  1. I ban @Pagafyr for banning me for not being around... and now I shall go back to not being around... ...ish.
  2. I'm having the same issues. Images across the site are randomly refusing to load.
  3. I double-checked the first two issues (it's a mesh for LE) and somewhere in the editing process, the .nif must have lost its bone weights. :teehee: Which is odd, because I distinctly remember copying them onto the shape as one of my earliest steps. So I did it again, and BOOM, it works! Thank you so much for your help!
  4. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with a modded item I'm making that's crashing on equip. Essentially (because I suck at Blender, lol), I'm using Outfit Studio to make a face mask from an existing character's RaceMenu exported head mesh. So far, it's looking great in both OS and in Nifskope, and I've successfully gotten a test version into the CK. Everything is fine until I try to equip it, though, at which point the game CTDs after a brief pause. Any ideas as to what I need to double-check? I'm somewhat new to this kind of modding (although I have modded hair meshes through OS with a moderate degree of success before), so I'm sure there's something I'm overlooking. If it helps troubleshoot, I did use another item (a circlet) as a reference point in Nifskope, so its properties largely match an already-functioning piece of equipment, but I still might have missed something there. I also used a high-poly head mesh for the item, so I suspect it might be the vertex count, even though I have cut away a large portion of the unnecessary vertices already. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
  5. There are some people who, if there were no restrictions placed on a mod, would literally copy-paste mod descriptions and re-upload an unmodified version of someone else's creation all over the internet and claim it as theirs without having put an ounce of work into it. I realize there's some people who would do that anyway, but putting clear restrictions on the content at least lets the general public know that it isn't okay with the original author to do something like that and that anyone who has done it has stolen the concept. I'm not sure you can say "most" here. I certainly make mods for games that I actually play (and only games that I play). I make modded content that I personally want to see in those games. For me, sharing such content with others is just a bonus. And as ScytheBearer has said, I put restrictions on it to keep people from spreading it all over the internet where I don't want it to be and where I can't keep up with it or using it in projects I don't want it to be used for.
  6. Longtime Elder Scrolls player, here, who just recently got into KCD, herself. :D I would definitely recommend it for a Skyrim addict, although it is important to be aware that there are some pretty big differences in gameplay (set protagonist, first-person only, built-in hunger and sleep mechanics, steep combat learning curve, etc.). Unlike Skyrim, KCD has open cities (like Morrowind). You can freely move in and out of them with no loading screens. Fast travel is also available in regular mode. Horse combat. You can fight on horseback in this game (much like Mount&Blade), and simply having a mount is a big game-changer. Having one almost feels like a necessity, not an option you can easily dismiss. The soundtrack is on par with Jeremy Soule's work. It is highly immersive and wonderful to just listen to. Coupled with the beautiful scenery, it makes for some breathtaking moments where you just stop and go "Wow". There are a lot of well-staged cinematics that make you feel almost like you're watching a film instead of playing a game. As a result, it's also a lot more emotional. Despite it being a realistically-designed game in a real historical setting, you can still make potions that help you out in all sorts of situations. XD The alchemy process itself is also quite fun, requiring you to manually grind up and incorporate ingredients according to recipes, as well as operate a bellows and an hourglass.
  7. Never ends, indeed. XD I had been thinking about an 850W, anyway. Might just upgrade that and my RAM first and hope the card prices come down a little in the next year. Maybe. Possibly. One can hope, right?
  8. Phew, "ain't cheap" indeed. o_O I'll have to save up for an upgrade like that. Any chance I'd need to upgrade my PSU to go with it? Newegg's power calculator tells me I basically only use around half capacity right now, and somewhere around 400W if I upgraded to the 3070, but I want to make sure there's enough under load, of course.
  9. Hello all, You guys helped me with choosing parts for my custom build a few years back, and I was hoping for some advice on which components to upgrade/expand on, if any. This is a PC I want to keep "current" for as long as I can, and with it coming up on about 3 years old, now, I was wondering if anything needed to be changed in order to do that. Currently, it can handle basically everything I throw at it; fully modded Skyrim and Dragon Age: Inquisition with ENBs run at max settings without any hiccups, and I want to keep it that way as new titles come out in the near future (IE: DA4 and TES6, whenever the devs decide to publish them). I'm not interested in having the absolute best of everything, though, and I don't have to have the latest and greatest of components the minute they come out. So here's what I've got: Case: Phanteks PH-EC416PSTG Eclipse P400S Silent Edition with Tempered GlassMotherboard: ASUS Prime Z370-PPSU: EVGA Supernova 650 G3, 80 Plus Gold 650WCPU: Intel i5-8400 @ 2.80GHzSSD: Samsung 970 EVO 500GBRAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHzGPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Monitor: DELL S2340M 1920x1080p, 23"I have a few slots open on my motherboard, still, namely two more RAM slots and another for a second SSD. I've also been looking into better monitors, but I can't seem to find any that aren't horrendously overpriced and/or have reviews that make me think twice about getting one. Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated!
  10. Nevermind, I figured out what I needed to do.
  11. Hello all, I'm currently in the process of fixing some errors concerning the description of a vanilla feat. I've managed to successfully fix the errors in the dialog.tlk, but unfortunately, the feat description when examined on the character menu (or as an ability on the hotbar) is still incorrect. I've run through all the instances in the dialog.tlk and can't find where that error is persisting. Is there a feat.tlk? And if so, where can I find it?
  12. I've been having issues in the last ten minutes or so uploading images to the Skyrim LE image share. Any file I choose seems to freeze roughly a third of the way through the upload process. It doesn't seem to be on my end, as I've uploaded to other sites with no problems.
  13. Hello, all. I've recently reinstalled Oldrim, and I'm wondering if anyone can help me find a mod I used to have. I believe it's a player home mod. It's situated on an island in its own worldspace, with the main feature being a duplicate of Jorrvaskr. You can see a bit of it in the background here: I think there was also a Gildergreen tree on the island. The only thing I know for sure is that it's not Aibellia.
  14. Hello, all! I just recently re-installed Morrowind after several years and have been slowly re-downloading old mods I used to use. However, one of them eludes me. I'm hunting for this dress: It was one of my favorites. But I can't remember where I got it. Does anyone know where it came from?
