  1. Try running in windowed mode and see if you have the same problem.
  2. Your welcome. Yes now just reactivate your mods one at a time (activate one then start the game to make sure it still works then quit and go to the next one.) Keep doing this until you find out which mod caused the problem then let us know which one it was.
  3. Try moving all but your last save out of your saves folder to a different location and try again. If that doesn't work then move them all, leaving an empty save folder and start a new game to see if you can save then.
  4. Verifying your cache should replace all the vanilla files but I have no idea where all your esps went.
  5. Read through this - http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/518251-graphics-problem-no-fire-effects/ and give it a try.
  6. It means you have 1gb VRAM and 3gb shared system RAM dedicated to video. AA really shouldn't prevent loading but try turning everything down to Low settings to see if the game loads.
  7. Yes, I believe you just un-check them in NMM ( I don't use it yet but that's the way it worked in FOMM and OBMM) but any mods that make ini changes or add files to the Skyrim folder itself may have to be disabled manually. Anyone know for sure? (I'm not going to install NMM until after the CK is released as I'm only using texture mods at the moment and I haven't installed any esp/esm mods yet.)
  8. "My Documents". This can't be the first time you've used Steam unless you're using a cracked copy of the game. Go to your Steam account, click Library, right click the game, click Properties, click Local Files, click Verify Cache and give it time to run through your files to replace lost/corrupted ones.
  9. This will explain it - http://www.articlewritingclicks.com/Windows_Errors/Ntdlldll_Crash_Faulting_Module_Error_in_Windows__Fixing_Guide.html - [but I wouldn't download the program it offers as I can't vouch for it, just read through it.] First see if your FXAA mod has been updated to the new patch or try a different one (remembering to delete all the files from the original one first.) If that Dll really is corrupted you can either reinstall Windows (lots of no fun there!) or just replace (overwrite) the corrupt one with a new one. This is one place to download a new Dll.dll to place in the correct Windows folder - http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?ntdll - I've used this site before and found it safe. There's no particular reason to D/L their program unless you really want it so just use the second D/L button - "Download Zip-File".
  10. Make sure 360 Controller is enabled in your game options and try different USB ports on your rig if it is.
  11. Okay, try this then - Go to your My Documents/My Games folder. Copy your saves to a safe location. Copy your inis to a safe location. Delete your Skyrim folder (the whole thing, including the folder itself.) Go online to Steam and verify your cache (do this part a couple of times one after the other, giving it enough time to download the files.) Disable any mods you have that make ini changes. (Or just all your mods to be safe.) Copy your saves back to the Skyrim/Saves folder. Start the game to see if this has corrected it. [if you had custom settings in your old ini.] DO NOT copy your inis back but open both your SkyrimPrefs (old and new) side by side for comparison. Make a single change (from the old to the new) and start the game to make sure everything is still okay, exit the game, rinse and repeat. Reload your mods one at a time, starting the game again each time to check that it's still working. Good luck!
  12. Not much consolation but I had the same issue when I updated to the latest patch too and attempted all the usual fixes to no avail. I didn't look into it any further though because it was just easier to copy back my original 1.1 version and continue to play the game. ( First rule of Beth/Steam open world gaming : Always go to offline mode after you enter your product key at installation then copy your game folder to a safe location and don't go back online for patches until you see how they're working out. That way, when you do patch, if you find you're one of people that encounter problems it's a simple copy/paste to regain your sanity!)
  13. In that case you may want to reinstall your audio drivers as Skyrim seems to be tough on a lot of different drivers.
  14. If you use a gaming mouse with a driver try reinstalling the driver (they can become corrupted just like video drivers) as well as opening it up and cleaning out any crud or debris. If the mouse is old then the contacts may be failing and it may be time to think about a new one. If it's wireless then check the batteries as well as the USB connections. Wiping down the connectors with a Q-tip and some alcohol periodically could also help.
  15. You can try this mod - http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6076 - I can't vouch for it though since I'm still using 1.1.
  16. The only part of that guide I haven't tried yet is Ambient Occlusion and the shadow tweaks (I just turned mine down to medium in the game and live with it.) So try going back and turning off AO first and see if that fixes it then change the shadow tweaks back and check that.
  17. Use only one or the other though, not both at the same time.
  18. Hmm, how about verifying the integrity of your game cache on Steam? (Never hurts to reinstall drivers anyway though.)
  19. Check your monitor settings to see if they've been changed and clean sweep and reinstall your video drivers.
  20. If you're using the mod 'Glowing Ore Veins' then upgrade it to the latest version.
  21. Try logging back into your Steam account and verifying your cache to see if that fixes it.
  22. Use either Skyboost or the acceleration layer, not both. However SKSE itself and Script Dragon are supposed to be able to coexist okay.
  23. You can also try clean sweeping your video drivers and reinstalling them.
  24. I left a request at skyranger-1's FONV Stutter Remover mod page to see if he could port it to Skyrim with SKSE but it appears he's been inactive (possibly just waiting for the CK as so many other modders are doing.) FYI- NVSR was broken after the final FONV patch but he did upload a compatible patch so it's back in the running there again.
  25. @DarkSoul1977 - You seem to have uncovered a (hopefully) unusual fix for ATI/AMD cards - manufacturing defects. One would hope that your problem is not particularly widespread but it's something that others should at least check out on their own rigs. Depending on the type of thermal paste used it can either be electrically conductive or capacitive. Conductive should show up rather quickly but capacitive could remain hidden for quite a while until certain games' GPU intensity could trigger a discharge. Very interesting.
