Here's some screenshots of my leg attachment, I did a standing and a running. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w6rndlshqb5ww0v/MK14-Apparel-Screenshots.zip?dl=0 It occured to me that the .esp has AWKCR and AE dependency, more just a reminder, I'm not concerned about it since I use both and they are obviously very popular and necessary to some extent at least for those of us that pile mods on.

Here's my adjusted position, I assume more people are probably interested in the back position but CROSS pieces are pretty popular and if you use the torso pieces putting the gun on the back would look odd or totally clip through the back piece. https://www.dropbox.com/s/d72lxkm7qz8x5pl/MK14EBR-Apparel.7z?dl=0 That is one helluva bundle in that pic. It looks like something we might see in a Hothtrooper hermit/vagabond mod.

  4. I'd like to see the raiders have the kind of armor from FO3 where it was parts and pieces of tires and s#*! like that. It had a Mad Max kind of feel to it. I don't care much for the over use of pipes in this game.
  5. I'd like to be able to place pools and ponds of water in my settlement without having to snag from console. I have yet to find water that isn't radioactive AND it disappears from time to time. Nothing spruces up a settlement like a water feature besides the water necessity.
  6. Kikai, Go ahead and change what you need/want and go ahead with the back as well, I'm sure people will be eager to have this ASAP. I will on the other hand make my own back variant just to learn but no need for others to wait on me. Dazz, Thanks for the beautiful gun as well as permissions Meanwhile, Im working on a holster that attaches to the thigh piece so my gun isn't just floating and you were right Kikai, it is odd looking when I run so I adjusted it a bit so it's not forward pointing during a run nor look like Im bashing my elbow with each step.
  7. I had noticed that when exporting to .nif, the muzzlebrake "blacks out" which I could tell was off but didn't know why....I should have mentioned that. The reason I used the Thighskin was because that's what the CROSS Heavy Leg piece is weighted to so I assumed that I would want it to have similar motion as the piece it is attached to. One final question: If I wanted to change the position to the back; would I just change it's position in OS then change appropriate settings in .esp? Or would I need to re-weight it? I can't thank you enough. You've been such a tremendous help and I will post a couple shots for you to see what you helped with and eventually recreated yourself. I learned quite a bit from this, thanks again. J.

Here ya go https://www.dropbox.com/s/m0gk8jbv58wqoxh/Desi-MK14EBR-Apparel.zip?dl=0 I did do the Environment but I may have missed one by accident but I literally went line by line through the BSLightingShaderProperty and BSShaderTextureSet. There was a spot for the scope where it has the lens (spectredr-lens) and that only has a single branch BSEffectShaderProperty so I made the apparel item record match it.
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHA....thats awesome. My only suggestion might be to give a somewhat high chance of the Bloody Mess perk cause explosion or not being hit by a flying vehicle is physically brutal even if it doesn't explode on impact. Looks like a fun mod to be working on.
  10. game CTD if I try to drop it Also, double checking .nif in Nifskope, it does indeed show the individual components as BSSubIndexTriShape. All the Material files and textures are set identically with exception to keeping the SLSF1 on apparel item and removing the SLSF FaceGen RGBTint
  11. ok, I tried in game but same thing as before. I can find in console and equip it but can't see it. I just dont know

So I redid the whole mesh , weighting, etc...and Im adjusting the textures and materials in Nifskope and on the trigger apparel item, there is only 1 texture slot but the original gun trigger has the 3 .dds and cube map......what do i do? I tried copying the branch but 1) it creates it as a 2nd BSShader branch and 2) this 2nd branch looks just like the first. I can't seem to add all the textures for the apparel trigger. EDIT: Nevermind; I just had to leave the branch and come back for them to appear....I dont know why but whatever...they are showing now.

Ok, so the Biped slots are set to 55-Unnamed for ARMA and ARMO, ARMA record shows the apparel .nifs for both genders, ARMO has the apparel .nif under male, I also set the keyword to _ClothingSlotGunOnHip_Slot55 [KYWD:0100083C] Also, I can link it with the Visible Weapons mod but it does not show on my body. I can drop it on the ground and it shows on the ground but there's no way to highlight/pick it up.
  16. Also Ubercharge has a voice mod that changes the chatter of synths to something a bit more.......it makes you feel nervous when you hear them talking to each other and out to you . Even if you are OPed and no problem wasting them the voice has a way of making you nervous of their presence; well, for me and a number of the users of the file anyway.

  18. Ok, so it doesn't show on my body but it does show at the armor bench for improving and has a model showing there. Why wouldn't it show on my body when equipped?

Ok, so Im at the part where I copy an ARMA entry to mine (I used the AECnhimkokoPistolHarnessArma [ARMA:02000DD0] since it's already a hip holster) but the new ARMA record doesn't show in the drop down ARMA list in my ARMO record. Should I just type it in even though it doesn't show it? Many Thanks J. EDIT: Nevermind...I happened to remember that the new record has to be collapsed and reopened to recognize some changes
  20. Thanks Kikaimegami for the help Ok, so I think thats done so what now? How do I make it appear in game as an apparel item? I think once it's a wearable item in game I can then use the Visible Weapons mod.
  21. I need some help would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. I want to turn MK14 EBR into apparel item that can be used with the Weapon on Back mod. I have a .nif with the gun all as 1 single item but not sure where to go from here to make it an apparel item. I read the instructions for Modders on WOB page but it assumes a weapon is already an apparel piece at that point.
  22. I didn't read through your whole list but if you have the UI mod by Neanka (DEFV or something like that) it needs to be updated. It will cause CTD upon opening build menu because of UI changes it makes, newest version of it works great

  24. Im really diggin the CROSS Cybernetics with either Courser suit or Nano suit underneath. Courser by nsk13 & deserterX or Nano 5.0 by Vasstek (sp?) I forget the author's name for CROSS but it pops if you search "CROSS"
  25. What would I be looking for to know if a mod will affect the count? I had previously assumed that anything more than a texture replacer but it seems there are some mods that dont contribute to the count but I dont know specifically why.
