Few mods that I think need more recognition: Markarth Environment Upgrade (completely redone Markarth area) TES Arena series (new awesome villages) Inhabitants of Skyrim (overhaul of NPC looks) Armory of Tamriel (thousands of new armors and weapons) You Hunger (less food for better gameplay with RND) SMPC (many good bugfixes) + SMPC Sounds Immersive College of Winterhold (amazing redone of Winterhold) Dustbound (cool follower) Dynamic Loot (just one of my most favourite mods) MOre interesting loot for Skyrim (another great loot mod)- 2 replies

Great idea, sadly controls are far from optimal. Here how to improve it: When you activate boat, player sees animation where his character sits on the boat and brings out paddles. Then you can control boat with WSAD keys. Character and boat are in 3d person view, unique paddle animation plays depending on where players heads his boat. This will be perfect. Clicking at sides for control is imho terrible -
Deadly Combat mod has locational damage and it works much better then Locational Damage mod. No script lags and works all the times

I think going for "both" way is the best. You could change manually some kids, like those in Riften's harbourage. And place new kids manually to places where they fit. For example there are never any kids in orc villages, and since you add orc kids it would be great to see some of them there. Also few dunmer kids in Dunmer Ambassy. Also khajit caravan could use khajit kid. Dont add too much to Solitude and Whiterun, since many people use Inconsequential NPCs and INteresting NPCs, and both of those mods add kids, there are many already in those cities.

Since I use many armor and weapon mods, and not every one of them has patches (some get armor/dmg value = 0 after reproc), Im thinking of using SkyRe without reproc-patching armor and weapons. Only bows, spells and potions. Along with Deadly Combat vanilla values work fine at low levels, and all values are correct. But will there be any drawbacks of not patching weapons/armor later on?

My Skyrim has about 500 mods installed not counting script, mesh, texture and interface mods. You can merge alot of stuff: almost any patches, many "new places" mods, small mods, NPC overhaul mods, encounters mods. I warn you, this is a long process through trials and errors. You need to test every single mod you merged. You need to know load order of merged files. And you need to keep track of all files you merged. For example my MERGED_Patches.esp file contains about 80 patch files, and my MERGED_Places.esp file about 60 mods that add new places. Ya, No Death mod is the most close to what I want. If only somebody remade it ^^ Forgetting spells upon death would be too much for mage who fully rely on them. At least in my Skyrim, where mages in robes get almost one shoted by any arrow and powerattack, so they suffer enough already. But another penalty for death could be getting full xp bar of skill that is most close to leveling up completely nullified. With slower leveling inis this will be rather brutal, and every death will lead to new skill bar being empty

Player always has an option to reload if he feels frustrated for loosing important quest item. But honestly I cant think of any modded item that would make me reload the game just for it.

I have about 500 mods in my Skyrim compilation. And lacking only one thing that will make this package complete. Simple death mod. I know there are quite a few and I tried them all, but none works out for me for varied reasons. This is what I need and its rather simple: when you die from any source, instead of reloading, you get ported to Whiterun temple, where you wake up on the bed in simple cloth. All stuff and gold you had on you except for quest items is gone permanently. If you had followers, they are summoned to temple around you. They loose everything they had in inventory, but have stuff they were wearing. Thats it. Minimum scripts, maximum reliability. Working with ANY type of death, be it fall death or freezing to death in Frostfall. Id really appreciate it if somebody makes such mod.

I have an issue with snow piles that look like this: http://images.pub.go...kyrim/snow2.jpg I use Better Dynamic Snow, No Snow Under the Roof, ETAC and Fresh Snow textures. Also all needed patches. Different load order and changing snow textures didnt help. What can it be?

Seeking for mod that gives me the best control over my followers and simple enough to be compatible with everything. Im currently using Extensible Follower Framework, and not a big fan of it. Maybe you guys can recommend me something?

I have a mod, lets call it "THEONE" that is only one esp file. It adds among other things few NPCs that are grey faced to me (since I use modded skin and body textures). As far as I know to make them look fine for me there need to be FaceTint files for each NPC. I want to take facetint files from other mods and attach them to THEONE. Can somebody point me quick steps how to do it in TES5Edit?
