  1. You are a pretty active member here though, I'm sure you'd be willing to spend a 12 dollars or however much to become a premium member when they offer the beta, if I convince them to offer one. heh heh, yeah, but that would be kind of hard for the administrators to manage... they would have to script some codes I suppose... not to hard I guess.
  2. I'll just print out this entire topic and take it with me when I go to visit the studio, I'll of course add to my list so they know the things I'd like to see and then they can view the rest of the topic and add anything that they think would be a good idea, or I can even go over it with them and tell them what else I want them to add and have them write down notes, but I can't guarantee that they will even add anything at all, but like I said, these are just going to be suggestions I'm going to make, not things that will be because I wish it. Open Beta for Premium Nexus members might be safest though :P Maybe I can land a job with Bethesda through my wish as well. And thank you whoever gave me my second Kudos!
  3. Yeah, just in case though I will ask that they make it a point to off support for the modding community here at TES Nexus. Whether the owner of the site here wants to accept whatever they offer is up to them. And about co-op, I'm sorry but thats a big frowny face from me. I see the elder scrolls as a single player only game and thats why I believe the series is good. Once again sorry, but no.
  4. Alright Jack, I see what you mean. I'm just going to add small things to my list from now on though, things that really catch my eye. I will ask them to look at my thread as well though so that they can see what their fans want.
  5. Its just an everybody in general thing. And I mean it may be too much to ask because you have to realize they are 2 years into development, so they likely have a lot of the game put together. They are probably working with making Skyrim as we speak and I won't be going until after my treatment is finished, and thats not for a couple of months. I'm just getting things done sooner and giving everybody plenty of time to suggest ideas. I still also have to tell Make A Wish Foundation my wish. I know they can get anything, and I'm sure they will have no problem getting me a tour and a meeting with the developers, but there is always the possibility that Bethesda may say no and refuse, but thats highly unlikely because then I could say that they refused to make my wish come true and then that would be bad publicity on the news ;) not that I would be that unforgiving. So as far as I am concerned, I am going to get my tour because Make A Wish Foundation is just that good.
  6. I've added mounted combat because its something simple and wouldn't be too much to ask of them. Much of what ya asked is a bit too general, already been verified as one of their goals or is just too much too ask. I'll be sure to take a look tomorrow at your stuff again and see what else I might add, I'm a bit tired now and am going to bed, and hopefully I will see more ideas here soon :D
  7. Thanks for the great idea Calliton, I would never have remembered that from morrowind :P
  8. Heh heh, yeah... maybe they will give me a kudos or two :P Fishy Sticks it shall be then! :D
  9. Thats very kind of you darkninja, but I've seen some brilliant ideas out there that others have thought of and I like to see the creativity this community has :D
  10. Because I have cancer, the Make A Wish Foundation is giving me a wish. I am choosing part of my wish to visit Bethesda Studios for a tour, to meet the developers and to get a behind the scenes of TES:V Skyrim. I then thought that perhaps I should also make part of my wish to be able to have my suggestions added to the game. So what I am thinking is that I will take suggestions from everybody here and I will add things that I like to my list here and then I will run the list by the developers at Bethesda Studios. So please, suggest away! **Update** Looks like my trip won't be happening until november after the game is released. Bethesda rejected the three dates I gave to make a wish foundation and instead said I could come after they release the game. Its a bummer, but they aren't likely to budge on when I can come. My List: Polearms Crossbows Throwing Knives/Axes Live Trade /Travel Across The Roads Closed/Full Helms Medium Armor Differentiation between short and long blade and blunt and axe Active and Inactive Weapons When Shield Is Not In Use Its On Characters Back Mounted Combat Multi-faceted and layered clothing Flying Mounts Dark Elf Voices From Morrowind Decapitation Overlays on characters Construction Set Nexus Modding Community Support Advanced Customization for Mount Armor Werewolves I just read up on much of the changes made from oblivion to skyrim that have been announced and it looks awesome.
  11. If I see the return of polearms, closed helmets, crossbows and accurate beast races... then I'll be happy.
  12. I don't think it will take any getting used to. It didn't take any getting used to from TES:III to TES:IV for me, it actually was easier to get started. I don't think it will suck either. It can't be any worse than TES:IV at least, especially since it has dragons in it.
  13. Honestly, Oblivion was very small compared to what it really would be in the lore map I'm assuming. I would guess that bethesda will attempt to make Skyrim on an accurate scale. I'm sure cities will be much larger and the population will increase by a lot as well.
  14. Ok, after about an hour of researching and browsing the market I've found some better options for the monitors to maximize the eyefinity feature of my GPUs that I have chosen. It will be awesome. 15. Yes, this computer is going to be very powerful and expensive, but thankfully I do not have to pay for the computer. Make A Wish Foundation will be giving me a wish once I finish my cancer treatment, which means I get a new and very powerful computer. I can't exactly put a price on all of the parts that I have listed below, but with all of the little extras, bits and bobbles that will be coming with those parts the computer comes to a grand total of $8020. This computer will be a beast. 16. I say you should push for legal action. His parents can learn a lesson too. They should be raising him better, thus they are to blame just as much as the script kiddy.
  17. Hey guys, looks like you have been very busy the past few days. If its alright with you I'd like to assist. Not much is really happening on my team right now, everyone appears to be on holiday, yay...
  18. Try messaging them. This past week has been a bit of a holiday for me and I've just been more lazy than I should have. I need to get running again outside too.
  19. I must say I am impressed that you've managed to load that many mods at one time. Maybe the game is being swamped with data and causing an error with the problem you specified. I can't really say what the problem is, but perhaps it could even be a problem with the core files of the game.
  20. o.o That sounds pretty odd, yet funny at the same time. It sounds like Elsarian knows how to deal with this problem though.
  21. You do know you can scale items right in the cs do you not? Unless you plan on making brand new meshes or textures for these valuable gems then I suggest you simply double click on the item in the construction set and scale it up or down, depending on what you are trying to do. I'm not sure I can really help much though. I can do retextures to some extent and I am beginning to understand how to model in blender. Ill check in on this post soon, if you need any help just ask.
  22. I was just browsing some photos about steampunk and I'm sure many of you have seen this picture but I thought I would post it anyways. http://www.scificool.com/images/2009/03/steampunk-spider.jpg I thought that the steampunk spider looked pretty cool. I like this because it somewhat reminds me of the centaurians from Morrowind, if that is what they are called. Anywho, I just felt like suggesting it as a possible custom creature for steampunk.
  23. I'll make a suggestion for file sharing. I use a 4shared account. Its free and gives you lots of space, just make a shared account for your team. I hope this tad bit of information helps.
  24. I like the sound of the mod. Its similar to my idea of an Oblivion development mod where it brings more of a real life sense to the game rather than just focusing around the main quest. I'll participate gladly. I'm not much use in the way of scripting or modeling but I can help with construction set, voice acting or writing.
