  1. I just use the Paarthurnax Fix mod that gives you a lore friendly option to bypass the quest. Unmodded it is a stupid almost limiting quest that forces you to pick a side. A dent in an otherwise great game.
  2. She's most likely placed in a position of power due to her various connections in the criminal underworld. The Imperials would most likely use these to their advantage; however it most likely is down to their fear of the same connections. Even if you side with the Stormcloaks, she simply remains in Riften. This is likely due to Maven's level of influence in Riften and the rest of Skyrim. Just a reminder that sometimes bad guys (or girls) win whatever choice you make.
  3. I would love to see an expansion on the Werewolves. No idea how you would do it but we've had DLC's focusing on Vampires, home building and dragons respectively so I think there is defiantly a gap for werewolves. I know it's kind of covered in the Companions' quests but briefly in my opinion. Maybe some back story or the ability to journey to a new land and join a clan of werewolves somewhere and fight until at the end you become clan leader or something. Maybe you could join a detachment of the Silver Hand in that area if you are not a werewolf. I don't know, not a game designer but I would snap up a DLC if this was what was advertised.
  4. Wow. I come back to nexus after a year and realise how s*** my profile must look. xD
  5. I personally enjoy video game romances. It adds another layer of character development as well as another to immersion. However, this is only true in well written romances. While I would love to see a romance option, I would not like to see a very good and promising story screwed over by a poorly implemented romance system. While I fully trust in your abilities as a story maker, which have been proven by the mod itself, please do not implement this unless you positively sure you can fit this with the story line. I would personally reccomend putting this at the end of the mod, after the stroyline has finished and only trigger the romance if certain dialouge options had been picked. I agree with your idea of an optional file or an option in game you have to turn on, much like the Eliyja mod for Oblivion. This way you'll keep all parties happy. Failing that, the option to flirt and/or "chat up" NPCs would more than suffice for me. As for choices, I would have to go with Tananka as I'm a sucker for brunettes and male Harkin, as being a male in game; he's the character I talk to the most.
  6. No idea if this has been mentioned or not, but here we go. 85. In the Leyawiin Oblivion Gate (Random Oblivion World 3) off the map to the west is a very long, sinuous island. Since travel to the island requires a long trek through or over the lava, chances are you've never seen it. There's also no reason to visit it, as it contains nothing, the only unusual feature is one non-functioning door (cannot be activated and doesn't lead anywhere) at the north end of the island. I've seen it, just never taken a screenshot. If anyone has one, that would be awesome.
  7. I agree with what most people are saying here. The fact that Skyrim is a good game but it dumbed down things too much. There doesn't feel like there is as much customization in Skyrim as there is in Oblivion. You can't customize stats to begin with, only Health, Magika and Fatigue. While this does make the leveling process much easier, it takes away the feel that your character is actually progressing in strength or intelligence. You are just increasing a number by 10 each time. Your character becomes a template for you to slap 10's on every so often, instead of planing you character out carefully like in Oblivion. While I like being able to create your own items, which was absent in Oblivion, but wasn't absent in Oblivion was the ability to make spells. Being able to create quite literally hundreds of different combinations with all different effects was fun and engaging. I never did figure out why they left it out of Skyrim. Skyrim is a good game. It makes a big improvement on the combat mechanics and has a great story, but really subtracted from the customization options that made me really love Oblivion.
  8. Not the case with me. I married Aela, who is a follower, and she still set up the shop and gave me the daily income, even when she was with me out in the world. Maybe that is not the case with others, I wouldn't know.
  9. The above user is very happy and proud to be using the Internet.
  10. Mauled my 100th person today. *sniff* My mum would be so happy...
  11. This. :whistling: If I don't feel like cheating, I do jobs for the Companions or Thieves Guild. They are fairly simple kill/steal/activate quests that net a fair bit of gold. (300 each I think)
  12. I have three 'woah' moments: 1) First decapitation (morbid but yes) 2) First time in Blackreach (just... wow) 3)First dragon encounter (because... yea)
  13. Obviously Whodunit is my number one. Be able to see the fear in the guests ansdmore and more of them die. Futhermore being able to play on thier hates and fears to make them think someone else has done it and get them to kill for you. They feel safe now and then BANG, Blade of Woe to the spine. I also enjoyed Baiting the Trap. As cruel as it is, it fun making them go insane or get killed in "inventive" ways. The fact I enjoy that is probably not healthy, but hey.
  14. Was ruuning away from a giant. In my fear didn't notice I was running to Giant Camp where two more of the buggers were. Did not end well...
  15. Assuming your on PC you can do this: (If not, this is just rabble ) If you can't find her that rules out using ressurect, so first see if you can move to her using moveto <actor ID> you can find the actor ID by typing your companion's name in to Google or something and looking on a Wiki page, they'll have it somewhere. If not try placeatme <actor/object ID> but remember this makes a DUPLICATE of the actor, so make sure that the original is dead before spawning another one or it may screw with the game. That's all I can think of, but if they don't work I'll see if I can figure something else out. Hope it works!
