  4. Hey Nexus, Today I want to discuss a function that was never implanted into Skyrim but was shown at the Game Jam. I'm talking about the Verlet surfaces. (https://youtu.be/L9A6QHLIWg0?t=3m35s) Has anyone attempted adding this into skyrim? Why didn't it work? What do the developers have we don't that we need for this? Also general Game Jam discussion allowed.

  9. So in the top right corner there is a option called 'more' if you hover over it you can select 'subscribe on YouTube' however the account has been terminated so I suggest to either create a new account and link it or remove the YouTube option all together.

  14. Try using Oblivion Reloaded with its Ram disk option. this should help performance also post your OSR settings. also no need to reinstal the game also post your oblivion.ini settings

Hey Nexus, So when I try to play the game through obse.exe I CTD when I press play in the oblivion launcher it tells me "The oblivion executable could not find the oblivion executable please reinstall the game" But this is BS I played in yesterday and it was working fine. my guess is something in the windows registry got mest up where is the value I need to edit? my oblivion is locaed in D:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion

  18. Yes its SDR which is causing it of that i'm sure. Check the INI file you might be able to disable it
  19. Don't use NMM for oblivion modding. Use Wrye Bash or Oblivion Mod Manager Also OCO requires OBSE so be sure you are starting the game with the OBSE loader
  20. I believe OBGE V3 LLod did this not sure due. Anyways raising ugrids will make the game render more terrain instead of LOD also OR (Oblivion Reload) makes the LOD better I belive. also you can install http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/20053/? so that objects can be seen from distant (do not forget to run Tes4LodGen) check this: http://testg.wikidot.com/oblivion:lods

  22. Morroblivion requires you to own both oblivion + Morrowind and its expansions (which I do) and so I see no reason why this woulden't be discusses on the nexus.

So i really want to play Morrowind and decided i would do it on oblivion's newer engine and so decided i would play play morroblivion unfortunate after downloading the rar for the BSA twice i keep getting purple textures. Where can i get the missing files? winrar said nothing about the file's being damaged or anything like that and its the 2de time i've downloaded it and still getting some missing textures, what can i do? Oke yes yes i understand modding TES is a old and great tradition which we all cherry deeply and part of it is that modders share there work on the nexus free and publicly, Then steam game along with there paywall option and some modders decide do actually start charging people for there mods. Now before we start bashing the Modders for choosing to do so look at the facts: Against pay wall: 1. Modding has always been free. 2. micro transactions are never good 3. Modders have the option to enable being able to receive donations 4. Mod "x" relies on rescources which are not his/hers and yet dares to ask money for them. For pay wall: 1. We are not privileged to getting free mods, we bought the game that allows gives us the privileged to use/make mods but does not mean every modder now owns us there mod. modders don't own us s*** they choose to share there mod with us and i believe its provided 'as it is' and don't need to meet any criteria. 2. These small money rewards might actually motivate people into doing this the have not prior to getting paid for doing so do. It might make people make better/ContentRicher mods that he/she might not have found worth making in his own free time in exchange for nothing (yes lets call endorsements nothing for now) 3. Making something then allowing everyone to use it with no strings attached is great and while making the thing itself might be called a reward on it self considering you learned and probably enjoyed doing it (most modders mod because the actually enjoy doing so) some might not consider it a reward regardless the fact is that the amount of time/donation is verry low 3. using resources from other modders who have given permission to the modder to do so and including them in your paid-to-get mod is not really a issue since that said modder has not raised objection to this matter. Please do add more 'cons/pros' and feel free to discuss the already mentioned one. also: please refrain from bashing the mod author in this thread or as the mods/admins are concerned: on the nexus
