  1. Oh well. Looks like this is dead ringer for a vacuum...
  2. Thumbs up from me on these features! They are very handy and thank you!
  3. I happened to say this to a sad modder on the Skyrim SE mod pages just now. Sometimes we need more than a simple Endorse or Vote button? We need a 'Hug' button that can be hit as many times as possible. Perhaps Devs can give us one? Over to you! (PS - this is not just from one thing, I often would love the 'cheer up' a modder who could do with some moral support. Being retired I'm not loaded with cash, so an intermediate "have a hug/like" button would be cool. Tis but a thought.) And I think Site Admin could do with a hug, too! You do great work and you should have more appreciation for what you do.
  4. No takers? I must have dropped a clanger...
  5. Skyrim has high pastures. So why don't herders have cow and goat bells like they do in Alpine Europe? There's an idea should someone wish to seize it!
  6. This is actually a bit more difficult than it sounds, but it's on a future improvement list. We'll either do that or at some point we'll make it so our comments support Unicode emoji. Cheers! Thank you!
  7. I was royally confused about the sudden inability to reply using the forums, until I found this discussion! Since you are developing new features, perhaps you can put the Emoticon System into the new mod page comment editing bars? So we can call up emoticons. One of the benefits of the old Forum approach was easy access to Emoticons, which enabled Asperger-types like me to deliver or receive the right interpretation of peoples' comments. :D (emoticon to express delight at forthcoming features....!)
  8. In the editor, click the icon in the menu above that's a smiley icon, a line of smileys will open up under the editor window, and if you click SHOW ALL, a window will open with all of the emoticons available along with the : tags : Thank you! Unfortunately I am now mystified. I link to two pictures: https://i.postimg.cc/vZYGLbQd/Cannot-reply-top-topic.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/BQcqKXfg/No-emoticon-menu-item.jpg In one picture, I cannot see an emoticon menu in the regular Mod Page comments - I attach a picture. I know there are emoticons in these forums here, and the menu you show above is where I find them. But there is no emoticon menu offering in the regular Mod Comments box. In the other picture, I was looking at the Mod Page Comments Forums assuming the emoticons show there. But I notice in page after page, I cannot reply to any topics. I've not come across that before as a regular subscriber to Nexus. Is there a problem in the system, or with my account? Oh wait - I see from Pickysaurus and Dark0ne that this is now the case across all the mod pages. I assume that's why we have the new style of comment boxes. Thanks!
  9. Aha! (Face...palm) I knew it had to be me. I put a nose on my smiley. :geek: Is there a website link to the codes Nexus uses, please?
  10. Thanks! Let's say I open up a comment box to comment on a Skyrim SE mod I like. There's a tick box that says "Use Emoticons". So I tick that. I type my text in the comment and then type, say, a smiley: :-) Now, I may be an idiot but I expect that to turn into  like it does in MS Word. But nothing happens when I click "Submit" to submit my comment. It remains as :-) I checked the header bar in the comment box (I do like the new comments features, by the way!) to see if I could see some kind of add emoticon but I could not spot anything obvious. So either I am doing something massively wrong (very likely) or something is blocking the action on my PC. Thank you for any advice!
  11. If I click on the "Use Emoticons" box in comments on mod pages, I don't get any Emoticons. I can put a smily in, and it stays text. Yet other people are using them? Win 10, on PC, puzzled...
  12. Many thanks for the update! Love it!
  13. Can anyone please help me understand what is going on here? My Active Scripts appear to be stacking. All of them. And I have no idea why. I know Critter Spawns have always been an issue, and the first Active script on the list has called the others. I did try an improved critter spawn script but it had no effect. In case there are too many scripted mods, I put together a version of my game with drastically reduced mods and I still had the problem. In the full game script latency averages 69-83ms (Elephant test). Saves run smooth as glass. Yet every "active" script is listed as stacked. I've a heavy game, but I've run far heavier ones than this. But it only happens in exterior cells, and it is critters are kicking this off. Do I worry? Or ignore it? https://postimg.cc/gallery/PfSzZnV Thanks for any insight!
  14. No need to answer - problem solved. There was another idle called "Flying Kiss" which was the same crouch idle. Weird, but there we go.
  15. I use DAR (Dynamic Idle Replacer) animations for some animated idles. There is one I don't like, which is a crouching idle. I've previously removed DAR idles I do not desire, no problem. But this crouching idle - I cannot get rid of it! I made sure it is completely removed from DAR. It does not even exist on my PC as a file any more. Yet it somehow is baked into my save. DAR animations are unscripted, and this would be a simple mt_idle.hkx. How can it bake into the save? Can I find it and remove it? Ideas welcome and thank you!
  16. That's a nasty one! And it reminds me of a very similar crash log I had - similar NIF references, etc. So, perhaps this will help. I had an unresolvable CTD on going into the open world from an interior and I was stuck. I stripped every non-essential mod out of my game and still had the crash. I was about to reinstall the game when I noticed I had left a mod in that I used for character creation. It was an SMP hair mod: [DINT] SMP hair or something. Now, I do not know if you use HDT-SMP hairs, but that is one place to start. If you do not, check out other hair mods you might have. It may be a corrupted NIF in one of the hair mods. When I reinstalled the faulty hair mod the problem was solved. Good luck!
  17. Your load order seems pretty solid and I can't spot a horror in there! Get yourself .Net Script Framework and install it exactly as per the instructions. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21294 The Papyrus Log doesn't really tell you anything and is pretty much useless. When using .Net Script Framework, when you crash the Framework will generate a crash log that is pretty indicative of what the problem mod(s) are. The errors are normally at the top of the log. If you use Mod Org 2, the log will generate in Overwrite. That should give you something to go on.
  18. Thanks for that! I don't have room for the mod, but I do see what you mean on the faces. I'll give that a go!
  19. I've been back to Racemenu and actually managed to improve the smile. I forgot about the eyes.
  20. Thanks. I agree on the resting face; my character is set with a couple of slightly open-mouth expressions (using aaa eee etc., that sort of thing), plus a basic 'happy' expression. She still looks like a nutter. I tried one mod, which was "Smile to the Camera", an LE mod, but it could not function alongside PC Headtracking. However that mod scripted a really good smile. So why can't the others? I can't script to save my life, otherwise I'd try myself.
  21. I see the occasional picture of a follower / NPC with a nice smile on their face. My character lady kind of smiles, but it is usually an ugly little grimace that makes her look like a psycho. I use the mods Random Emotions, Expressive Facial Animation (female), PC Headtracking, and I have the MFGFix mod too. I also tried to give my character a face that can actually smile. But I just wish her smile could be bright and natural, that it could be better than the half-hearted rictus she gives me. A smile like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/49514 I don't want to be entering codes into the console every few minutes, I would like the mods I have to be better and wonder if I have missed something? Any tips would be gratefully received! Thank you!
  22. Sorry guys - it was an animation from Private Needs, causing permanent urination in a follower. I had to use a console command to get the NPC to drop an item "dropitem" and the ref no of the effect/thingy.
  23. Good luck with your mod! Look forward to seeing it. And thanks for the Sheep mod link - that looks amazing!
  24. You'll see from the links below, that my character's long hair causes the boob area of the HDT/CBPC clothes vanish. The clothes in question are from a COCO Body Suit set and are CBBE physics enabled. https://i.postimg.cc/1tBH4BYk/Clothes-Glitch-3.jpg This is how it should normally look: https://i.postimg.cc/yxWFxHRR/Clothes-Glitch-4.jpg The hair is from KS Hairdos, and it is Bliss (54). It is not an SMP hair. As the character moves, the clothing flickers in and out of existence, which looks weird. It only happens with some clothes (COCO sets in particular). Many other sets show no problems. I would dearly love to know what causes this. Normally, the hair just clips and vanishes into the clothes and body. I'm guessing it may be a DDS issue. I have checked the hair colour mod (Multi-Coloured Hair for KS) is not the cause. SMP hair sets do not show this problem. If anyone knows the cause of the problem please let me know. I'd love to learn what this is and how to fix it properly so that I am more proficient in modding! Thank you!
