  1. Turns out it was uploaded w/o permission. From the mod author, chinagreenelvis: Realy sucks. We need this guy unbanned. It can be found here (his own site) and here (Workshop).
  2. Skyrim Unbound is a alt start mod that lets you choose where and how to start as well as choosing what your start spells are, or no start spells.
  3. Just wait for Chesko's Last Seed mod. After he updates Frostfall with his new Campfires mod, he's going to work on Last Seed, a needs mod of his own with the best of both iNeed and RND, to go along with Frostfall and Campfires.
  4. Man, she must really like Khajiit and children. You should continue looking at the mod pages for them and see if they have a "Compatibility" section to look at. Like I said, I'm seeing many mods that modify the Khajiit and Child races so I'm sure there's some conflict there (LOOT is not perfect) Finally, teach her about compatibility and load order, that not every mod downloaded will work with every other mod, lol. xD Glad to hear that it's not because of it's 'questionable' mods. That's all fine and understandable reasons.
  5. I've done both (never really used them anyway). There is a mod that locks the difficulty and many to disable fast travel, as well as other core features; I don't see why not one for Saving and Loading during combat as well. I know 'in combat' can be detected and I know 'Save' and 'Load' can get disabled. I just thought it would be interesting and it could inspire someone to keep fighting, even if they are about to die. It would also be cool if it could disable it while in the air/falling.
  6. I was wondering if there's a mod out there that disables the saving and loading feature while you are in combat. I want this because, for one, it could help prevent people from accidentally saving just before someone kills them and, two, I have a perma-death mod and I kinda hate how I can just load right after dying or just before to save my(or whoever's playing) character. "Why don't you just not load?" Because I'm the kind of guy that uses everything available when playing a game. I can't help it.
  7. Inspired by warcraft?.. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Orcish_Armor_%28Oblivion%29 Sorry, wrong wording. I meant that I didn't like that they took inspiration from Warcraft Orcs. The banner is straight off the Blackrock Clan of Warcraft http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090124183425/wowwiki/images/thumb/c/c5/Blackrock_banner_in_wc3.jpg/180px-Blackrock_banner_in_wc3.webp I just wish it looked heavier like in Morrowind http://images.uesp.net/9/9d/MW-item-Orcish_Armor_Male.jpg
  8. I only have one problem with the first mod, in that even in Skyrim Standards, the weapons are too thick. But they are 100x better than vanilla :) There's something off about the second mod. It might be the fact that it was inspired by Warcraft Orcs and not Orsimer and the fact that it just looks too much like Blades armour.
  9. Yeah. It would have to be ~34 models altogether (if you included all armour types) which would be 17 in-game items.
  10. You can have different models for different races, that's how the helms for beast races work. The same could be applied to tail armour.
  11. which is occupied by the tail Use another slot? There's a hands slot Which is occupied by the hands Gloves still exist, you just have to make sure in the model that the hand is still there. Same with tails, just make sure that the tail is still there with the armour. It'd take about 24some models (2 for each material and 1 for each beast race)
  12. With the way tails work, I was wondering if you could actually make tail armour for the beast races, one for each material type. There is a tail slot, I'm just assuming it works the same as the body, hands, feet and head. They'd have to be disabled for non-beast races, though. With WIC/Cloaks of Skyrim and Frostfall, it could be balanced for not having increased exposure and wetness protection since it takes up the same slot.
  13. I'm sure there are, but I think they modify the potions themselves so if you have a mod that affects them, it may not be compatible. Plus there's user crafted potions...
  14. Immersive First Person View Fully customizable. Just... well anything you can think of. First person w/body; first person w/o body; adjust camera height for different actions (to avoid clipping); adjust head bob; and many many more options! I've only gone third person when my body moves too fast for the camera to track and when trying to Immersive Beds sleep on a bed roll (the camera is the same so it's a little above where it should be on your head) But everything from crafting to kill moves, as well as Werewolf and Vampire Lord forms to riding a dragon [Dragonborn], will always be in first person... if you so choose.
  15. There's a better mod on the workshop (hope to see it on the Nexus) called "Skyrim Unbound". It lets you select exactly how you start off and can even have random dragon attack happen even with choosing to not be the dragonborn. For food/drink/sleep, I prefer Realistic Needs and Diseases as it is the most detailed and realistic needs mod and is compatible with Frostfall. Other mods I'd recommend is: Animations; makes your character play an animation for just about everything, like he was an npc (a normal person). Immersive Beds; makes your character get comfortable (or nude) when going to bed and plays animations for getting in and out of bed. Wet and Cold; to make the weather really get to you. Visual cold and wet effects. And if you plan on playing in first person Immersive First Person View; All animations, including the ones from the above mods and third-person animations, will play in first person with your actual body visible. Fully customizable, too.
  16. Well, does anyone know anything about how the horses move or how the animations in Skyrim work?
  17. It should be possible if an NPC has the animation. We've made the PC do just about every animation an NPC can do. Why not Horse back trot?
  18. Is there a mod out there that changes the backwards movement (or lack of) of horses? I remember in Oblivion, "S" would make the horse walk backwards instead of walk forwards and turn. Right now, if a horse is facing a cliff and is standing right on the edge, then it has to walk off. It can't take a step back at all. I want to be able to take back steps on a horse.
  19. Yeah, I was looking at that one and my Intro mod and thought "Could I make it a video?" and remembered the spinning logo. I guess if you could make a plane and give it an animated texture, then maybe?
  20. Does anyone know if it is at all possible to make a video play as the title screen/main menu? I've seen mods to change it, make a spinning logo and make it wallpaper. I know Oblivion had a video and you only had to replace the .bik, I was just wondering if it would be possible to make Skyrim play a video, too.
  21. http://i.imgur.com/rZ5818E.jpg There's a reason these mods are under "Never Remove". A Matter of Time - A good way to not lose track of irl time. Alternate Start - Forget the boring Skyrim intro, make your own story. Animations - Makes you animate for just about every action. Dead Body Collision Fix - Stand on the corpses of your fallen enemies! Dragon Soul Converter - Convert dragon souls into perk points or health/stamina/magika. Dynamic Time Scale - Set how fast/slow time flies and set autosave points. Earlier Health Warnings - Hear your heartbeat earlier. English Strings - Fixes some grammatical and spelling errors (More for UK English ie; armor -> armour) [idk where this mod went...] Exhausted - Red edges for low health, blurred corners for low stamina, distorted colours for low magika. Fight or Fly - NPCs will calculate their chance of victory and flee when needed. FNIS - Animation mod required for some other animation mods. Immersive FP - See your body in 'first person'. iHUD - Hide the HUD when it's not needed or customize it. Immersive NPCs in the Dark - NPCs react more immersively in the dark. Killable and Lootable Children - Kill those annoying brats. New Horse Body Mesh - More muscular looking horses. No Spinning Death - No falling 2,000 miles to spin on shattered legs. Open Empty Containers - Keeps empty containers in the open position. Personalized Music - Put your own music into Skyrim! Physics Impact Damage Fix - No more stepping on bones that fly up and knock you out. Race Menu - More customizable character creation. Realistic Ragdolls and Force - No more flying 50 feet with a dagger kill. Skyrim Spell Cleaner - Delete those unwanted spells. Sky UI - More Mouse/Keyboard friendly UI, plus the Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) Stamina Rush - [This mod is no longer available on the Nexus :(] Unofficial Patches - Fix bugs that Beth didn't fix. Wet and Cold - More interactive environment. XP32 Maximum Skeleton - The best skeleton for most animation mods.
  22. I'm sure there's a way to get animation mods to work on NPCs if they replace animations. About IFP. It can be buggy, mostly because of clipping but if you work with it's MCM enough, you lessen the clipping and make it smoother than before. It's a HUGE improvement over vanilla FP and worth it for any FP-Player.
  23. Well, I only have one thing to say: "Who do people have 100+ mods when mine can only get 70-80 and be on the edge?"
  24. This could require editing core quests which would be dangerous for compatibility. It would be really nice, I'm behind this since I don't have quests mods.
  25. Yeah, you wouldn't be allowed to use resources from Fallout just as we can't use Oblivion resources in Skyrim Mods. You'd have to make your own resources or those by other Nexus members with permission.
