  1. Any mods that changes the mouth or the jaw placement by replacing their teeth meshes+textures may cause slowdowns or them npc's mouth won't open when they speak. Any changes in the ini files to speed up the papyrus engine can also cause a bug when it comes for npc's to talk before their mouths open.
  2. Comes from the quest waking nightmare ID: DA16. This quest is infamous for having a nasty effect when accomplishing it. The magic barrier is mainly a glitch that can corrupt a save game. Sorry but you gonna have to restart your game to before you did that quest near Dawnstar. The only fix that exists when doing said quest..is to not save at all and not to die in the dungeon itself. Just cheat and bypass that quest via setstsage Da16 200.
  3. Do not mix Perfect Legionnaire - Full Helmet.esp=1 with immersive armor. It causes major ctd issues when immersive level list armor comes into play. Turn off and remove perfect legion. Hell most of the folks complaining about dragonreach ctd over the last week all have been using this specific mod with immersive armor. There has also been reports that Realistic Lighting Overhaul that changes the interior of buildings lights to cause ctd due to how the improve game engine runs things differently. Check the forums for similar posts detailing how folks have fixed the dragonreach ctd bug. So yeah you got 2 ctd prone mods that will wreck your save file. Turn em off and find something else until they are patched. Edited. This mod Equippable Tomes.esp=1 is also know to possibly cause a ctd in dragonreach.
  4. Turn this off EnhancedLightsandFX.esp. Folks have complained in previous posts that this was the culprit. If that does not work. Then you gotta do it the hard fun way. It's called turning every mod to off and turn em on 1 by 1 and enter dragonreach in a NEW SAVE until you get a ctd. Gotta do it potentially 144 times.
  5. Noticed you got this Perfect Legionnaire - Troops Re-equipment.esp=1. Turn it off. That mod is not compatible with any mods that changes gear via gear level lists like Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp=1 . Mixing those 2 mods is a invitation for a disaster. I would say throw away perfect legion because immersive armors also gives the same cool legion armor or something that resembles it.
  6. Turn off all the mods except alternative life. If the crashing persists. You might have to uninstall all the mods and reinstall em 1 by 1 and restart the game over and over until you find the mod responsible for causing the mess in the first place. There might be a mod being not compatible with the loading cell of alternative life dungeon that is causing said ctd.
  7. We need to know the papyrus last logs. See if there is a error that keeps repeating every time when you cross at the exact same spots or when you do a certain task like aiming with a bow or if its 100% random. Some mods may mess up with vanilla quests and cause ctd later on and will be getting worse and worse as time goes on.
  8. Turn off unofficial skyrim special edition. Turn off jk whiterun + 2017 textures. Start a whole new game. Walk around in the troublesome area's and inspect if the visual glitch is still there. If nothing is there good. Now go and start only 1 of those mods at a time and walk around in each of the zones where you noticed the issues you stated. Repeat said process until you find the culprit and terminate the son of a b&@*$ by removing said mod from your load order.
  9. Just post the list of all the mods. Use loot to properly setup the mod in the best optimal order. Clean the dirty edits in the update, dawnguard and other dlc. Also remember the one of the first rules of modding. NEVER remove a mod during the gameplay specially script heavy mods are in play, the orphan scripts will mess up the save and cause a corruption save. I still don't know if there are currently functioning save cleaners that can aid in fixing that because the new saves are all compressed to take less space. A example of scripted mods can be adventure mods, expansion mods. mods that replaces in game mechanics in the game menus or change a npc AI script routine. Weather mods can also be script heavy that can slow down because the rain or snow particles might have been increased for immersive purposes and that can tax the game engine. Go and restart a new game, with alternative life. some textures terrain mods, animation replacements if you like enjoy those, favorite armors. Run around a bit and see if there is any slowdowns and slowly add 1-2 mods at a time and repeat this until you hit that sweet spot before the slowdowns start. You have to see and judge just how far you can go before you notice a dip in the fps. Take a note of that when it happens and then make a choice what mods to remove to increase the fps. Might help to decrease god rays from high to very low.
  10. It just means your game ran out of ram or vram and that you needed a better 3d card with more vram. Reduce the amount of mods that make the game super pretty with all them 4k textures with something that uses 1k or less.
  11. Remove as many script intensive mods that slow down the papyrus engine. You can keep the texture type mods that replaces the terrain, dungeons or vanilla clothes or armor mods or even animation mods just fine. The less intensive script mods you got, the more stable the game will be. And try to and keep the load order to below 100 mods if possible. Merge the armors and weapons mods to reduce the amount to a strict minimum.
  12. Go to the loading save and pick to show all character folder then pick early the saves by their earliest date marker. or something. That's the only known method to see the old saves if they don't show up.
  13. Start a new game with zero mods. Go to Dragonreach. Save your game. This will be your clean save. Make a back up if needed. Activate 1 mod at a time. Get into dragonreach, if it has no ctd. Good then proceed with closing the game and activate 1 new mod at a time along with the other activated mods you activated prior and repeat this process till you get a ctd. You got WAAAAY to many mods. So this process is gonna suck but this is the best method to figure out what is wrong. The other method is activate the papyrus logs and read the script via notepad and verify what mod is causing the glitch at the last line of log when the game commits seppuku to the desktop.
  14. You added a male animation mod or added a behavior animation file and forgot to convert them to skyrim SE animation format. Remove the animations files from old skyrim, they could be the core issue of the problem. The easiest method is just to go to the meshes/actor/character/animation and delete the offending animations that causes the T-pose. Since you stated that only males animations were responsible for this issue. Just delete the animations on the male folder. You need to download the creation kit tools. Download a animation converter file and convert the old animations into the new format to make em functional. Google it to find it.
  15. Can you post if you are using any animations walking mods that modify the walk of the npc's? This seems to be a animation movement that could be a issue. If that is the case, then you ought to change said animations with something that won't cause such a clipping issue. Second solution is to download bodyslide unp, download a unp file for those vanilla clothes and replace em.
  16. Post the list of mods you got installed. One of em must have replaced accidentally the meshes of the chest resulting to the purple color of the chest since replacing the meshes of a object without textures attached to it can also result to the purple coloring bug.
  17. Unique border gate mod. I have read in other similar posts prior that this mod you installed was responsible for multiple ctd's. Remove the offending mod. Restart a new game with alternative start. Go and run like a amped up junkie in the zone where you got multiple CTD previously to repeat said error. If you don't crash it means you fixed the mistake. Then retry your old save, repeat the same exercise. If you got any ctd then it's to late your save file is already to corrupted to be saved since removing a mod in a already modded save file is cruising for a bruising in the crashing to desktop department.
  18. It may be that you added far to many hair mods. There was a reason SKSE was needed with race compatibility plugin to fix the racemenu ctd back in oldrim. The hair bug issue back then could just be showing it's ugly face yet again. Please remove all mods that entails hair+skin+body. Pretty much everything that deals with changing character textures. Re post a report of trying to make a female character with zero mods. Then slowly add 1 single hair mod. 1 single skin mod with a max of 2k texture because if you go beyond that..you gonna have to wait a full minute before the female racemenu shows up. Keep the amount of mods to a strict minimum to prevent mod compatibility issues.
  19. Start a new game with all the mods. Go to the smith npc. If you get a ctd. Then you got a mod compatibility issue. Turn off all the mods. Start a new game with alternative life just to cut the time to get into the problematic area. Test the smith ctd issue and if it works or if it still ctd. If you get no ctd problems then you need to pretty much turn on 1 mod at a time until you get a ctd in order to find the culprit.
  20. Could you please, indicate what mods are from old skyrim nexus that have not been imported into the new game? The only one that might be problematic is wetandcold.esp. Even then it might not be that one. I know i had serious issues in some area's with that mod but in the end it was another mod entirely that had to be patched. Also recheck evey mods nexus forums for each one to see if folks complained about hard crashes. Sometimes you just need to see if those mods got patches to get them fixed up.
