I would, but im one of these people who need a strong immersion feel for it...not just "hai! ya are hungrey, time to eat" messages, but also animations following them to let you know you character is weak/thirsty/needs sleep...wich will affect they way you move or see etc.
-
The undead keep lighting them for centuries!...honestly im not really bothered but considering nearly all dungeons are well lit, torches are kinda useless...if these catacombs would be the abyss of darkness as they normally would and the draugr wouldnt cause noise, that would be a nice horror atmosphere....maybe someone will make such a mod.

What level were you at when you started the main quest?
Thoreai replied to TobyTravis's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I was arround 34 i think on my first character, when i started the main quest...though i still havent finished it, started to play a bit my other one. -
Well i have no problem with either of these threads, these forums are here so people can express their opinions...unless someone is forcing his/her view upon you its wrong,if not its just fine...plus i love to eat while reading these threads...popcorn anyone?

Yeah, radiant story system are just generic quests put on you, so you have the illusion there is always something to do, but they get old pretty quick since all of them are the same. You cant really expect anything better when the game was developed 3 years...oblivion was developed 4-5 years and it was horrible, but then again they had to cut out many things...i wonder if actually a full uncut oblivion radiant AI and quests would kick skyrim @ss, becouse i dont see much improvement in skyrim.

Looking for an interesting --and fun-- character build
Thoreai replied to Drakhaoul's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well i have tried a pure healing build with a bit of conjuration (first time playing a caster at all in a tes game..waaaw...yeah im that bored). I picked some companion when i was doing quests, he is a typical warrior...sword and shield, i have to say i have a lot of fun, since i have no damage whatsoever and playing on master i have to make sure he stayes alive, i stay alive and also my summon to keep aggroing things plus i throw a paralyze spell here and there when things become messy, some circle of protection....its a lot of work, no pewpew /flex, since i have to rely on others. I cant remember the quest, but it was about this warriors family tomb that some necromancer desacrated, a typical random quest to pewpew, well not with my build..took 40 min to finish that little dungeon as the undead kept swarming us and with my 100hp it was a survival. This build is pure work, not for everyone i guess, but thats what its so fun about it, since the game makes everything easy for you. -
It was done to "balance" the fighting, since dual combat is all about damage, now if you would also be able to block, one-handed would be kinda useless, though they executed it poorly since they havent given us the ability to dodge..so its all about pewpewing others while being pewpew'd.

You condradict yourself in this statement. Its no secret why bethesda is being an awesome company, its thanks to the modding community...their games wouldnt be played such a long time without modders...because its them who fix their bugs all the time. You also somehow misunderstood quality for quantity....these awards are for sheep folks who jump on anything that is presented by the media. -
:turned: One thing about that, backwards dragons. came in with 1.2 which didn't give them much time to test. What i think they should do is relax take a bit of time to go over all the issues and get them fixed. also we the user's need to stop nagging at them over the stuff they know. There is nothing more annoying than hearing the same bsing reply to fix this or what they need to do. within a hour or two i am sure they know whats going wrong and needs fixing. Then you have several thousand people complaining so you must release a patch to fix things asap to hope it pleases them. but in which it seems to cause more for others and very few with no problems. To get success takes hard work, knowing what needs to be done, and learning from fails/mistakes. :whistling: Sig. The only problem is they arent really learning from their mistakes, these several thousand posts about the same things are there, becouse they arent doing anything about them and often break even that what was working.

Its a fact, coming from an observation. -
God i hope someone does...the only fps i cared for. :wallbash:

No...there is no impact on being a different race, just a few different dialogues.
-
I agree the fighting style for each race would be different, the khajiit especially would be great martial art fighters. All tes games beg to have some sort of interesting combat different from other race, i would really want to see that, but considering bethesda has always done a poor job with combat and animations...that will never happen unless someone else takes the lead...just my opinion.
-
Whats sad about this is, it shouldnt be like that in vanila game...the system should function and be balanced no matter what lvl...i really really wonder if bethesda played their game at all... no, would explain many things.
-
Sorry but i had a good laugh when reading the OP. Do you maybe have an amulet of mara equiped that woke Aelas other...senses?

Another rough day in the life of a vampire.
Thoreai replied to PileOGunz's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
That would be a wery fast writting of a story: "So i transformed into a werewolf, thought i give it a try and go attack some village. I get there, see already guards running towards me, i prepare myself for a good bloody fight, that will be fun! Wait what!?...Dude, why is my hp going so quick down and yours not...im a F*king werewolf..a beast!...i should rip anyone apart!..wtf! Quickload. -
True but in a game its different, one of the reason people play a game is the feeling of being needed, to be someone...ofcourse i dont want either that people come and bow to me 24/7, but they also shouldnt bash me when i just saved their as*es. It's the typical radiant AI, once someone knows something about you, everyone does...this would i guess need some more coding and scripting...something bethesdas designers cant do, since they arent given enough time to make things properly.
-
Absolutely agree with OP. Yeah exactly this, i never felt like im part of the world bethesda made and honestly i dont believe any of their next games will break that trend.

Thoreai replied to PileOGunz's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Uhh sounds bad, i'm really glad i listened to my senses about vampires in skyrim, pretty much knew its gonna be totaly lame...would be cool to have some sort of hypnosis power as aoe effect, that you could cast in case of being chased by whole town...people would forget for about 5 sec whats going and in that time if you were able to hide...they would forget what happened completely. Also force feed would be cool...its absolutely idiotic that the only way you can drink is when someone is sleeping...god bethesda totaly sucks in those things...its unapealing, uninteresting, unstylish and i dont know what else... :wallbash: -

Yeah lol ...the cradle...i was sh-ting bricks when going trough that...the atmosphere there was nerve breaking...immagine it would be done this way in skyrim with the draugr and other vermin. No happy jumping out of coffins, sounds/whispers and then when you least expect it... :ohdear: -

I been looking after this game from day one it was annouced...it looks really promising, it was planned as an mmo at first but then they decided to make a single player game out of it..im curious what the feel of the game will be...i hope not too mmo-ish, so far the combat/quest/crafting system looks awesome, also the diversity of the land looks great...im definitely going to save money for that one. And as you said the good designers from beth went there...win :) Im curious about the modability of the game though. Also "It is being specifically designed for PC, Xbox and PS3 without any console ports."...yay!
