Couple of things: 1. Is that mod from when you first start the game and are trying to get to the main menu or is it from when you are trying to load a save game? 2. What mod are all the ERSO.esp's from? I don't recognize them and I have never seen a mod with so many different esp's. If I was a betting man, I would say it was a mod from the steam workshop, but then again I do loss coin flips over 80% of the time lol. 3. Have you used BOSS? Everything looks okay, but as I said above, I don't recognize some of those mods. 4. You have an esp (Dual Wield Parrying_ScriptDragon.esp). Does this actually require ScriptDragon? If so, are you running it as well as SKSE? 5. It is probably not your issue, but you should look at the unofficial patches. 6. All of those error involving the F******Arrow are trying to make changes to the defaultFireWeapon Scripts in the Japhets Folly Worldspace. They are apart of a scripted even that I have only seen once myself as I have only been there once. I have no idea why a mod would be trying to change these settings at all. What was the last thing you did to this load order? What I mean is did you install a mod or remove one? If you installed one, did you make sure you got any master that are required? Sorry I can't be any more help right now. If you could provide any info on those ERSO.esp's, it could help. Only advise at this time is to use BOSS and rebuild you bashed patch till we have more info.

Help me figure out what's causing my ctd's.
bigv32 replied to Dburwebby's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Don't worry about the bash tags. When you rebuild the patch, these are automatically added, so you don't need to worry about them. You computer is more than capable or running Skyrim and any mod out there. The only thing I would ask is if you did the exact same ini tweaks etc as you did before? I am asking because I know that there are different tweaks that work for ATI graphics cards and others that work for Nividia cards. Doubt its your problem, but something to consider. Based on your reply, I think I should have been a little more clear on my question as to where you are crashing. My bad. Based on your answer, you are crashing after you get out of the first cave at the start of the game. I should have asked how far lol. Are you crashing as soon as you leave the cave or is it a little ways down the road? Simply put, do you see the dragon fly overhead and which ever person you followed in front of you? If you do, how far can you make it into the game before a crash? Are the crashes all in the same location or is it somewhat random? Like I said before, a crash log can help a lot in these cases. Go ahead and look at how to get them. If you go a head and disable your mods, try this. Make the first mods you disable any mods that simply add items to the game (armor and weapon mods etc.). These rarely cause crashes, so checking them first and all at once can actually save a lot of time. Then disable any mods that affect how npcs act (follower mods etc. This does not include mods that just alter how they look). From there, next disable any mods that affects npcs at all (this include animals and any mods that alter how npcs look but not those that simply add more npcs). With the exception of Skytest, it is highly unlikely that any of these mods are causing your trouble. This is why we are doing these all at once. NOTE: Skytest can cause issues with load orders, but I don't think it is your issue here. After this, remove any mods that add npcs (your immersive patrols mod is the main one that stands out but remove others that do similar things.) If you are still crashing, remove any other mods that affect npcs, animals, or any sort of "living thing" other than trees and plants. Follow this by removing mods that affect the weather and then mods that affect the terrain. At this point, you should only be left with the default Skyrim and any unofficial patches and maybe a few random mods. If you are still crashing, disable everything except vanilla Skyrim and test. With only the vanilla esm's, play through till you get to Riverwood. If you don't crash then you start to reinstall mods. Only a few at a time obviously. DO NOT install any texture mods yet. You will want to see which mods are affecting just the vanilla game. Once you can play a while without crashes, then go a head and reinstall your texture packs. You could just skip straight and play the vanilla game and then reactivate the mods, but this way, you may catch the problem earlier and not have to uninstall everything. Its a personal choice though. [EDIT1: when I say disable above, I actually should have said deactivate the mods so that they are completely uninstalled.] -
Is this a fresh install of Skyrim? If so, go to your data tab and see if some of the textures are there. This will also work if this is not a fresh install of Skyrim, but it will be a little harder to see if those files are there. Also, so ini tweaks can be necessary for the game to load new files. Also, is NMM looking in the right places to install the mods?

You have a nice set of mods there that add a ton of content. As Ripple said, load order would be good as well as any crash logs you have. Now for your mods themselves. I have used all of those mods in the past (except deadly dragons, but I am pretty sure that it is not suppose to be that the bottom of your order. Leave it where BOSS puts it unless BOSS does put it at the bottom.) Anyways, Deadly Dragons is most likely not the issue. 1. ASIS is one mod I have seen and had more issues with it than I would care to think about. The fact that it CHANGES both modded and unmodded content and then expands on it in game means it is a pain in *** when it comes to finding conflicts. Also, it has issues with the higher level enemies at times. Most of the time, there is not an issue when you rebuild the patch to add a new mod, but it really gets "entertaining" when you uninstall a mod and then rebuild the patch. Adding and taking away from the game files is always a danger unless you know exactly what was added or removed. In the case of the mod you uninstalled, that is easy to track down. However, the ASIS patches are different. I once did a test where I backed up the patch, installed a new mod, rebuilt the patch, backed that one up, and then uninstalled the same mod, rebuilt the patch. I then compared the before and after patches and found them to be different because I used the same save as before and after and it said I had lost content (not this was not content from the mod I installed as this save was not the one loaded with the new mod). 2. I quit using monster mod because it had to many issues with warzones. However, this was before I found the patch 1.8 fix for warzones, but by then I decided I could live without monster mod. In your warzones options, disable the creature spawns and random encounters. 3. Immersive Patrols can have issues with warzones, but again, I haven't used it since I found the patch for warzones. For now, lets try to figure out if this is a mod conflict that affects the whole game or just you saves. At the main menu use the console command coc riverwood. From there go play the game for a while. Go to a warzone or something (you are trying to tax your system and be in a place where as many mods as possible interact.). I recommend the Warzones to the west of Whiterun in the plains. If you don't crash, then your save COULD be the issue. Did you do a clean install of those mods?

Sorry about my last post with your load order. I loaded this thread and left for about 20 minutes and then looked over everything. It looks like there were two posts between the time I first loaded the thread and when I submitted my post. I did not see those updates lol. As for the NMM vs MO discussion, I have never used MO because I manually download my mods and then use NMM to install them after I have gone through each of them. I have broken my load order up into three groups. The first is what you could call the required list such as the unofficial patches etc. that fix the vanilla game and its flaws. The second is what I call my "must have list" that has things such as immersion mods, realism fixes. Basically, these are mods that I use regardless of my current game and/or character. My third group are "bonuses" that I use depending on what I am doing or if I want to test to see if it works at all (this includes my texture mods that just add new textures but don't fix anything or weather mods because of possible performance problems.). If anything conflicts with the first list in terms of possible CTD's then I don't install it or I alter it myself so it won't conflict if it is something that could be put into the second group. Any other conflicts, I consider whether or not it is worth the risk of any major conflicts. I may alter one of the mods to work. You could consider my first and second groups my new vanilla game because I never add anything to them till I understand exactly what they do and if they work without problems. I make a backup of these mods in a seperate data folder, so I basically have a clean install of all my mods anytime I want. NOTE: I rarely if ever add anything to the first two lists. I haven't added a "new" mod to it in several months. If you were to compare that list to the STEP list, it is actually very similar. I just don't update the list as often. Also, I have combined several of the mods from the STEP list into my own personal mods that contain the changes from all of them. These are mods that haven't been updated in a long time because it is highly unlikely they will need to be updated. In fact, updates are about the only thing I ever add to this list. Sorry for the length on that, but I just thought I would add that because this allows me to do a completely clean install of Skyrim (with completely updated versions of the mods from my first two groups that I know for a fact work together) with less than 10 mouse clicks and a minute for the files to be deleted and copied. Unless I forget to copy the update.esm from the last patch which I then need to re-download lol. Now for the CTD issue: Vegeta: Try this, use the coc riverwood option from the main menu. Then grab one of the bat files from this site that will make your character instantly level 81 with make skills and perks. Then just go and play the game (this is a test, so use a new save if you need to). Go to a place and start a fight or something. This could save you time by finding out about crashes early. Also, I don't know if I have said this in this thread or another thread, but you should uninstall ASIS. I would have done that before SkyRe. ASIS does to much to the game and changes to many things. Also, the fact it changes every time you add a new mod makes it impossible to know exactly how it is affecting your load order from each new mod install to the next. I have tried using it as I think the idea is great, but to be completely honest with you, ASIS causes more problems in my mind than are worth it. Speaking of ASIS, have you rebuilt the ASIS patch after every mod install/uninstall? If not, that WOULD cause issues. Either way, take it out for now. EDIT:Just saw Ripple's newest post. One thing you should be aware of is that NO and I mean NO mod manager can analyse scripts to see if what they do will conflict in game or with any other scripts. Many CTD's are caused by one of two things which are system overload or scripting errors. That being said, if MO does what I think he is saying it does (and what I think it does based on what else I have read), it COULD be better than NMM when it comes to uninstalling games. @Ripple. You also said something that I have been wondering about for ages. Skyrim is my first Elder Scrolls game, and all I had before this was FO3 and FNV. How exactly was Wyre Bash different in Oblivion than it is now? I have heard that several times over the years, but since I never played Oblibion/Morrowwind, I never used it. Thanks

Only character texture ones...specifically: nude mods, topless spider dremora texture mod etc. I could be that the mods aren't properly packaged or have an error with any xml or scripted install file that comes with them and NMM reads. Try to download manually and then repackage the mods with only what you want/need. -

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26734 That mod is suppose to be a fix for the warzones crashing issues since the 1.8 patch. I have been using it for a while with no issues around any of the warzones (I have not tested all the zones as my character has not been everywhere yet). Another thing for warzones I have found helps is to disable the random encounters part of it and disable the creatures spawning. By doing that, I have had no CTD's in any warzones for a couple of weeks. Crimson tide is the blood splatter mod right? If it is, i believe there are options you can check when you install it. You could try a less detailed version. -
Is there really NO simple fix for incompatability and mod errors?
bigv32 replied to stormfrog's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Okay, first off, I agree that bethesda games aren't the best things in the world when they are released. However, what they are are games that work. Everything that Bethesda releases works with what Bethesda released. 99.99999% of the time that someone has an issue it is because of a mod or something they did. All Bethesda does has to do is make sure their stuff works because thats what they make their money on. You hear this argument every stickin time a new patch comes out and SKSE doesn't work for a few days. Why doesn't Bethesda make their game work with modders work? If they did, then that would cause so many more problems then it would solve. If you make the game work with all the modded material in the universe, first off it can't be done. Secondly, you will basically be saying that people have to mod or use something that Bethesda makes no money from to make the game work. Bethesda LET'S us mod because that's the reason we buy the games. Part of the reason Skyrim and the Fallouts are so "broken" is because they basically need to be open source software that can easily be altered. When you also consider that they are making these games so that the exact same game (with some very small differences) works on not only the XBOX 360, PS3, but also an almost infinite amount of hardware configurations for computers, there is no way a developer can do that and still have as open of a game as the Fallouts and Skyrim. Note: part of the reason the default Skyrim looks so bad is because it is not meant to be the best looking game in the world. This allows MORE people to play it who can't afford a super gaming computer that can run the most demanding software. Think about Cyrsis. When that came out, it required one **** of a machine to run at max settings (techincally, it still does lol). What did this mean? It was an amazing looking game that was very well put together. They knew what they wanted to do with the game and they did it. Note: I know you can mod Cyrsis and you can do it almost as much as Skyrim. The main difference is the ease. There is no way in the world that Cyrsis will ever be able to match Skyrim or the Fallout games when it comes to shear quantity of mods that are put out there. There are so many mods that it is possible to play the game dozens of times and never have the same mod load out once while still having a great time. Now, at the risk of sounding like Uncle Ben, with that amount of freedom comes a greater amount of responsibility. It is the game owners responsibility to know what they are doing and how it will affect their game. The amount of freedom the modding community has, the harder it is to make everything work. You asked if there was no simple fix for incompatibilities. Depends on what YOU did to YOUR game. However, aside from altering a save game, there are tools out there to help YOU or others that are kind enough to help you on sites like this to fix those issues. It is not impossible if you are smart about what mods you install and by know what they do. You aren't stuck with a "crippled game" as you put it earlier. You are stuck with a game that worked on its own till you did something to shoot it in the foot. I guess the answer the title of this thread "Is there really NO simple fix for incompatability and mod errors?", the answer is yes there is. You are the answer. You answered yourself when you said that the reason you play this game is because of the mods. When I have a CTD, in almost 80% of the time, I can tell you within a minute or two why I crashed and what caused it. The other 20% of the time consist of things such as my computer and OS itself caused it or it was just one of those things you get because of so much modding. Of all my CTD's, I can very easily say that I can explain why over 95% of them have happened. Finally, you need to get an understanding of what Nexus Mod Manager does lol. You're right, it doesn't help you when it comes to compatibility. That's because its not suppose to. It lets you install AND uninstall your mods SAFELY. -
Help me figure out what's causing my ctd's.
bigv32 replied to Dburwebby's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well, where to start lol. First off, a crash log would be a little more useful at narrowing down the issue at the current location. Now for some basic questions. 1. Are you crashing when you start a new game (the helgen scene) or can you make it past the first cave? Based on your description, I think you have, but a definitive yes or no is better than me guessing :). 2. When you run it, what does Boss give you on your BOSS Report? 3. Do you have/use TEXVEdit? If you have it and use it, does it give you any errors when it loads up the mod list? Note, just because it successfully loads them all, doesn't mean there are no errors. Look through the list on the right to see if says there are any errors. 4. Along the same lines as 3, do you have Wyre Bash and use it? If not, with a load order that long, you pretty much require a bashed patch (I recommend bashed patches over TESVedit merged patches right now). 5. Exactly which version of Claralux is that? If it is 2A, you should be okay there, but if it is 4A, that one has scripting problems and does cause crashes overtime. This will also show up in the log report. 6. You have Skyrim set ot ultra settings then. You should still set your shadows to high and not ultra. I have seen huge dips in performance because of the ultra settings. You won't see much of an increase in performance, but you won't see as many dips in performance. 7. Do you use the autosave feature? If so, turn it all off. Use the quick save feature and make actual save files often. Rewriting the same save file causes issues overtime and can ruin hour and hours of play. 8. VERY IMPORTANT: When you reinstalled Skyrim, do you delete the data folder after you uninstalled, or did you just leave it and let Skyrim reinstall? Sometimes things can still be left over from old mods even after they are removed that could cause issues with even a clean install. The only mod I see you have that does have problems with larger load orders (that I see at this moment lol) is skytest. However, I don't see any other mods that could be causing an issue, plus you load order is not the largest I have seen with Skytest in it. I could go on and on with other possibilities, but it would be pointless without more info and a log file. If you post a log, please put it in a spoiler section so as to not take up a huge portion of the thread lol. NOTE for myself later on and not relevant at this moment in time. (Check Grass mods in log file) Just a note so I remember something about this particular thread. I have seen a ton of load orders lately lol. -
An exception has occurred on the Script
bigv32 replied to ItsFaulkenOMG's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Is this happening with all mods or just a select few when you download them? EDIT: Dud Ripaxe, this is (was) a dead thread. Look at the date of the last post before you lol. I would suggest starting you own thread so people are confused. -
It could be that the mods were not packaged properly to work with the Nexus Mod Manager. You could try downloading them manually and then repack them. A quick way to check this would be to go to where the downloads are saved by NMM and see if those files are correct.
-
Did you have a bashed patch? I don't know if it was me, but I alter my Skyrim settings to be in windowed mod and had some issues with CTD on the main menu. I finally deactivated my bashed patch, rebuilt it and had no issues. It was wierd, but it has worked a few times.
-
I think there has been a misunderstanding here on the current load order lol. I believe he was looking at the load order on the first page of this thread. In that original order, you did have mods that added a lot. Warzones and Immersive Patrols for example both add tons of NPCs and in some cases to the same area. When I first install Immersive Patrols, I had a ton of issues with it, but with the last time I downloaded it, I don't have any issues with it. I am going off of the load order from the top of page two right now, as I am pretty sure that is the lastest list we have. Whatever mod the High_Level_Enemies.esps are from probably does the same thing as Asis. SkyRe also probably does several things that frostfall does. Follower_Addon and NPC_Overhaul could be messing with things that UFO does. The fact that some mods are bellow your bashed patch could cause some issues especially when it comes to rebuilding the patch, but as for whether those cause to to CTD in combat I can't say. How do you uninstall your mods? I am not talking about using Nexus Mod Manager or Wyre. I mean do you go to an interior, exit the game, uninstall the mods, go back to the game and wait several days, then save, exit and reload again? I believe the official term for it is using a clean save, and it is mainly used when upgrading mods. However, it is also a safe way to make sure that a majority of the things that a mod adds are gone. There is also debate on the amount of time to wait: some say 40 ingame days while others say 4 lol. As for you crashing inside small interiors without much in the way of graphics, to an extent it doesn't matter how much your current location has to do with it as where you have just been before that. If you go from a huge area to a small one, the game still saves the information from the prior area so it is faster if you go back. This is why some people use the pcb (purge cell buffers) console command a lot. It clears all saved VRAM info to basically just the current cell. I don't believe that switching from Climates of Tamrial to RCRN helped your position much. RCRN is a bigger mod in its affects because it hits the system harder depending on your settings. I am not saying it hurt you or hurt you a lot so you are crashing. I am just saying it didn't help unless for some reason Climates was causing the issues. From you description though, the switch didn't help. Do you do a clean save when you switched? If you were outside when you made the mod switch, I could easily see that causing issues because you are forcing the save to forget a ton of data regarding Climates and then relearn the info for RCRN. Finally, as I said earlier, it is getting to the point where you NEED to start deactivating your major mods till you find the problem. If you do a clean install of the whole game and then reinstall the same mods, nothing will change in the long run. I would say the first three you should start with is Asis, frostfall, and SkyRe. If the crashes stop, that does not mean those mods are the problem. It could be that another mod has a problem with them and without them activated, there is no problem. The point here is to narrow down the list. Another way to do it would be to deactivate all mods that aren't major (auto unequip arrows, bandolier, any weapon and armor mods). This way you could get you mod load order down to about ten mods. From there is should be easier. IF you think the problem is with your current save game only, you could just use the coc riverwood option from the main menu and go get in a fight or something. If you crash still, it is mods. If not, then it COULD just be your save game. Another log never hurts either lol. This next question is just out of curiousity. I don't recognize a few of your mod files names. spike.esm (I use to have this, but I can't remember what its from. Isn't it an armour mod?) RND_Dawnguard-Patch.esp RND_HearthFires-Patch.esp RND_SkyMoMod-Patch.esp portal2mod.esp

I'm not sure what setting they are referring to with your VRAM. Unless there is some other ini setting that allows you to limit the VRAM usage for your game, I am pretty sure that this is fixed based on your graphics card. If there is a setting for that, then set it as high as you can or delete it so it uses the max amount. What is 8000? It sounds like a name of a graphics card (Nvidia?) Anyways, I watched the video, and I have not seen that issue outside (I am assuming you have been referring to "dimming" of the lights in the beginning.). In doors, I have seen similar issues when there are to many lights overlapping, but this does not seem to be the issue as its outside. Was that video an example of just the Climates of Tamriel glitch or did you crash as the end of it too? If you're crashing in combat, it could be many things ranging from overtaxing the system to a mod conflict with mods that affect combat. This is getting to the point where you should probably start deactivating your major mods one or two at a time and keep deactivating till you stop crashing (I would use a backup save for these tests as this will allow you to just pick up where you left off later when you can reactivate your saves).
-
The problem was that every autosave would continually save to the same savegame file, thus increase the chance of save game corruption over time. Adding the following line to your Skyrim.ini will increase the number of autosaves: [saveGame] iAutoSaveCount=# Where # is the maximum number of autosaves you want the game to generate before it starts recycling the old ones. This will make a new quicksave every time you hit the quicksave hotkey rather than continually save to the same quicksave file. Thanks, I was not aware of the ini fix. Will be nice for quicksaves because right now, I just save a new file every few quicksaves. Its a small thing, but it saves a little time lol.
-
Agreed. As for the multisaving issue, do you have autosave on? I am not sure if you have answered this before lol, so sorry if you have. All I know is Skyrim's default autosave system can cause CTD's overtime during a playthrough. It was the same thing in Fallout New Vegas, which is why the CASM mod was so popular. Not sure if there is one for Skyrim yet.
-
The good news is he seems to have followed the step guide for most of that load order. I would also agree that most of your larger mods that add things is probably the problem. In order to enable logging, you need to change three settings in one of your ini files. I believe off the top of my head it is the skyrim.ini. Look for the lines that talk about papyrus logging (I believe it is under [Papyrus] lol. By default, for me there were four lines under it. Change three of them that have 0 to 1. Then your logs will be in your games\skyrim folder. Taking out Asis and ACE would be the places to start if you want to just troubleshoot. Also, I'm not going to go back through that order right now, but if you have sky_test, that does have issues with large load orders.

Requesting help figuring out why my Skyrim freezes so often
bigv32 replied to bbe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Sorry, I was looking at another person's load order when I said I though some should be in different places. When you uninstalled SoS, do you do a clean save by going into an interior such as an inn? If you are going to reinstall skyrim, go ahead and just delete the data folder then. With so many mods, you might have one that doesn't take out all its scripts. A tip for having a faster reinstall. Copy your TESV.exe, Skyrim.esm, and the bsa files that came with the game standard (not the update.esm though), also, the high-res-dlc bsa's as well. Take these out and then delete the your skyrim data folder. Make a new data folder and then put back in the files you took out. Then all you have to do is revalidate your local files with steam. It is a quick way to do a "clean" reinstall as steam won't need to download everything again. -
159. [01/10/2013 - 05:20:44AM] Error: File "Dragonborn.esm" does not exist or is not currently loaded. I have no idea what you are using that would cause this error to come up lol. It was present in both logs. I don't think its the issue, but any ideas what is calling this? Were you a beta tester lol. 407.[01/10/2013 - 05:35:55AM] Error: Unable to bind script _DE_Campfire2FuelTrigger to (10025BC2) because their base types do not match This was the last line before your crash in the second log. If I'm right, this script is from the frostfall mod. In the second log, what exactly were you doing when you crashed? According to the log, you save three to four times in less than 30 seconds. Why? Was this autosave or manual saving? It is always better to have the autosave off and use the quicksave feature as the autosave does cause skyrim to crash more often (primarily when loading new areas). Did you use any of your old saves? Script problems can become stuck in a save even if the mod that caused them is no longer there. At this point, you should really deactivate the more game changing mods in order to determine what is part of the problem (Skyre and Asis. I would start with Asis). Once you find one that lets you go longer without crashing, then we can figure out if it is the mod itself or if it isn't playing well with another mod. Edit: I went back and looked over your load order again. You do have a few mods that do sort of the same thing, but this could just be straining your system. What is your framerate like both while you are playing and right before a crash?
-
If you are getting random CTD's outside, you might want to try taking out the moonpath mod. As I said above, it does cash crashes in the exterior worlds for some reason. Hope your problem is fixed though. If you want to get an idea for how a mod is possibly conflicting, just load up the mods in TESVedit and apply filter for cleaning. Then all you would do is look for the red wording in the mod you were wondering about. It is not a 100% thing to tell you the exact reason, but you can learn a lot about a mod from it.
-
Out of curiousity what are the esisbattlepack.esp etc. from? I don't recognize them. Anyway, start with uninstalling SkyRe and see where that takes you. I don't recognize the soundtrack mod? I know Skyrim use to have issues with some of the older sound mods, so deactivating those might help. Also, the Moonpath mod does cause crashes all over skyrim. It is recommended that you only have it activated if you are using it. Do you crash a lot around Riften and the Rift? If you could post a log of one of your crashes, that could help us track this down. Until then we'll just have to troubleshoot the mods you have.
-
Boss is not perfect, but it does not create the conflicts. Basically BOSS takes a load order and applies a series of conditional statements as to where a mod should be. If ModA needs to be above ModB, Boss will put it above, but if that is the only condition in a load order of 10 mods, if ModB is in space 5, Boss would only put ModA in space 4. Other conditions could also alter ModA's spot. I am pretty sure in some cases, some conditionals can actually hurt the order, but it is impossible to consider all possibilities. As for the load order in front of us: Your Asis mods need to be at the very bottom of your load order. If Boss does not recognise a plugin, it just adds it to the end. I do not recognize some of those follow esps, but i would bet those should be higher. Your log was long but I saw this repeated a lot (I mean a lot) Error: File "Chesko_WearableLantern_Candle.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded. There were also a lot of errors that seemed to point to some Follower problems. What DarkBrotherhood quest are you on? Have you been having the crashes mostly since you started that quest? For now, try moving Asis and adjusting your load order by whatever standards you choose to follow lol (be it Boss or other). Then uninstall your follower mods (use a new game or old save if you have followers in your main save). Also uninstall your wearable lanturns mod. Note: by uninstall, I mean use Nexus Mod Manger to literally deactivate the mods (you don't have to delete the mods, but you don't want the esp's to even be present in the data folder. See if that helps for now. Post another log if you crash.

I completely agree. I am always surprised when people say they are crashing and then list a massive load order lol.

If you no longer have crashes, then that's great. What could have happened is that when you initially installed the mods, some of them may have overwritten something important from the other mods. A clean installation of all mods could fix these issues if you changed the install order as well as the load order. Good to see you fixed it. By the way, while you have several mods, you had far less than I thought you had based on your earlier comments. When people say they have a ****load of mods, I think of well over 100 and closer to 200 lol.

Requesting help figuring out why my Skyrim freezes so often
bigv32 replied to bbe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
We really need a log of a crash to start narrowing it down. However, I can say you should take out ALL sounds of skyrim esp's. Those DO cause crashes and that's why I haven't seen them recommended for a long time. I do not know if its an issue, but I think you have Wars in Skyrim? If not, ignore what I am about to say. Since I don't believe it is still supported, there could be some small issues with the newer versions of the game. I have not seen that mod for a long long time, so it would be hard to tell for sure. However, if you combine that mod with warzones, you could just be overwhelming your machine. Have you sorted this list with BOSS? There are some mods I would have thought would be in a different place. Do you use Wyre Bash or TESVedit? If so, make a bashed patch. You should install the unofficial patches for all DLC and the main game. These help a lot especially with dawngaurd. IMPORTANT: What version of Claralux is that? If it is V4, that does cause crashes overtime due to bad scripts. Even if you uninstall it, the scripts still affect your save, but there is nothing you can do about it. Installing V2a is the most stable version by far. I see you have the Moonpath mod (I am assuming it is the quest mod based on the name). Always deactivate it unless you are actually playing it. It causes issues all over skyrim (most notifiable the rift). The alternative start mod can cause issues, but most of those happen if some quests are started to early. Overall, you could just start with giving us a log with details on what happened and where you were when you crashed.
