  1. Could you be more specific please? Exactly how it crashes? Does it crash in specific locations or when doing certain things? As for the load order: Do you use the BOSS auto sorter to sort your mods?
  2. Hmmm can't really see anything out of the ordinary. Do you use BOSS to sort your mods? One thing though: You should put the "James Invisible wall bugs remove.esp" all the way at the bottom of your load order. (or at least under the AQFH mods) Also, I assume the FO3 esm and the DLC esm's ar all above the load order you posted? (with the FO3.esm at the top) (I personally also always put the DarNifiedUIF3.esp at the bottom too, not the cause of the problem you're reporting, but still)
  3. I think he means "human error". In other words, he means that some ctd's are, well, the cause of the person operating the keyboard. As for the ctd's themselves, well, lets say Fallout 3 is not exactly the most stable of games. Fortunately there are a lot of modders out there that have made "patches" which generally help make the game run more stable. Example: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15962 Edit: other then that, I'll have to agree with quicksilverva's first reply that we should really get some more info about what you were doing etc...
  4. Hey, that's even better! Thanks for the help. (and the link)
  5. No, you don't look like an idiot. Idiots can be found here: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/forum/188-forum-rules-and-strikes/  Anyway, children of the wasteland and MMM are two almost must-have mods. (you could also give the "shojo race" a try if you use children of the wasteland. It needs the "hair changes" mod too btw) Best game ever is ME 2? hmm that's a tough one. I did extremely like it but for me it kinda lost a bit of the RPG element. (something which is supposed to be brought back in ME 3.) anyway, this is way off-topic. Have fun! Edit: Spelling errors :wallbash:
  6. thx my bad. one more thing: in my FOMM there is now the master file and a LOT of smaller files (ex 20th century v5ALIVE (slaver) or (super mutant) etc what are these??? do they give the new guns to those groups or what? Yes they do. They also let those "groups" pick up and use the non-vanilla ammo. by the way, make sure that the calibr esm is above the 20thcentury weapons. esm in Fomm. All the .esp's should come under it.
  7. No, it shouldn't. Are you sure you put in the files labeled as .ESP and .ESM in the data folder as well? Just downloaded the file from that location myself and the esp's and esm's are within the downloaded folder, so it should be just a matter of copy & paste...
  8. @Agoon12: Not everybody has the same level of skill or thinks as lightly as you do about modding... As for the mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5670 Doesn't close the BOS HQ door though...
  9. Yeah, I know. Everybody's run off to New Vegas. Didn't know that mod was under review. Don't know why either. Can't really recommend any other mod, since I only use that one too. As for the location of the 19th & 20th century weapons mod: http://www.fileplanet.com/210864/210000/fileinfo/Fallout-3---19th-and-20th-Century-Weapons-Mod-v5 (hopefully the link's allowed)
  10. What? No responses for less then a day and you already bump it? Anyway, here it goes: 1) Yes, I suppose those are indeed good mods. I have used or am still using most of them great pleasure. So, yes those are some good enhancements for FO3. 2) Clothing changes? I suppose you could give "Lings Finer Things" a try. (You'll have to look it up yourself though, since it's not on the nexus anymore) For hair "changes" you could give this a try: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1146 3) Strongly depends on your own tastes. Personally would recommend "Mothership Zeta Crew": http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8747 and possibly this to go with it: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15369 Perhaps a mod that changes Sydney into a (voiced) follower?: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9320 and a mod that changes her default appearance: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11362 Perhaps a mod that gives Bittercup a more appropriate appearance?: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13643 You might also want to give changing the default hud a try by trying "DarNified UI". (you'll have to look that one up yourself too.) Well, I suppose these will keep you busy enough for a while. Have fun.
  11. Looks like the arm might be from this mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5365 If not, try searching the Fo3 nexus for "terminator"
  12. He Firelady,

Happy Easter to you too! I'm going on vacation to southern France! (just 1 week though)

  13. Oh, come on. Is it really that bad to play through just one section again? All that trouble just for that? At any rate, I'm sorry, but I will not be able to help you with this. Perhaps someone else can?
  14. Agreed. And here's the link: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6240 Put it at the bottom of your load order. Edit: Oh, I already posted the link, oh well. Just for good measure then
  15. What? You mean killable children? Don't worry, that won't get this thread closed
  16. Well, Actually, I have all vanilla stuff done including all DLC's + I have a load of mods which seriously alter the game-play, so even if I would send you a savegame, it probably simply wouldn't work. On that note, Is it truly so bad that you have to go through the quest again? Ok the vanilla mothership zeta quest is bad but there are already mods which reduce the amount of aliens in it, making it way more easy. You could of course also simply toggle god mode on for the MZC quest, then complete it. (just a suggestion)
  17. Well, I suppose you could give posting this in the mod requests section a try. Maybe a modder will be willing to help you with this. (or perhaps kindly requesting the author of LIngs Finer things to do this for you? Not sure if he's still active here though) That's all I can do at this point...
  18. Two things: First: Where do you have broken steel in your load order? Or. even better, could you post your load order? Second: Are you using a custom race? If so, try this: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6240
  19. Hmm, I agree. Although I currently use Marts Mutant Mod. Which already gives the "vicious" dogs some more variation and adds more of them, but you're probably talking about the more "friendly" dogs, no?
  20. Why not just use a bodysuit or something similar? There's enough mods for it and it makes the most sense. Just look at all the athletes right now. They all already have swimming suits which cover up more and more of their skin because it produces less resistance in the water. Extrapolate that to a highly advanced "commonwealth" & 200 years of development and you get a bodysuit. (just a suggestion of course)
  21. @Slicer51b: Hehe yeah lets see, what's more creepy: A Tyranid or a Xenomorph? @Flopsies: As for the savegame, I really can't help you with that. I'd say there's also a high probability that using one of my savegames would never work. Besides, I've completed just about all vanilla quests and I have a huge load of mods running.
