  1. It's been done for Oblivion, but it takes a lot of work. Give it a few months.
  2. The easiest thing to do would be to wait until the Creation Kit comes out later this month. Then you can add the .nif files in and make an .esp in just a few clicks to your heart's content.
  3. I made my wife into an companion as well, but Lydia is by far the most capable follower.
  4. Only if they knowingly provide a thief. It's normally their job to provide such things to people who inquire, no?
  5. Put a bucket over their heads? Not sure if it works with pickpocketing. :P
  6. Yeah, GOTY and 5th anniversary are fully updated. Just go ahead and install the unofficial patch.
  7. I'll probably be using a SSD in my next rig. Keep all my games on an NAS or fileserver. :D
  8. Not really bizarre, but I had more than three kills with a guy loading up a Jeep with C4 and trying to kill me in my AA. OK, that's alright, smart idea. Not when you charge me from the front again and again and again.
  9. That's really a shame. I'm forced to play BF3 with Origin as is, and it's a horrible experience.
  10. True, on both counts. But, with a site with a name like "*not allowed*"...... the torrents that they DO host are most certainly not legally attained. So, is it technically legal to host the torrent file, just not the copyrighted material itself? Kinda splitting hairs there.... but, I suppose that's what lawyers are for. The torrent file itself doesn't contain copyrighted material, just pointers to computers that have it. So basically torrent sites host these files, and these files by extension link to the copyrighted material.
  11. Only need to figure out how to get AA running now.
  12. "Now that's interesting," commented Benjamin, thinking about any possible ramifications on the guild's destruction. "Shouldn't be any problems," said Nephenee, almost reading his mind. "It's an underground guild. No issues." OOC: Have fun.
  13. "I see," said Benjamin, scratching his chin. "That would be a difficult task indeed." "Destroying the avatar?" whispered Nephenee. "Long story," he responded, shaking his head. "Anyway, I heard an interesting rumor just before you two got into the tavern. Apparently, an assassin's guild here was just eliminated not too long ago."
  14. "Quite nice," responded Nephenee. "I'm considerably better off now." "I see you two are also acquainted," commented Benjamin. "How has your Oblivion Gate idea gone?" he asked.
  15. Find the exact filepath in the BSA, and use that in the data folder. That's how I think it's done.
  16. Platform: PC PC ID: Lyute Class: Engineering. I almost only use vehicles.
  17. "So, what brings you to Riften?" asked Benjamin. "The camp that I was in was already decimated by an arsonist. There wasn't any sense to be staying there, and Riften was simply the closest city with a decent trading center." Makes sense, Benjamin realized. "It's too bad there aren't many ships in and out of Riften," she continued. "Skyrim is a great place for profit. If I could move assets out here, there would be a lot of profit." "Wow, slowww down!" said Benjamin. "You need to stop thinking about trade once in a while." Nephenee laughed, apologizing. "In anycase, Riften is an interesting little city, isn't it?" Benjamin thought back at his experience with the man he came across earlier. The Thieves guild, was it? "Yeah, definitely."
  18. A little while later, Nephenee had made it back to the tavern. Benjamin was still sitting at his table with his ale. "Welcome back, my friend!" he said as she entered. She smiled back. "I should introduce you guys. You already know Barrius. This is Mark," --Benjamin nodded at his squire-- "And this is Reiko, one of my father's knights," he said, also nodding at the knight. "Nice to make your acquaintances," said Nephenee, shaking both of their hands before sitting down.
  19. Nephenee jingled her new coinpurse happily as she made her way to the rare commodities district of the market. Rare gems, specifically, sapphires had just bottomed out on the market and was about to rise again --The perfect time to buy, and she now had some capital. She walked up to the counter and plopped down the bag of coins and a small bag of peppercorn that was worth another 900 septims. "Sapphires. I want 2,900 septims worth of Grade A; how many have you got?" Flustered a bit, the man looked underneath his counter and pulled out a tray of cut sapphires. "2,900 septims would get you about 78 of them," he said, meekly. "I'm buying in bulk. These spices are also the finest from the Imperial city. How about 85?" "D-Done." The gem trader put the gems into a leather pouch and handed the gems over. The trade was more of a practical one. It was much lighter to carry sapphires than coins, and she even stood to make a decent amount of money in this.
  20. Benjamin and Barrius made his way to the tavern and found Reiko outside, leaning against the wall. "Find anything interesting?" he asked, handing off his horse to the inn's stablehand. "Just a cheap book on the Dwemer. Good for passing the time. You?" "Guess who rode into town?" he responded. "Your friend?" "Mm." Benjamin opened the door and immediately ordered a pint of wine and a mug of milk, sitting down at a table. He slid the mug across the table as Mark and the other two knights sat down. "Drink up, kid."
  21. Luckily, up here in New York, we don't get too much of that racial prejudice. We've got a fair amount of black cops and citizens around here that would likely raise hell in any incident, other people aside.
  22. Thanks for the tip on keeping the shaders intact. Unfortunately, for Celshader+EdgeAA, what I wanted was the EdgeAA, as the other available AA is simply not very good. Would there be any other possible solutions for AA?
  23. A .hack-esque RPG that is fully fledged and open world such as Skyrim.
