  1. This is really, really frustrating. I KNOW the Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina mod was put back up on here again a couple months ago after being blocked for a really long time, and now the owner has taken it down yet again.

Does anyone know where I can download it?

  2. Does anyone else kind of wish the little Mister Burke romance had been taken a bit further, been more developed than just a few letters? I mean, I really like him... he has Lucien Lachance's voice.

    Lucien. Lachance. *melts* http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/laugh.gif

  3. I'm sorry, i kind of made this thread on a whim, when I was upset, I wasn't really thinking very well. I didn't mean to offend anyone, I don't know I just found it upsetting. I'm sorry.

But no my reasons for joining the military aren't just because I want to be some bigshot, it really is something I've been genuinely interested in doing for some time because I feel it might be enjoyable and fulfilling path... xx

please dont be so mean, im sorry...

  4. Oh wait, you know which one I completely forgot about? Summitmist Manor, in Skingrad! It's an absolutely beautiful house, and so cozy and comfortable too. After you complete the Dark Brotherhood quest associated with it, it essentially becomes yours. I adore that place. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/laugh.gif
  5. That is absolutely not true, how would playing with a male player character make a male gamer"gay"? I personally like to mix things up and play with characters of both sexes, because I want to explore different ways of role playing. If you prefer playing with characters of one sex as opposed to the other, all that means is, that's just how you like to play your game. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif
  6. But then how come our mage chars can't do the same? http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif

But then don't forget there is also Mardy getting pregnant if a male char sleeps with her in the Dwarf Noble origin... http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif

  7. I've always really REALLY liked the Abandoned House in Cheydinhal. Well, after sprucing it up a lot and adding non-respawning containers, of course. But now it's perfect for my wandering assassins. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/happy.gif

I also like sleeping in that little cellar below the Abadoned House in the Waterfront, it's so cozy and perfect. Beinrus Manor in Anvil and Deepscorn Hollow are also really great too. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif

  8. What is the deal with aliens in films, video games, tv shows, etc being so ridiculously human like, biologically and culturally? I've always imagined that if there are aliens out there... it's just about 100% certain they won't look very much like us. I mean, just look at the diversity of life here on our own Earth. It's hard to imagine what aliens would look like, because, for all we know, they could look like... well, anything. They'd probably look, well, alien.

Not that I'm saying things like interspecies romance wouldn't be possible, that certainly isn't true. But it's most probable that their physical appearance is something that us humans would not view as "attractive", and they'd probably feel the same about us. We probably wouldn't be able to produce viable offspring together, either, even if they were placental mammals like us. And that is assuming their biology is even compatible with ours, which again there's a large chance it wouldn't be.

Aaaand I find it very unconvincing that an alien race's culture and society, beliefs, morals, ideas, etc would be so ridiculously similar to ours... http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif

Any... thoughts? I just wanted to post about it cause it's such an intriguing subject.

  9. The universe is massive. As in, so much that we simply cannot get our squishy little minds wrapped around just how big it is. There has to be some other life out there... someplace.

I'd really love to meet someone from another planet. That would so... wonderful.

I am reluctant to believe all these hundreds of stories about people supposedly encountering aliens. But I do believe there must be some out there somewhere.

  10. Men's behaviour is no reason to blame them women and put THEM out of infantry.

and believe me guys pretty much all HATE me so, I think them taking bullets for me won't be an issue.

  11. Would you believe it was actually my mom who got me into gaming? I was about five or six when she bought me my first Super Nintendo. I didn't ask for one; she got it for my cause she thought it was good for my hand eye coordination. But I absolutely fell in love with it, heck I still play my old games like Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, even though I've beat them dozens of times over since I was a kid. Ah yes, now those were the days... http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/happy.gif

True, it can be hard to find good games these days, just because there are a lot more of them out there than there used to be because the video gaming industry has grown so much, and unfortunately Sturgeon's Law is in effect. but there are still good ones out there if you know what to look for. That's why I always try to read reviews about a game before I get it. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif

  12. I still do not understand why Morrigan betrayed the male warden even though she claims to care for him, says she doesn't ever want to see him again and he can never EVER see their kid and runs off with their demon babe... it just doesn't make sense. My poor mage warden was driven into a suicidal depression after that. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif
  13. I'm 100% positive the old texture is gone and that the new one is in the right spot. As I said it's showing correctly in NifSkope and in the CS, just not ingame.

It's the DB armor btw. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/sad.gif

  14. I previously had a custom texture replacement for an armor, but I just replaced it with a new one.

The new texture is displaying in NifSkope and the CS, but ingame, it is still showing the old texture and I can't figure out why. I even tried deleting the old texture completely off my computer, but it's still showing it ingame even though it doesn't exist anymore...
