[CTD + texture problems]

The problem is getting the OK from Ahztek. Many of our gifted modders arent here anymore.

 

Impact data makes the guns hit pretty damned hard. a 50 cal puts a bloody hole in you.

 

Brighter muzzle flashes is as it sounds,bright muzzle flash.

 

Game gets finicky with many comps that are vanilla.

I Have the same issues. Im not a master mod guy or anything but, I did build my PC. Im about 8 deep now and I know its not hardaware issues... I just installed FOMM and if I could get it to work I would love it to death.

 

When I start the game using FOMM it goes black screen but at least I get the error. I do have to Ctrl/alt/delete to shut it out though.

 

Do I need to patch it to get FOMM to work. I installed "Secret Hideout" and it did the same thing as when I installed N-Skies... I Know they went in correctly but the game wont start unless I uncheck them.

 

Any advice would be helpful and GREATLY appreciated...

I had high sci,repair,lockpick and disabled the robots and swapped the laser wires around. Not too hard. the proxy detectors are anoyyng tho.

Apparently Skyrimm has dual wielding abilities.

 

So maybe the next Fallout will have it.

 

Use forum search tho. Someone DOES have a working dual wield going(video of him showcasing it actually a few on with swords the other dual 9mm SMGs along with animated clothing)

Well,theres a guy running around trying to get the OK from Ahztek to overhaul it using his mod called CASE. But I dunno,AWO NEEDs high settings else they goof up,but yeah its pretty unstable with the latest patches

Probably missing a master file or improperly installed or no FOMOD.

[So what happened to Book of Earache?]

Earache and the guys who worked with Earache didnt like the way things went here on the Nexus..and I sort of agree with it. He was banned at his request and had taken down his files.

 

TBH,many of the great modders that many of us remember,such as Earache and Dreadwolf have vanished. Hell,all of DWs gun mods are gone now. Pity cause they were the best mods.

 

Vaguely recall the 21st Cent team saying that they dont want anymore assets put in NV and all that or something.

 

Summed up in 20 words or less

 

They felt that the moding community wasnt caring about the mods or the spirit,but the fame of doing it.

 

Long explanation from what I remember and read a long time ago

 

Basically someone was flinging poo and flagging a lot of mods citing that they were using stolen assets or something or it was somebody forgot to say thanks in the credits. Was a huge debate or something and they said that the community sucks now and everyones not modding to mod,but to get lucky and famous or something. (I think they ment that people wanted to compete with the big mods,BoE,Willow AWoP etc) and the poo flinging was their way of pulling the well put tgeather mods down and putting up the not so good ones so theyd get the recognition. Was a real shame when Earache left,but hes on another mod site. PM me if you want it,have it favorited so I can get updates.

Cut some mods. Fallout is finicky and since Bethsoft cant code worth s*** you may wanna cut some out and make sure all mods are up to date.

Nobody has been actve lately with Skyrim,MW3,and BF3. With the frustrations mounting in FNV I think that most will leave to other games that arent as buggy as all hell.

 

 

I get this issue too. Had this issue since release. Even vanilla.

 

Youd think Bethsoft and Obsidian would fix all the bugs. :wallbash:

Think I fixed. Apparently the latest version of Catalyst Control Centre ATi cards sets the minmap to performance,so everything looks like poop.

AWO tends to cause problems Ive noticed. For reasons beyond me,it caused so much nstability i had to dump it :/

Also the latest one will cause a full system crash. Tried it on my test PC and its horribly unstable. Before update,my Test PC ran decently well,After it,I can barely boot.

Hunting rifle with JSP rounds. I like the AMR but its too valuable and ammo is too scarce with my mods,

Mini Gun or GMG. The GMG is great for extended crowd control,but for softer targets I prefer the mini gun.

The DLC machete I got with the Caravan(is that the right pack?) Pack.

[CTD Entering or Exiting Areas (Few Random)]

I was looking through the other, similar, threads and I've noticed that a lot of us use or have used NVSkies at some point in our installation. I deleted my installation folder, replaced it with a backup I had on hand, and re-installed my mods without it and I've been fine since, except for the random crash every so often.

 

 

I got rid of Nskies and went to Project reality,and strangely,my crashes have started going down too..

 

Also if you can,run the NVErrorFix its a huge help :)

Same issue too,usually means missing mesh files.

 

Coulda been a goof,try reinstalling it and archive invaldating again.
