  1. Well you could always try the God Rays mod I suppose. Though I don't know where you could find a download link for it. There are a lot of videos demonstrating the mod and you could always look it up and see if it's worth your time. Either way, if you decide you want to use it and somehow find a link to download the said mod, you'll need Oblivion Graphics Extender v2, which can be found everywhere, just google it if you have to. Whether or not it'll cause conflicts with your current mods I can't answer that. Also, I've never tried the Oblivion Graphics Extender, but the Morrowind Graphics Extender didn't work well (for me) on Windows 7 or Vista, but worked fine on an xp machine. I don't know if the Oblivion Graphics Extender will be the same way or not. On a final note; you should make sure you have a top notch computer with atleast 4 gigs of RAM if you want to run the mod. Apparently the mod uses a lot of memory and isn't for slow machines. Good luck and hope that helps =)
  2. An FAQ? Umm no way lol. I have pretty much no more free time anymore, and I don't know how to write in FAQ format lol. Come to think of it, the only FAQ I ever did was of Yoshi's Island for the SNES YEARS ago, so yeah, no more FAQs for me :) Nevertheless, I *do* appreciate the positive feedback though :P
  3. Okay sorry about the long wait. It's a been a long and stressful week and this is the first time I've been able to actually take the time to sit down and post. Anyways, I have the guide, I made some modifications to it, since it didn't make much sense when I read it myself. I had after all originally made it for myself so I basically redid the whole thing. That all being said, I'll send it to Voivode, and if there is anyone else that wishes to know the method of gaining ridiculously high levels, then just message me and I'll send it to you.
  4. Well I mentioned earlier that power leveling to extremely high leveling is pointless in a couple of my earlier posts on this thread. The only reason I'm here discussing it is simply to see how high we can go. So I guess in a sense we are suckers for punishment xD Well atleast I am ;D
  5. Uhh yeah....I could've told you that, what we're trying to do is figure out if its possible to get that high without cheating. Some of us have come pretty close.
  6. Well alright then, I'll send you my guide, Its a bit lengthy so please bare with me. Also, its not so much a guide as it is a step by step guide of how I got to 240 so it may be a bit linear. But if you're buddy is interested so be it. I've no problem with that. Apparently DeathRaze is making me send the guide anyways because he's to "lazy" to have made one himself :P
  7. Hmm well the custom hair i'm using partly covers that half of her mouth where the teeth are missing. I guess I'll just try a new hair and see if that works. Thanks I really appreciate it
  8. Let me just get right down to it. I made a mod (for my own use) that puts a cute elf in the Arch Mage's tower council and she will sell you spells. I decided to voice over all the dialogue because there were none for the race and plus I figured it would be cool to have my voice in the game. Anyways, that being said, the mod works perfectly fine, except that when I talk to her, she is missing her teeth on one half of her mouth, and I can't figure out why. The lip movements are fine, she's just literally missing her teeth on one half of her mouth. Additional Info: I used Wrye Bash to esmify CuteElf11.esp and made my own mod the active file. When starting Oblivion, I'd always espify the CuteElf11.esp and then play. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Is there anyway to voice over rumour dialogue? I'm making a custom race and I want to do the voice overs. I've had no problems doing everything I need, but I can't figure out how to voice over the rumour topic. It doesn't show up in the quest tab or dialogue bubble in the cs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Okay well what about question 1? Does anyone know how to voice over rumor dialogue?
  11. Okay, I have two questions that I have tried googling, and looking on various forums, having found nothing, I'm asking them here. Question 1: I understand how to make dialogue and use voice overs, generate .lip files and whatnot. I understand all of that and the processes involved in doing that stuff, what I want to know is, is it possible to edit and voice over rumor dialogue and if so how? because I have looked at the filtered dialogue for NPCs, looked at the actual dialogue bubble, and used the quest tab and I cannot find rumor dialogue. (I don't want to edit the actual text, I'm just making a custom race and want to do the voice overs completely.) Any help on that question would be much appreciated. Question 2: Mod Merging: I don't understand what Mod Merging is. I thought it was combining two esp files together into one file as long as they don't conflict. However when I use TES4Gecko, I combine two plugins that are marked as mergeable in Wrye Bash, and it'll make a new esp, but can only be used if the other two esps that were merged are also checked off in the active mod list. Am I missing something? Because that seems to defeat the purpose of merging if all its doing is adding another esp to my already growing amount. Any help on this question would also be very much appreciated.
  12. Well Voivode as I said in one of my earlier posts, while I did try and see how high of a level I could make it to, I never would recommend it to anyone. It's about 30+ hours of boring repetitious gameplay. Honestly it's only for those people that have nothing better to do, or just have to be the best at each game they play. (Honestly you should see my sphere grid on Final Fantasy X, if you played that game you'd know what I mean by boring and repetitious.) Anyways, like I was saying, if you do manage to get that high a level, even the simplest of enemies will have a LOT of hp and its very time consuming hacking and slahing away at one enemy because of the ridiculous amount of hp. The only good part I could tell you is that YOU also have high hp too. (I had about 2800ish) So basically if you fool around and jump off of high cliffs, there really isn't any cliff high enough that could kill you. Thats about the only good that leveling that high does.
  13. Actually Voivode, I'm glad you brought that up, about the roll over effect anyways because thats literally how you ascend to level 200 and beyond. Its basically exploiting the roll over effect and planning everything you do from the beginning of the game. As DeathRaze said, I have made it to level 240, but I failed to make 255. I have noticed however that there is no guide to reaching these high levels, and I suppose the method is not well known, that being said, I made a guide of how I personally made it to level 240. It's a step by step guide I made. I won't post it here because it would be WAY to big a post. But for those of you that want a step by step guide of how to do it, just send me an email and i'll send it to the address provided. Please keep in mind if you do decide you want to see the guide, I wrote it based off of me playing my 360 version of the game. I don't think it'll make any difference what version you play, but I figure I'd just give the heads up anyways, in case something does come up.
  14. Thats true, but theres an easier way to raise your skills than going to jail, and i'm assuming thats what DeathRaze did since going to jail isn't enough to go from level 50 (generally the highest you can go normally) to level 232.
  15. Hmm well I myself got up to level 245ish when I tried to see how high I could go. Honestly, it all depends on the beginning of the game and yes, the skills and class you pick *do* matter. When I went through I chose Alteration, Conjuration, Alchemy, Illusion, Mysticism, Acrobatics and Blade. These skills are great because they are very easy to level up manually and its easy to make sure they don't go up while in the sewers. Seriously, don't use any magic, hit the rats with your hand to hand, and don't jump. Next you want to choose two attributes for your custom class. I chose endurance and personality, because neither of those two attributes govern any of those seven or if they do, not many. After that its just a matter of avoiding the stat multipliers at each level and working your way up. Also, I don't know if you did this or not, but when you finally max out all stats, you can gain another 30+ levels when doing the Addiction Quest for Thadon in SI. When you eat the felldew and your stats go down, instead of getting the chalice of reversal, start leveling up untill your stats are back to 100. Now not only have you gained an additional 30+ levels, but when you complete the quest, your attributes are permanently increased to 115 and 110. I don't know if this is much help or if you did all this already or whatnot, but its how I myself made it to 245, I couldn't make it any higher than that, I don't know if its possible to make it to 255 at all. =/
