  1. to me, the cuirass looks like it could be done with a normal map edit to steel armour. but i dont know how to do that sorry
  2. We're here, we have skills. why cant we do it as a group? why does it have to be a single person? we need(max) 2 modellers. 3 or 4 texturers and a bunch of researchers to find inspiration for the texturers
  3. Meaningless, because Clothing COVERS Bodyparts. And such thing as a Neck can be simply exchange with Nifskope. He means the body replacer mods. if you dont have the right clothing meshes for big boob mods and such there will be clipping issues and the boobs will stick through the clothes
  4. Nice essay mate. I've got a good few hours of boredom coming up so ill look into medieval clothes, current cyrodiil clothes and what retextures i can do.

Sometimes when looking for something I feel like the TesNexus search is a bit like google images Me: "Cow" TESNEXUS: "Grey Cowl" Me: no, "Cow " TESNEXUS: "Humanoid Cow playable races" Me: NOOOO "COW" TESNEXUS: "moo?" I thought a mod that adds cows would be the FIRST thing modders added to oblivion?

  12. Ok I've managed to get most of it working. except it wont remove from the inventory because it wont technically equip... what begin command should i use for activation in the inventory/container?

  14. Ok, very simple question. How do Welkynd stones work? I'm certain they use scripts, otherwise you wouldnt have the "your magicka is full so the stone retains it charge", but i cant for the life of me find the script :S please help?
  15. Hey mate, just a quick update. I have the red model done and have spent the last 2 hours trying to figure out how welkynds work. once i get it though it should be smooth sailing [EDIT] Initial release added. not every ruin has them. but they work and are in the world at least
  16. On a semi-related note. can anyone tell me how to extract the textures from ingame so i can change a texture for the stone from blue to red? i could probably do the rest on my own
  17. I understand your problem mate. a lot of the time english documents translated to another language don't make sense in the other language. the Readme for example. If that site explains it for you mate congradulations. If not, i'm sorry I don't know how to help.   18. Question. How many people here can do these armour and clothing models? Cos I'm fairly good with texturing. Everyone here basically wants more historically accurate armour, why cant we band together and do it ourselves?
  19. mages guild members get a drop in disposition if you talk to them with necro robes on. but not if you wear the king of worms robe. not sure why.
  20. Ok. I recommend staying with the TESNEXUS mods, as you probably already have an account. there is a search bar on the right where you can type in a word of what your looking for. Magic overhaul, nightmare (its a difficulty mod that increases enemy spawns) or weapon 2. most mods have an installation readme telling you how to install it. typically you just need to drag the .esp and any folders into your oblivion data directory(where you installed oblivion there is a folder called DATA) once thats done run the oblivion launcher and click 'data files' or whatever it is in your version and click the box next to your new mod. I understand english is not your prime language, if you cant understand this I'm sorry As for the Mod manager. the bar on the left is all the mods you have installed, in the order the game will read them. all .esm's need to be at the top, certain mods function better higher up, some lower down. any mods you need to do this for will tell you. on the right at the bottom is a button labeled 'load' use it to open .omod files. they will appear in the right with a green or red square. double click to 'activate' them and follow the prompts
  21. I have no favourite. But as I enjoy roleplaying my characters fully. when i start a game i roll a d10(special type of die) if the result is 0 i roll again, 1-9 decides my characters city of affinity. Not easy to go from an Anvil lover to a Bravil lover, especially with better cities :P

I had 2 great ones with my new character. 1) rounding a corner I saw a rat, BLAST IT was my first thought, so i hit it with a fireball as it was mid bound, it did a full backflip and a half and landed on its back in one of those open fort chests :P 2) coming around another corner(finally got me some arrows) and i see a conjurer, she saw me first :S I quickly draw and fire at her. My round goes over the shoulder of the stunted scamp and into the middle of her top lip just as the scamp was bringing in the shoulder for a hit xD

  24. thanks mate. but when i move the bone, the bone and all bones attached to it move, but the model doesnt. even when i leftclick off
  25. In attempting to follow instructions in a blender animation tutorial. it says to click on the head bone, press r and move it... doing so does NOTHING for me, ive followed every step included and its just not rotating the head for me. can anyone help?
