  1. The CK will not let me login and it has been doing this for months, despite trying literally everything (password changes, uninstall and reinstall, contacting Bethesda who surprise surprise were no help). I'd really like to port some of my mods over to console on my own page, yet I'm not getting anywhere and it's driving me insane. Have any of you had this error, and if so, how did you fix it? Edit: my Bethesda and steam accounts are linked etc etc
  2. A fun interview, and I love that you love chickens. I think they're freaking awesome <3
  3. In response to post #43132390. #43137955, #43140015, #43141260, #43141455, #43141635, #43144950 are all replies on the same post. Go to the files drop down, then to download history. You can endorse all of the files you've downloaded by clicking on the thumbs up icon, instead of waiting for the reminder pop up which hardly ever comes up.
  4. Interesting - I had no idea about the history of both mod managers/organisers! Good luck with everything, I'm excited to see the final product :)
  5. Exactly as it says in the title. I downloaded scot's awesome Dogmeat as Babes the pet rat because I have pet rats of my own, but it didn't work for me so I investigated and managed to fix it (models in wrong place etc), but Babes still won't attack - I've tried running into a fight and also issuing the command to attack and Babes runs away. Does anyone know what exactly I may need to change in Fallout 4 Edit to fix it? I'm hoping to get Babes fully functioning so I can send it to scot to upload if they want to :)
  6. Unfortunately, that's how a lot of CBBE meshes wrap around breasts. There isn't really any way of avoiding it.
  7. Hi! I've been working on a Homewares mod and whilst all of the furniture and rugs work, I am having an issue with some of the static items. They show up fine in the menus, however after placing them the game will CTD a couple of seconds later. I tried fiddling with the object bounds in Nifskope, but that didn't help. They are edits of vanilla items, so when I did the copy as new record into from vanilla items I used the original items to try and keep as much data as possible as for the most part they are just recolours. I am also not running any mods that change the categories (Homemaker etc) of the settlement build menu. If anyone is willing to help, I am more than happy to send over the mod files (I've also got a tonne more folders for static stuff but removed them as I couldn't get them working so any guidance or suggestions are more than welcome - this was going to be a 50+ file mod). Thanks for your time!
  8. You nailed this on the effing head. I wanted to share my mods (that didn't use other people's assets) on Bethesda.net because I was excited that console users could finally get awesome mods but after this f*#@ery I'm not even thinking about Bethesda.net until they get their shiz together. I browsed the site a few days back and saw upwards of 10 stolen mods with people claiming 'they saw it on the nexus and wanted to do something similar' but it's the exact same thing - files, textures, screenshots, everything. Bethesda need to get their community manager to manage the community or take the whole thing down until they can formulate something that works. What's the saying, don't half ass lots of things - whole ass one thing!
  9. Don't see how that helps at all, because that's a completely different problem. You're trying to save an alpha: OP wants to grab the alpha to use as a mask. Oh, well I'm sorry then. I just know that when you get the white instead of transparent stuff it's usually an issue with how the file is opened/saved. I was just trying to help.
  10. Hey guys. So I have been working on a small player home, and everything works perfectly except for the fact that no matter what time of day it is, it's blindingly bright in the interior like there are 20 lights on despite the fact that there are no lights on at all. Is this something I can fix in the CK? What am I doing wrong?
  11. Hey! :) I'm sorry if you've figured this out already, but I had the same issue and eventually sorted it on my own so I thought maybe I can help with some screens of what I did? Ok so if you're using the Intel Texture Works plugin, when you open the .dds file you need to go to File> Open As> then navigate to the desired file. Click once on the file, then open it as an Intel Texture Works File like this (you may need to scroll up or down when selecting the file type - the ITW file is at the top of the drop down file list for me - also press no if you get the mip maps thing pop up you shouldn't have to worry about that I never do): http://i68.tinypic.com/11rf2iu.jpg Then when you open it, it should still have the transparent/alpha channels instead of replacing it with white (which happens when you open it just as a plain .dds file). After you've worked on it and want to save it again, go File > Save As (make sure you are saving as an Intel Texture Works File again - NOT plain dds) and you should get this pop up: http://i64.tinypic.com/2vcail1.jpg You can leave everything as is, but with the texture type box you want to select Colour + Alpha (like I've hovered the mouse over). Press ok, and then it should be saved with the transparency! :)
  12. I have a cropped sleeveless one in my Camo Fatigues outfit in my Wanderer Fashion pack here. As Emissary said, I did it by editing the alpha channel (basically just erasing the sleeves).
  13. I agree. I mean, I can see the appeal in them, but I've never utilised them in game.
  14. Imaarwyn as well as SootDirt are currently working on different versions of dual/dip dye/ombre hair colours :)
  15. Thank you so much! I think... I think I'm just going to avoid the neon letters. Lol.
  16. Hi there! I'm working on some exteriors on Goodneighbor in the CK, and I've added some of the neon letters from Wasteland Workshop to one of the walls, however I cannot get them to light up in game. Every other light I've added (light FX included etc) works but I just can't figure out how to get the neons working. Do I need to add a power source onto the wall or something?? What one would it be? I'd appreciate any help - I'm new to any version of the CK. Thank you!
  17. In response to post #37050885. Mine too.
  18. Survival difficulty is currently unable to run with mods installed. Uninstall of your mods, then launch the game - it should work then!
  19. !!! Thank you so much!!! Yeah, from what I hear, the cbbe works great! I don't use cbbe either so I didn't want to tackle it in case I broke something, lol. All 12 outfits are up for vanilla AND cbbe now :D
  20. I'd also suggest the mod above, unless you wanted the colour of the Battlecoat changed too?
