but as for me looking fashionable and hot... I've always had the best in clothing... being a girl really does have benefits.. but no.. I've NEVER been a gold digger.. I accept if it's offered.. but I never begged or whined or played the gender card... I was just me.. and if someone liked me and wanted to help.. well... who am I to say no?? tho playing City of Heroes was different.... I was given 5 mil right off by a total stranger I never even saw again.. but I remembered that and gave away extra money to noobs having "been there done that" I know they would feel appreciated and more than some players greatly appreciated the help I always try to pay it forward...And yes... I flirt..

I've liked what I've seen so far. Yes....they might totally screw it up... or they may make the best MMO in years. sadly even a good MMO can die fast if the game mods let RMT's and gold miners invade and take over... then who cares about the Sith... Korean money traders have wrecked a number of games. Sadly it's a real business there...last big MMO I played.. 350 RMT's in a Korean guild literally killed the game . Bad Game Mods also can ruin a game.. one I played before was destroyed by bad Mods. some.. in what should have been a TOS violation ran their own accounts and hacked and cheated and banned anyone who annoyed them by pking them for cheating... Hopefully none of this happens to SWTOR otherwise it will be good for about 2-3 months then a lost and forgotten game.

I don't know if you could call it Hubris..a bit of ego.. or just lack of inventiveness... but I like to use a char with my own name .Just me being a dreamer I'd say... putting myself in the game... tho my very first ever char was named obviously... RedVex.... then became RedVexHK after joining a guild.in many games online and offline I've also used Koyasha... however my favorite name has always been my own name. I don't use it for hubris or ego tho.. I just like to play as myself... and yes Minsc and Boo sooooo rock... but I always loved Imoen.. she was always like me.. a smile and quick wit.. always trying to get everyone laughing and lighten the mood.. maybe she was too much so... but I liked her.. and she always gave me that sisterly feeling.. I always wanted to protect her and I was indignant if someone insulted her.. she was MY SISTER!! LOL>. ok... I'm silly...
