  1. Exactly. Going into a modpage takes you to the subforums for the mod, not the whole forums. I think having a forum link on the root page would show the community right then and there for anyone who is looking to join the Nexus community.
  2. This won't effect any games bought via the market place? Which I might be the only person to miss this since I used it to chat with my little brother from time to time.
  3. I often come to the site through the http://nexusmods.com site, mainly because that was what I bookmarked originally. I do this because I know that some sites make revenue based off hits, and it's always been a habit of mine to hit the homepage, yet I've noticed with all the mod sites, there was no link to the forum page. I don't think anything flashy would be needed, just a small link down where the About and Contact is would probably be perfect. Forgive me if this has been suggested or this isn't the right way to make such a suggestion.
  4. Mass Effect series Crysis series (1, the kinda half sequel and 2. Have yet to get 3) Jedi Knight Series Assassin's Creed Neverwinter Nights Dragon Age
  5. For PC, it was the Jedi Knight series starting with Dark Forces 2 - those games influenced me so much, I own the entire set twice, once on Steam, so I can play some of the earlier games, and all in hard copy. Console it was the Need for Speed games with my little brother.
  6. I'd love to 'resell' some games I got. Or trade them for something towards newer games.
  7. I'm really glad that this is over. I understand how big this is for Nexus and hope to be here for a while. I'm really impressed with you sharing the financial side and showing where the money goes to. I'm planning to jump to a premium but at the moment the 40-60USD is just out of my range. For the moment. Now I would lke to report a problem: I just tried going to the forums and got this error message. An error occured with the SQL server: This is not a problem with the IPS Community Suite but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above.
  8. One of your mods is probably an italian version and has overwritten your files.
  9. I was getting ready to add radio stations to mine.
  10. I'm thinking it has to do with the server work they've been doing all week. Based off the error, I think they're moving the FONV files at the moment and so the files aren't 'pathed' properly. Just a guess.
  11. The reset is just that. It resets your 1handed back to start and you can level 1handed up again. This creates no level cap anymore (it used to be 80-81) as everytime you level your skills you gain experience to level up. To always level up, you reset your skills and keep going. It has its benefits, ie you put points in a skill you're no longer using - such as you started doing mage but went rogue, so you could reset the magic skills and shift those perk points to a new skill but if you do reset, it does lower the benefits that skill gives you. I hope that makes sense.
  12. This is what is going on - http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1041172-rolling-down-time-this-coming-week-on-all-sites/

    hello

I first came to Nexus a long while a go - I know this because of the silly username that I no longer use elsewhere - too bad it can't be changed but nevr hung around. I couldn't figure out this 'modding' thing. And also my disc copy of Oblivion decided to hate me and never recognize the disc or the code and would crash after the second time running. That and the open world concept of Oblivion confused the heck out of me. So fast forward to me buying Skyrim and getting hooked on that, which led to me liking Fallout 3 and FNV. And once I was able to get Oblvion on Steam I did but I still had a love hate relationship with it. (Still do.) It wasn't until a couple weeks ago when I started poking into the Steam Workshop hat I started using mods. Enhancements to make it prettier...then came the add-ons. Then I realized about Nexus, again, when I wanted cloaks. So I ditched Steam Workshop(mostly. There's one author there I have mods from) and have come to Nexus because they mod a lot of the games I play - the aforementioned, DA:O, DA2, Witcher (1&2), NWN, etc. Anyway, that's long and rambling. Thanks for getting to this point! :D
  14. That looks to my eye like a slim chassis or smaller and in my personal experience those are not easy to get components for to upgrade because space is very limited.
