  1. I've been seeing that 'C' as well, though it usually goes away for me once the page fully loads. Using Firefox also.
  2. I've never used this "NVariety" mod but I'm also suffering the same bug. The only mod I have that could be responsible is "Redcliffe Better Siege". Can anyone else confirm this?
  3. Have you tried Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors mod? Link: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/153/
  4. Why not just setup a tactic with a mage that casts Dispel Magic on the character that has been hexed?
  5. The link to the forums on the Dragon Age: Origins Nexus site is currently linking to the wrong forum. Instead of going to the DAO forum, it goes to the Dragon Age 2 forum. The link on the DA2 Nexus works correctly. I've attached a screenshot to clarify what I mean. Note the two areas highlighted in yellow; the "Forums" button at the top-right, and the link it leads to in the bottom-left. The correct link should be this: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/292-dragon-age-origins/ http://oi57.tinypic.com/333fgus.jpg
  6. I went through the wiki prior to posting this thread, actually. Thoroughly, in fact, but I was not able to find anything relating to what I needed. While I already have the info now and have made several mods at this point, I do appreciate the link. Thanks.
  7. After doing some more testing, it seems that "oBow" can be anything. It could say "oFudgeNutSundae" and it would still work. I'm no programmer, so I can't explain why. But at least I know now that it doesn't need to be a specific thing for specific items (e.g. oRing for a ring).
  8. Ahh, that's what the problem was -- status was set to Released. Clearing that allowed me to find it in the search results. +1 Kudos to you for the tip, never would've thought to change that status setting.
  9. I searched for "overwhelm" and found nothing on BSN. Perhaps it has been removed from there as well? Nope. It's still there. Balanced Monster Overwhelm Ability Thanks for the link. Just curious, where exactly were you searching to find it? I was looking here but found nothing.
  10. I searched for "overwhelm" and found nothing on BSN. Perhaps it has been removed from there as well?
  11. I have this script that will add a newly created bow to the player's inventory, which works fine, but I was wondering how I could change it to an axe instead. Specifically, what I mean is there is a line in the script that says "object oBow = GetObjectByTag("asr_nameofbow");" -- what I'm wondering is, how do you know what to put in place of "oBow"? Is there a list of valid values anywhere? For example, I know "oRing" works for rings, but I only discovered that by testing it myself. It would be really handy to have a complete list of values that will work there, instead of having to guess them.
  12. D'oh! You're right... completely missed that in his post. Sorry.
  13. If you have a sword&board warrior with you, have them use Shield Bash on the mob that has you pinned. It will free you. I've read that mages with ice spells can do the same but I haven't tried that.
  14. There's a mod on the Nexus that will give the +10% XP bonus for any bed you sleep in. I don't recall the name, though.
  15. They'd have to create entirely new meshes because of their unique head shape, but yeah, if they made their own work from scratch it could be possible.
  16. Considering that The Last of Us is a console-exclusive, that alone pretty much makes it impossible. Another reason it can't be done is that it's copyrighted content, you can't just port it into another game like that -- at least, you can't according to the Nexus rules.
  17. I've never had it interfere with any quests, and I've used it for several years now. In what way did it interfere for you? Do you just mean that you went around willy-nilly recruiting quest NPCs and were surprised when that broke something? Because that's not technically the mod's fault... you just shouldn't recruit quest NPCs.
  18. You should get the mod called "Sharing and Caring Companions". With it, you can make anyone a companion just by speaking to them. It has all the companion commands, they can be made essential, you can even tell them how to fight (melee, ranged, or versatile which mixes both). You can give them weapons, armor, and stimpaks that they'll actually use in combat sometimes. Though you can't set a home, you can tell them to "just make yourself at home" and they'll hang out and interact with whatever area you're in -- your Megaton home for example. 19. Because you don't need to type "player"... the command is just setownership and nothing else.
  20. I know this thread is a little old but there is a mod that replaces the default underwear with a type3 version. Available here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/14862/ EDIT: Holy crap, sorry. I saw the 2014 post above me and assumed this was a fairly recent thread... turns out someone necro'd a thread from 2009. My apologies.
  21. Wow, that does sound a little more difficult than I expected. I just tested it out in-game and it looks great, it's exactly what I wanted. So much nicer without that stupid metal sheet there. Thank you so much! Whenever I release the mod (it's a small player home for new characters), I'll be sure to give you credit. Thanks again, prensa! :D And here's a screenshot so everyone can see the result of your work: http://oi59.tinypic.com/53ahye.jpg
  22. I'm looking for someone that can edit an existing Fallout 3 static mesh for me. Nothing too complicated. I just want someone to remove a metal sheet laying across the floor of a wooden shack. The mesh is located in Meshes\Architecture\Wasteland and is called woodshackpile01.nif. If someone could do that for me, that would be fantastic. Again, I just want the metal sheet removed. The wooden planks can remain. Here's a screenshot showing the metal sheet I'd like removed: http://oi62.tinypic.com/2rm39ck.jpg

  24. Well, someone managed to add usable cars/trucks to New Vegas, so maybe a ridable mechnical horse could be added.
  25. Giddyup Buttercup is a children's toy horse, not a real horse. Unless you're asking for a very strange mod, it wouldn't make any sense for them to be "roaming around the wastes". http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Giddyup_Buttercup
