  1. Start a new game go to the ctd zone via alternate start. Enter the inn. If it repeats this means you got a mod problem. If it ain't, means you got a save corruption issue with a screwed up script from a mod. Could be you broken the golden rule of modding that is to never remove a mod with scripts in a playthrough. Here is a guide we can use to better analyse the papyrus. http://afkmods.iguanadons.net/index.php?/topic/4129-skyrim-interpreting-papyrus-log-errors/ We also need to see your mod load order.
  2. We need the load order of your mods. We also need the papyrus logs to get a better idea what is the faulty mod at work. We also need to know why the hell did you put a mod that needs SKSE when it does not work at all in the 64 format.
  3. There are multiple ways to fix this problem. Turn off every mod you got. Start your game..do the entire annoying tutorial zone and when you leave the cave. Then and only then can you start all your mods. Will this fix the issue? Nope since you get to enjoy the annoying as f*#@ intro that we all seen a million times. But you can finally test the game and see if this CTD issue shows its ugly mug in the open gameworld.Install Alternative start, Start somewhere and test your mod load order in multiple spots in the game to see if the ctd monster is random or does it shows up at random spots in the world. Gotta determine where this issue shows up the most.Once you done both of them, then begins the annoying as f*#@ but it works everytime. Turn off auto save features. Do a manual save once your character jumps off the cart at the intro. Make sure you started in a clean start with zero mod and turn on a mod and repeat the whole alduin attack helgen to the door entrance of helgen and repeat this until you find the mod culprit for screwing you over. This is long, very annoying but it is the most effective way to find what is screwing you over.
  4. Yes. Open Skyrim.ini (My Documents/My Games/Skyrim) and add the following to it: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 Afterward, in that same folder you will see a new folder called Logs. Inside that: Script. Inside Script you will (eventually) find 4 logs. Double click and they should open with notepad or any text editor. Papyrus.0.log is the most recent. At the end of it you will see the last process to happen before the crash. Good Luck Copy pasted this since i am currently to lazy to type all this. But just follow this route My documents/my games/skyrim special edition would the appropriate route.
  5. Just gonna give you a short summary in what mods in your list order are responsible for dropping the fps in the worldmap zone. This does not involve anything that involves inside homes, dungeons or caves. I only wrote notes on mods that i have used in the past that are in your load order. Some of the mods may just need a bit more vram like smim and flora overhaul and others are just very script heavy mods that will tax the game engine to its limits. 6. Yeah, once you meet a character, if by some fluke or removing a mod that changed said character face values. This black face bug will happen and because the data of said actor has been saved into the save itself. Nothing much can be done to save said character other then starting a new game. This will reset all the parameters of the npc actor's to its original value until you meet em. Kinda why a lot of modders who change npc faces often recommend you start a new game to prevent the black face issue.
  7. Instead of trying to make the game work with 200 mods. Try and limit yourself to just 60-70 active plugins. You can put texture mods that do not have any added plugins to activate em. You will notice the game will run much smoother, faster, lesser lag and will have a better gaming experience. If you gotta have armors. Only go with armor mods your character will be using like almost 100% of the time. If you ain't gonna use a armor mod or a weapon in a game session deactivate em before you start a new game. The less plugins active the better the game will be. Sorry it ain't a perfect solution but the game engine of skyrim SE even if its more stable is still just a awful engine when it comes to dealing with mods that have script. You got a insane amount of mods that add scripts by a huge amount and the game engine cannot handle it. It's not a question of not having enough vram or just ram. It's just the limitation of a very old outdated papyrus engine that cannot handle the stress. Also i notice you are using immersive armor + rigmor. Remove rigmor it will cause a ctd with immersive armor if you start a new game. This has been mentioned many times in the forum during the last month. Another issue you can try and get it fixed would be to activate the logs and post the log 0 of when you crash. See if you can determine the last few scripts to detect the culprit responsible for messing the save. Sometimes it could just be a script from a vanilla quest that went crazy because a quest mod you added messed with the vanilla setting.
  8. Feels like the weapon does not have meshes or textures thus causing a ctd or a conflict with another mod. First what is the weapon gladius that you are using. Did you check said mod forum to see if folks complained that they also had issues with it?
  9. Just install alternate start to just skip the annoying intro scene and go straight into the meat of the game.
  10. This can have multiple interpretations. Have you installed ANY mods from old skyrim that has BSA FILES from old skyrim mods? This means did you went and downloaded mods from the old skyrim nexus or from the adult website you gotta google to get them adults mods? Running old bsa files that did not get converted into script files into the new edition format will cause this very issue. Did you install any mods that requires running bodyslide before you start the game and got the right squeleton for said armor mods that needs xpms + hdt high heels? This will also cause a crash at start. Did you run loot to notice if you lack any mods to make another mod work in the first place? This also can cause a ctd at start.Alright those are 3 possibles scenario's. This is the best method to fix those issues. First you turn off all of your mods, but keep alternative start. Start a new game and make a clean save. Turn on 1 or several mods. Make a list of all the mods you activated and keep doing so till you crash. Once you found the guilty mod. Do some research in said mod. See if the mod author in his nexus page mentionned if it had any patches or wrote that it had compatibility issues and see if you got mods that are part of said list. Remove said mod and use clean save to ensure your save is cleaned from any orphan scripts.
  11. Turn off all mods Start a new game + alternative start so we can skip the big annoying cutscene. Go to the ctd area and save, this will be your clean test save. Talk with trader to make sure it all works just fine. Turn the game off. Turn on a mod and go and sart test save and speak to the trader. Repeat until you crash. Once you find the responsible mod please post the problematic mod in the nexus forum of said mod to get the mod author to fix his or her mod.
  12. It is a normal effect when your game runs out of vram or ram outright. Takes a while before the body reappears but usually just need to switch to a different cell like entering a house or leaving it. You installed a huge amount of mods that eat ram like no tomorrow. The game engine can't process all that at once so it will do some hick ups from time to time so you gotta live with it.
  13. You gotta remove every mod from the skyrim data folder. You may have installed a mesh or a texture mod that changes something in that very specific cell that causes the ctd in the first place. Kinda sucks but you might have to reinstall skyrim completely. Install 1 mod at a time from that list order and test the game until you get the ctd to occur to determine the culprit. Even if they are deemed safe. Some mods will run in conflict with other mods and cause a ctd due to multiple factors like a broken level list in gear, bad meshes or dirty edits.
  14. Use a save cleaner to fix your save from the orphan script from removing the problematic mod. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031/? Instructions See the Videos section for more detailed instructions. Getting started: Unzip the SkyrimTools archive somewhere. Double-click on ReSaver.exe. Choose your savegame. You should see a tree structure that has all of the save's script elements. The #1 thing that most people need is to remove script instances that are not attached to anything. Go to the "Clean" menu and select "Show Unattached Instances". This will filter the list and show only the script instances that aren't attached to anything. Go to the "Clean" menu and select "Remove Unattached Instances". Save to a new file. Load your savegame in Skyrim and make sure it's working properly.
  15. Might help if you simply turn off all the mods. And only activate the game with enb+ reshade. This will test if your vanilla skyrim can handle the enb+ reshade, After you managed to get that to work. Then it becomes a simple test of activating 1 mod at a time until the game crashes to determine the culprit. Still i checked your load order and it seems very similar to my own so i am kinda clueless as to what could have broken the game so to speak. You might need to use LOOT to better place all the mods in the right load order. Also another thing about using old mods. DO NOT USE ANY THAT USES BSA FILES FROM OLDRIM. This will crash the game before you even launch the game so to speak. Do not install any mod that requires SKSE for any reason because this will also wreck your game.
  16. Did you try to just load to a prior save like a hour earlier and redo the quest to see if its just a broken quest occurrence? You could just disable the npc. Setstage da10 200 and just use player.additem 223e3 1 to get the mace and skip the whole quest.
  17. Look at this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76949/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D76949%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Scroll down and see the picture where it adds a crafting table in the interior's layout of dragonreach. Because this mod may not have been upgraded to the SEE meshes format, the game cannot handle those new crafting enchanting table and thus causes a CTD effect to occur.
  18. The best way to fix your issues is to start fresh with no mods. Then install 1 mod at a time and test out the game with it for a few hours. Notice nothing bad is happening? Then install 1 new mod and repeat this process until you CTD. I believe you may have multiple mods that are in conflict with each other and may have permanently broken your current game. Some mods cannot work when you start a new game so you gotta turn those off and then you can turn em on..once you are done with the whole making a character and choosing what new path via alternative start. I know using immersive armors + one of the mods in that list of yours is a huge no no when it comes to starting a new game. I just can't recall it at the time.
  19. Usually a good eye fix would be to just use showracemenu via the console to reset the eyes? Another thing would be to never use invisible potions or spells so you don't get the glitch in the first place. A working mod that fixed that issue all requires Skse.
  20. The current wyre bash that was meant for SEE got taking down from the nexus site for some unknown reason. You may find some information about how the vanilla version could work if you google it.
  21. Run admin mode vial left clicking on the nexus icon. This will work if given enough time.
  22. Ok, just need to be clear on a few things. 1. Did you do the windows updates and gpu drivers? 2. Was this the very FIRST time you turned on the game? 3. If you answered yes on 2. Why the hell would you put mods in a game that has not even been tested to see if it was working fine in its vanilla state? 4. Turn off all the mods. Delete em if you have to. You need to work on a vanilla platform that works before you can start modding.
  23. You must mean MCM, sadly this is a part of the functions that SKSE gives in the old skyrim. It is not available yet but the skse team is currently working in porting said function to the new skyrim special edition. Just gonna have to be patient till they finish the work in hopefully a month from now. :geek:
  24. It may be due to a bug from a mod that could have changed your faction into one that is hostile to the guards? Remove the mods that change the AI scripts. Start a new game save or load a prior save before you did those custom quests and see if that fixes it.
  25. You may have dirty edits that might require cleaning dawnguard nav meshs with SSEEdit . It won't save your save but it might help in a new game since the corruption is already set in. Short of downloading a previous save that is a few hours prior and using setstage to bypass the whole process of collecting them blue shard pieces and go straight and do the quest and see if it is just a broken nav mesh. You can also just bypass the whole mess and just setstage the quest to 200 and just forget completing the quest legally if you are deadset on wanting to finish the broken quest and remove it from the journal.
