  1. specific spells*. 1 - A feather spell that increases your carry weight temporarily. 2 - Phase Shift - You zapped through the air, teleporting 20 foot or so. 3 - Weaken Gravity. - Allowed high jumping for a minute. I believe they were all part of SkyRE. I had and enjoyed SkyRe, gonna Try SPERG + Dual this time, just for variety. None mage character though, so don't need a Big spell package. But I would like those 3 spells, as used them as utilities, mostly to overcome invisible walls, or odd landscapes. Cheers.
  2. Literally just got a bunch of items in an .esp. I'd like it so that when downloaded, users find random Bandits wearing it etc. Can I distribute like this? Or is that only done on the users side by SkyProc patchers and the like? If so are there any guides on how make sure my mod works these and is compatible etc please?
  3. You sound like you're doing the right things. Only thing I can suggest is at the top of NMM is the cogwheels to check the settings, click it, and in the last tab, Skyrim, check that your skyrim directory is linked to the right place- C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim

  6. Well I'm back figured it quite a bit. Probs been going for 20 hours - lol @ me. Anyhoo, some mods are just bad. They plain don't work. I've now succesfuly got 23 armour esp's combined into 1 esp, and yet some others just don't play nice and won't merge. Perhaps Cleaning in TES Edit might help - but I can only fail at one problem at once :P And then for combining files I had to do it one at once. No multiples, just wouldn't work. So I'd RicghtClick 'ArmourModOne' renumber its form Ids to say 111111 Then I'd I'd RightClick 'ArmourModTWO' and renumber its form Ids to 111222. Click into their little expansion + symbols, to open up the file subdirectorys, would then show they were all bolded black (meaning edited). I'd then click any one of these, and press CTRL + A (select all) and it would highlight all of the edits I'd made. Right clicking on one, select deep copy override. I'd name the file 'ArmourMergeOne' or such. Then click the cross to exit, UNTick ArmourModOne and ArmourModTwo, but leave ArmourMergeOne TICKED, so it saves. I'd then start TES Edit up again. And Renumber form ID's of ArmourMerge One. Then renumber ID's of say ArmourModThree. Deep copy overrideinto newfile ArmourMergeTwo. And repeat, 1 file at once, into a new esp file each time. -Not forgetting to remove all master file dependencies from file header bar Skyrim.esm Should be noted it only combines the .esp's! All the texture and meshes you'll need to put together yourself. Hope this helps someone, but I find the process very hit and miss, and not totally guaranteed.
  7. Trying to merge simple armour files, I can get the mesh to show but there's no textures, jsut that purple colour. Now if I have my merged mod active, AND the original mod, then get the armour from both, the texture works on both!! How does that make any sense? I.E. In my inventory I have in my inventory - Originalmod body armour. & Mergedmod body armour. Then both have the right texture, and are separate items with different ID's. However if I disable the original mod (not remove the files or delete, just disable), then my merged mod version has no textures,. How? Why? And how do I fix it please? Tearing my hair out here.
  8. CTD was due to a bad mod, not a bad merge. Anyway I can NOT get this to work, I've read the whole thread, and tried all the various methods, and I can NOT get my merges to work properly, 90% of the time, the items are 'there' but don't show up on my body, or the mesh is there, but there's no textures. This is despite the merge mods showing the exact same paths as the original mods. Even updated TES Edit to 3.029, no better. Just can't get this to work at all, the instructions seem step-by-step detailed enough, they just do not work at all for me on the armour mods I'm trying to merge. That's it, just simple clothing/armour mods.
  9. I can't even merge 2, getting a CTD immediately after the logo before Continue/New/Load/Credits etc pops up. Anyone got an idea?
  10. http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/3783/espsp.jpg Picture of the relevant .esps there They're in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data Are they working? they're esp's that were put there via installer.exe's or my ENB or something, not ones I've manually put there. Are they MEANT to be there and will be working? Or do all esp's have to go in Data folder to have any effect what so ever?

  12. Oh because cleverer people than me in this thread have seemingly narrowed it down to a graphical performance thing, not a scrit//engiene thing. I'm just throwing out potential solutions, to potential causes of 'stutter' there's so many cases of it in Skyrim :( Mine sounded just like yours, but was fixed by a totally different thing. Crazy. I still wish you luck

  14. Might sound stupid but do you have a big over filled inventorry of crap on you or your followers? Try clearing it out. Worked for me, and I'd been banging my head against a brick wall for weeks.
  15. ... Oh Lord, If it's something as simple as a bloated inventory I am going to be soooooo mad. Ive had to traverse to old saves so often, and it's always after crating --- for which I alwasy stick a tonne of crafting mats in my bag, then craft like 40 armours/hands/feet/helmets acccessories etc. Never ever thought inventory could be my bain, fiddled with so many mods! So thank you for posting!

  19. Total nub, but looking to take on a slightly large project. I'd like to learn about leveled lists. How do I take 20 or so custom armors and distribute them among the leveled list to randomly be on people in the game? A post would be great! But I'm assuming there is some tutorials somewhere you can save yourself the time and link me to please? Secondly what is the best tool and tutorial for combining multiple custom armour mods in to one .esp please?

  22. Ii saved in that room, loaded,saved,loaded,saved,loaded and eventually the dialogue kicked in. Then 2 hours later I uninstalled that mod. It's coded terribly and barely works. They talk about doing X and ensuring Y - but basically MAIDS seems to be incompatible with Skyrim itself i found ¬_¬ I was annoyed too, because the writing was excellent, and those Heroes of Nirn were an amazing fight, loved them. But I had to setstage EVERY quest stage, really annoying n pointless. Sorry for the rant, try the save/load/save/load thing, but be prepared for the rest of the mod to be like that.
