Hey, saw you talking about your PC the other day in the chat. Unfortunately, it looks like you might need a new computer. There's just no space for upgrades; the PSU in there is cramped as is, and there's almost no space for a graphics card. Its a really limited environment to work in. If have to upgrade, you're going to need a low-profile graphics card(Budget?) for sure; it looks like very few cards are going to fit in cramped PCI-E x16 slot. The PSU is only 200W and its already jammed in with no margin for space(from the pictures I saw), and even if you fit one in, everything is probably going to burn up from bad ventilation. I'd really advise you to get a new computer.

I have to agree. I finished the main questline, and decided to join the companions. Instead of gloriously accepting me, they go "Uhh, I've never heard of this guy. You sure about that?" And then, "Whelp, you haven't proven yourself yet!" Well, I f***ing saved the world and you don't know who I am, let alone insult me!? It's really immersion breaking. I tried to lie.

Hmm, I didn't take that into account. Makes sense now; there would be plenty space for all the gold too. After all, all the gold existing today in its entirety only fills up a space the size of a small office building. It'd certainly be a pain to move all the gold though.

You have very little posts, but they are bloody brilliant. Thanks for the insight on this. Though, that still brings us back to the fact that a single Septim is made of gold. I don't think two million gold coins were circulating around the entirety of medieval Europe. If each coin was an ounce, that would be 2 million ounces or 56699kg of gold. To achieve "rich" status, that would be 5.6 Million kg of gold. I doubt that amount of gold even existed back then. Now, if that 200,000,000 septim sum was copper... :whistling:

Hmm... I do want to see a well integrated copper-silver-gold mod. I've slowly been learning how to mod, and have been trying to making a Trading Guild questline, but the lack of diversity in the existing trade system is a big putoff.

Is there a mod that has copper, silver, and gold Septims? Unfortunately not to my knowledge. I bet it could probably done with a lot of scripting. Far out of my league, unfortunately.

Then again, the gold is disproportionate; a house should be worth tons more than thirty years' worth of food. From a strict roleplaying standpoint, the Septim should be divided into silver and copper coins, with the gold coin being able to buy you some 200 loaves of bread, and the copper coin taking the place of the ingame Septim(Four million copper Septims would set you for life) making thousand-gold treasure stashes actually worth something.

How do I get around to disabling protected followers?

Hi, I'm currently using UFO with a bunch of followers. I have them all set to 'unessential', but whenever they hit zero health, they go into bleedout mode and enemies ignore them. If I hit them myself, however, they do die. Is there a way to disable bleedout mode? Epic-level battles aren't epic when the battle goes one sided because all my companions just kneel and heal. :confused: isessential <baseid> brings back 0.00, which means their not essential. But they still enter bleedout mode. >.<

Exclusivity contract. Microsoft probably paid Bethesda off with some big bucks for a first-release.

Are there any conflicts with Ultimate Follower Overhaul? I attempted to install, and I found AD tried to overwrite scripts/source/favordialoguescript.psc.

Developer.nvidia.com (Or something to that effect) went down last week amid massive attacks on Yahoo and Nvidia. Problem is, I need the DDS file plugin for Photoshop DDS editing, which was hosted on Nvidia. Does anybody have a backup copy of that piece of freeware, by any chance?

EDIT: Ok, I sorted out the code and now it works. One more issue, though: I've got stuff in the log entry that's not showing up in my journal. It's just blank, and under that is my quest objective, 'Investigate the East Empire Company'. The journal should say "The documents S'Barro sold me aren't what they seem, but they aren't worthless. They're East Empire Co. shipping manifests and ledgers, and they don't add up."

Hi there. I'm currently delving into making a quest(And scripting!) for Skyrim for the first time, but I'm having a difficult time finding out how to make an NPC I created to take some gold after the PC accepts buying an object(starting the quest), and how the NPC will give said item to the player. I'm not sure what to do, can't find any tutorials on that. Any help would be appreciated! :biggrin:

I would assume it would be like any other transaction: Proof of purchase. In this case, it would be the invoice for the license.

As the topic says, I have Skyrim, Oblivion, NV, and Fallout 3, all chock-full of mods on my old HDD with a corrupt Windows 7 32-bit install. If I reinstall all the games, will moving the saves and overwriting the game folders with the old ones allow me to play with my ~100 mods on each game? The new PC is x64. Thanks.

As described by the title, when I go to the execution block in a new game and new install(With YgNord race), I just stand there looking down, and I get stuck there, and the dragon comes, breathes fire on the executioner, etc. Enableplayercontrols doesn't work. Help? Any console commands?
