    Invisible torsos

    For some reason I'm seeing female characters everywhere with inivisible upper bodies, like there's an error with the upper body clothing/armor mesh or something. I think it started when I installed Robert's Female body replacer but I have no idea why, I know I installed all the needed mesh replacers for vanilla, OOO and Arma.

     

    Can anyone remember what mod adds female IC guards? They're the ones I'm seeing the invisible meshes on the most. I also saw this problem with Tar-Meena, although I have no idea why, I was sure that she wears the same robes as all the other mages and all of the other female mages robes still work fine from what I've seen.

    What armor/clothing mods use Roberts Female?

     

    Almost every single one of them out there uses the HGEC normal bodies which sucks, I really didn't care for those, honesty I thought the shoulders made every female character in my game look like an anorexic. :(

    Thank you so much for your advice. *sigh* Time to get to work reducing all of my junk I suppose. That's unfortunate that we can't get around the limit, but maybe it's better that way because hundreds of ESPs would really cripple the game.

     

    I do hope someone makes a combined ESP for the Unique Landscapes mod, that's what's taking up a big chunk of my limit. :(

    Please, please, PLEASE tell me there is some way to bypass that ludicrous 255 plugin limit that causes the game to not start if you're over the limit.

     

    There's a bunch of weapon mods I want and I'm so upset about this it's unreal.

     

    I searched everywhere but found nothing. Please tell me there is a way to get rid of this limit. :(

    I rarely visit here. What exactly do you people mean with a "rip"?

     

     

    A "rip" is some content that was taken ("ripped") from another game and converted to Oblivion. Such content is technically illegal to distribute so they're not allowed to be linked here unfortunately.

    Does anyone know of any good combat mods that enable dual weapon wielding? (like so your character can wield a second weapon in their off-hand instead of just a shield)

     

    I think Unnecessary Violence was supposed to do this but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out. I didn't like that mod anyway, way too many bugs, very outdated, and the creator has obviously abandoned it.

    This is a very disrespectful and ignorant thing to say about someone's mod, and although I didn't make it, it offends me as a mod author myself.

     

    Too many bugs? Name them from your personal experience. I'd like to know what you've seen in your game so far.

     

    Very outdated?! What the heck are you talking about? It's the latest dual wield mod out there! It's also the most comprehensive with more features available compared to others, and if that means a little bit of a learning curve, so be it. All you have to do is read the readme. Not only does it explain everything in detail, it has a troubleshooting section. Let me guess, you didn't read all of it did you? I'm willing to bet no, since you stated yourself you couldn't figure it out.

     

    Also, you obviously don't know the author. He had worked very hard on UV1 and has been working on a new UV2 version that is nearly completed, which would be why he is not supporting UV1 anymore. But honestly, everything that has a potential problem is in the readme for solutions. There are also patches available for some of the more persistent problems.

     

    That's fine if you don't like a mod, but refrain from stating crap about it that you don't know! It's junk like this that makes mod authors keep things private! :verymad:

    I know what you mean! If I don't like something and want an alternative, I'll just state that I'm aware of that mod already and leave it at that. Being something of a modder myself I know how much time and effort goes into things, and words like that would never even pop into my brain. The nerve of some people. There's been a few people popping in here recently with a bad attitude towards mods, like they're trying to browse for wallpaper! They don't seem to realise that mods aren't made for their personal pleasure. I'm not inclined to help them.

     

     

    Well I killed a goblin by throwing a dagger and got charged with murder, among a lot of other odd things... but sorry? I didn't mean it that way... also I wasn't aware that there is a new version in the works, that's really good to know, I bet it will be very good and I'll give it a try when it's released.

     

    does anyone know where the hairstyle in this pic came from? Also what mod did the weapon come from? Both are VERY nice (I hope it's not another Aion rip but I'm not sure)

    The Universe is absolutely huge. As in, much so huge that we can never get our minds wrapped around it. I think there has to be some other life out there, somewhere.

     

    Is it as intelligent as us? There's a good possibility. Though I'm reluctant to believe many of these stories about supposed "alien abductions" (especially the one about the guy who claimed to have had sex with a bunch of catgirl aliens), I think they exist, somewhere in this universe.

     

    If they are at our level of intelligence or even greater, I hope we make contact with them someday. I'd love to meet an alien. :)

     

    (though if any of these abduction stories are to be believed and there really are aliens out there that can travel the universe in an instant, then obviously they're a heck of lot more intelligent and advanced than we are... which is a little scary I admit.)

    Well I disabled my slower time mod, and I spent more than half an hour travelling there but it still doesn't work. I have no idea why the packages still won't trigger :(

     

    I was able to complete the quest by forcing all the stages through with cheats, I wouldn't have thought of that if it weren't for you.. thank you so much for your help! I just hope no other quests are borked like that :(

    It worked, it got Cyrus to do what he is supposed to do but as soon as he comes down and greets Jauffre and Jauffre says, "Yes, Cyrus, this is the Emperor's son, Martin Septim," the package and the dialogue stops dead and everyone just stands around and does nothing and I'm still stuck

     

    For the life of me I don't know what's causing it to be broken, this is the first time I've ever had this problem :(

    I can't progress any further in the main quest because when I go to Cloud Ruler temple for the first time with Martin and Jauffre, Cyrus just stands in the middle of the stairs and won't do anything, like he's supposed to walk down and greet Jauffre when you approach but something is causing it to not trigger and I"m stuck.     yeah it's pretty nice alright... still what about icons? i'm pretty picky as you can see...

     

    I highly recommend the Map Marker Overhaul since it allows you to override those awful, tiny circular map markers (I really hated those too) and choose from a number of different styles (including vanilla if you want). http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/smile.gif

    The map that comes with this mod is my personal favorite that I use. It's very colourful and exceptionally well done. Only disadvantage is it really makes the Cyrodiil part of the map quite squished down and the icons are all extremely close together because it's been expanded to show you all of Tamriel. But, I still likey. :)

    Well this issue really bothers me, but I'm reluctant to say why because I did on another forum and I was quite viciously attacked. Everyone argued against me, came at me like a pack of wolves and just tore me to shreds (and ironically many of them were women and straight men. Hypocrisy at it's finest)...

     

    But I will tell you the one thing relating to this issue that has happened in my life, that angers me the most. It's also the first thing that sparked my feelings about it this. When I was a girl of about 7 or 8, I was at my figure skating lessons. While practicing a jump I fell on the ice and my shirt came up, and my whole chest was bare for all to see for a couple of seconds. But I thought nothing of it, I just got up, pulled down my shirt and went back to what I was doing.

     

    Later, however, my Dad totally. Flipped. His. ****. Got all PO'd and was accusing me of "exposing myself". I said, it was an accident, but besides, you go without a shirt all the time! His rebuttal? "Well, I don't have breasts!"

     

    Let me remind you, I was only a wee girl at the time. I was still many years away from hitting puberty, and seriously? I had no trace whatsoever of these things called "breasts". My chest was as flat as my back. And besides, I was just a small child. How was I to know about this idiotic crap society has obviously brainwashed my father into believing? Well, not that it really means anything. My dad has always been a complete jerk and a total moron, especially when it comes to "female stuff". Hmph...

     

    But he's far from the only one to think this way and that's what troubles me. All humans, regardless of gender, possess some amount mammary tissue. After all, that's why we're called mammals. So, technically, all humans (males included) have "breasts".

     

    A lot of people argue, "Because if women walked around shirtless all us men would be getting aroused all the time!" a) I completely missed the part where that's my problem, b) it's not like every single woman who did it would be found "sexually arousing" by everyone else, and c) so what? Plenty of women get aroused by seeing shirtless men, but that's still legal.

     

    I'm not saying it's necessarily something I would ever want to do myself. I only think it's wrong the way people get degraded and shot down over stupid imposed morals, and just the plain unfairness of it. It's an ugly thing and it degrades society as a whole.

     

    It's also a very low and stupid thing to throw someone behind bars for...

    I have LTD vampire mod, so being a vampire actually has more fun benefits and makes the game more interesting. :)

     

    I also like just going around sucking people dry. it's fun. :)

    Well I guess the only reason I really like it is because it has nice, well defined fingers, toes and nails to match the excellent ones on the male body (IMO the HGEC ones look really chunky and not very realistic). Other than that it's pretty meh.

     

     

    Just one more question, does TGND have OOO and Armamentarium support?
