The song is from the preception of a dog that waits for their companion. "The dancing shadows on the wall, "the two step in the hall". The two step is a partners dance, 4 legs. The song has abstract lyrics that would actually make sense if having came from a dog's mind. Don't get me going on the frantic chorus. Listen to frantic chorus after thinking about a dog that is anxiously awaiting for you to throw his ball, and he's steering at you thinking. "Throw me the ball,throw me the ball,omg huhuhubuhuhu throw me the ball throw me the ball" It's a dog folks, I can pick the whole song apart

if you verify files in steam youll need to reclean masters. i would clear download cache in Steam first.

Skyim and the unofficial SE patch shouldn't be problem. I'm on break now can't do much. When you did test run was it with mods? I would probably do a test run with no mods. If the problem is still there the only thing I could think to do is verify files in steam, this would result in needing to reclean masters, if you SE'ers need to do that.

i would start by looking in the SE equivalent of tes5edit. Load all mods in SEdit and open skyrim esm and open quest tabs and find "the fallen" and click to see what mods you have affecting that quest. it would like similar to this I have heard script lag messing up quest, not sure what to tell you on that as i don't recall ever having had experienced it. . i personally feel like this should be someones last resort but you might need to verify integrity of game files in steam. If you go that route you'll have to reclean masters. maybe run savetool mod if its available for SE

USLEEP is strongly recommend when using LAL, that and your load order is not great. At the top of load order you should have Dawnguard, Hearthfire,Dragonborn, then USLEEP.

Closing Argument: 14,000 files is your selling point. This is 14,000 files of non optimized 2k textures. Everyone knows to go get the better optimized textures mods to come in and overwrite as much of that mess as possibly, and what your left with is 5000 or so files that the better mods did not overwrite from the Hi Res DLC, these 5000 files can easily stay at vanilla level. I don't need non optimized 2k spigot, or cobwebs or skeletal remains. There is a reason why the better mods didn't touch all 14,000 files, Its not needed. Size and Quantity are not always the best route. Furthermore, your real helpful when you come in and deflect good advice and refrain from offering any advice. OP says they want a good looking skyrim but they also want to play a little on the safe side since they cooked last laptop. Your advice is to go with non optimized 2k textures on everything.. More mines, multiply ideas. 1. The Stormcloaks and the Imperials should have an Iron and Corundum mine that fuels their civil war 2. Most mines in Skyrim really could use some more mineable ores inside them.

Anything would be nice. A complete overhaul/upgrade would be amazing. Bleak Falls Barrow, An added voiced npc who tags along to fight first dragon, and dies?How about the great warriors farindork is always talking about, add a script to shut him up after dragon battle and that's a mod by itself. High Hrothgar path. Ustengrav. Thalmor Party. Ratways and SkyHaven Temple and so on and so on. Anything would be nice, like Bleak Falls and Ustengrav and cave leading to SkyHaven Temple, and SkyHaven Temple...

Move your skeleton lower in load order to make sure nothing is overwriting

Verify integrity of files in steam, reclean dlcs with tes5edit. Were you using NMM before MO? Also, Loot could sort better than that.MO you should have mod list(left window) same order as plugin list(right window)

Your play through is probably toast. Few things you can try that would maybe allow you to keep play through Install enboost Memory allocation fix (skse ini or crash fixes) Cut back some texture mods. Anything outside of that like.. Removing mods (-textures) Alter load order is not advised. If you have to nuke it and your still on LE i recommend MO.
