  1. Maeven, definitely Maeven. She's Skyrim's answer to hillary clinton. Stupid, rude, arrogant, convinced of her own superiority(and never misses a chance to remind you of it whether you care or not). Oh yea, and greedy as they come. If not for her money, she would have been run out of town, or alternately, offered up as sacrifice to next dragon that drops by. Arguably the one character in all skyrim with zero redeeming qualities. Other characters may be more annoying in specific ways, but few match Maeven, who is an all-around, errr......witch. Yea .....witch.
  2. I need to fix a mismatch, but not in the usual way. Most times, people are trying to fix a grey-face type problem(dont have that problem), but here is what I am after. I like the face\head textures just fine. Its the body I would like to match with the face. Usually people are trying to match body>face. I seem to be missing the original textures, w/e and now, I have a problem I cant correct as I dont have ready access to the original files. The head looks fine, body fine(far as quality goes), just trying to figure out how to make the facial textures match the lower body.
  3. This author has not provided any additional notes regarding file permissions What does this mean in terms of releasing an updated, fixed version when this is the case? Background. Tried to send multiple requests for explicit authorization to update\fix one of his mods since January at least. - No reply-mail box full and or blocked from new mail No replies to any posts on forums. He would, very infrequently, reply to the odd post from others. In early April, some poster made a number of unflattering posts\comments about one of the authors mods. After a few days and a couple comments, the author disabled forums on ALL his mods. Including the one where I had requested permission to update the mod in question (since he clearly had no interest in working on it). The page itself, still up, has nothing to say one way or other. What would the likely determination?

  5. It has the exact same name as the file Im trying to upload. Which, like I say, works just fine for every small file I try. The Name was Opulent Outfits - Mage Robes of Winterhold-2016 (Replacer). The procedure I used was no different than for my smaller uploads. Only difference, this never ups successfully. As of now, I deleted one update file , which did have a similar name, and the old V 1.0. (124mb). That did not help resolve the issue at all. File size is 124mb.
  6. I have been, still broken Works fine for small files. Bad for large Been looking at this all day long. Deleted the update files, changed the Main version, changed name slightly. Very annoying. Been trying for twelve hours +. Deleted one of the old main file versions and of course, can't put it back now. Still left the main file up that counts. Deleting files isn't working and no matter what I check, set main file etc, I always get this message at the end.   7. Over 300mb? I couldnt upload files 1/2 that size. Anyhow. The new uploader, Been trying to up a 120mb file all day and It keeps giving me the same BS every time. Says there is already a file that name on server. Which is BS, because I deleted them ages ago. Keeps telling me to change the name, which is also BS, because Its had that name since...forever. Or a month or so at any rate.
  8. Been trying to update mods for, least a week now, and its not happening. Been trying to upload ~150mb files, and the connection just times out every time. I might get 15% of the upload complete, then the connection just gets shut down. Downloading is fine-uploading, different matter. Feature or bug?
  9. I have a minor, but annoying problem that's been with me a while now. When I learn a word at a word wall, I learn the word, the letters glow-everything works. EXCEPT, the little chant at the end-you know the one. Hasn't played for ages. I stood outside the wall@ meridia's beacon. I disabled all my esps(near 200)-including USLEEP-same result. Not an esp issue clearly. I do have some custom combo packs I made up for myself, but they only add tavern music and thrall groans. Clearly I must have some sound file, or mod even (AOS?) that is killing that little chant at the word walls from playing like it should. I do not have any errors and the words are being learned just fine. The little light show plays-its just...silent. So -Can someone tell me what record governs that sound, so I can at least check in xedit. -Or, has anyone else run into this and have a possible solution? :confused:
  10. Where have I seen this before, looks kind of familiar...... O yea, here http://store.steampowered.com/ Nice rip, I hope nexus didnt pay too much for this. Steam game library is fine, and the store is ok, but for non-library, non-store feature, steam sucks. Really. And if the pics are any indication, someone really seems to think the steam look is a thing. Its not. I suggest keep an option open for classic interface if this is the look your going for.... Nexus isn't really a store, or a games library, things steam does reasonably well at, so why copy something that steam is worst at?
  11. Need some help with outfits.I have a mod, which changes the default outfits, of casters. It works just fine except for 4 characters. Aicantar Farengar Secret-Fire Meleran Sybille Stentor I look in CK and xedit, and it assigns them the outfits suitable to their class. But in game, all 4 wear the same brown robe and hood, and not the custom outfits they should be wearing. Every other caster in the mod does ,equip as they should, except these four. Ive tried a few things, like change the outfit from the hooded version, to hoodless, but nothing seems to work The mod is conflict winner( there actually are no conflicts-green across the board). Ive looked over every entry in xedit and I cant see any difference between the characters that DO properly equip their custom outfits-and the four that do not. For example, Calcelmo wears his outfit-but Aicantar will not. In MFG, the characters all show equiped brown robes, hoods and mage boots with bad editor IDs attached to them, but not the customized outfits the mod, CK and xedit says they should(in theory) be wearing. What is over-riding the mod?, even tho its the 'winner'? Load order does not help. Are their outfits governed by a script or something that overrules even a mod? Sybilles loot is LootCitizenPocketsRich, and her outfit is the brown robe, monk variant I believe, as are the other three. I disable and re-enable these npcs in game, but they load their brown outfits and not the mods assigned outfit.

  13. Has anyone made an all-in-one mod to retexture\mesh the vanilla jewelry? Rings, necklaces, etc. I've been looking for a mod that does that. What I find, is , mods that replace some jewelry items, but not all. Others add completely new jewelry. But can't seem to find one that simply replaces vanilla jewelery(totally) and not add new pieces or new effects. ?
  14. Is it possible, to make a item(s) sellable by a merchant, unique? That is to say, it will only be offered the one time only, and will not reset along with the rest of the inventory? A mod I would like to...modify, has added a number of items to a vanilla merchant, but I would like to set some items as, 'only sell once' as it were, I cant see anything in CK for this, and the webernets does not seem to have much to say on the topic. One way I thought of, was to remove the items in question from the general vendor chest, create a 2nd separate chest, linked to the same merchant, put the items in, and set it to no-respawn. Is that viable? Or can a merchant even be linked to more than one chest at a time? Thanks
  15. For AMD users, Have you run into an issue where CCC periodically and randomly, it seems, just stops loading at start up? I have had to reinstall 15.7 now on several occasions to restore its functionality. I have not disabled any AMD services nor I have disabled it in task manager in any way, yet it continues to drop out. While this is a known issue, there is little solid feedback I can find on either its cause, or resolution(besides complete re-install that is) Re-install does work(mostly) but its hardly a root cause solution. I use ATI's clean utility beforehand, but even using that does help prevent this issue OS:Win10 64

I haven't even bought it myself yet. Launch price is too expensive and Im planning on waiting for an official patch or two, but damn look at those numbers. Even bumped skyrim down the list which has been usually ranked 6 or 7 even after 4 years. Nearly 450k@70-80 dollars per. Not bad for a couple days sales.. Note left: number is current, second number is peak.
  17. In nexus mods tracking list, if a mod gets either hidden or removed, and I want to remove the tracking flag on it, I cant seem to. Is there a way to do this? I have a handful of mods populating my list that I have no wish to keep tracking, and I would like to get rid of them. Thanks,
  18. Is it possible to set an item(s), to only be sellable one time? That is to say, if purchased, they wont refresh with the rest of his\her inventory? Ive looked at the items in CK, but I dont really see anything that looks like the option I am looking for. Not for a custom merchant, but for vanilla ones. Thanks.
  19. I have run into an issue, where certain corpses have either extra sets of armor on them, or parts of extra armor. Some mods will have the original sets of armor AND the ones they mod adds in. In the one case, imperial legionary troops,(but not officers) all have duplicate sets of armor. I have a particular orc bandit chief im looking at atm, and he was a full set Steel Plate AND Orcish Armor. Problem is, he wont equip the Orcish set at all, even though its qualitatively superior. Nor is MFG console helping any since none of the orcish gear even shows up, is 'invisible' to MFG>equip IoW. So I /killall 'd What I have done is, disabled in order Bash Patch And an overhaul mod(which may or may not be related) then everything..all of it USKP as well And all the bandits with excess gear, still had gear. Ive been playing for ages, but I am quite sure this isnt supposed to be occurring, certainly not in the case of the imperials. If I disable that ESP the dupe sets go away. However that doesnt explain why the bandits im looking at all have extra armor. Not all bandits do however, only some. I was thinking Bash was adding excess armors sets in, or maybe even WAF, or CCOR, but those are all disabled and its not helping. Anyone know anything about why this might be occurring?
  20. I cant exert any control over Skyrim's sound level, mute etc, though my G110 keyboard. Is there some method by which I can get this to work? Right now I have to tab out to mute or adjust volume levels.
  21. Have a duplicate copy of skyrim, Patched, TeSedit cleaned with a few key mods already installed(ie Latest SKSE) saved on your HD, but otherwise a vanilla backup. I do, and use it for testing, emergencies(none in a while) and for times when I need to do some vanilla-only work. Saves lots of time to have one of those around. HD cost-~ 15.6GB total.
  22. They also lag so bad, because pretty much all ENBs load with all effects enabled at the start. I couldn't run ENBs until I figured out what was eating up the frames. Turn off -Reflections -DOF -Subsurface scattering -Ambient Occlusion Reflections and DOF are the big two. I still stutter and lag from time to time and place to place, but performance is a lot smoother with those 2-4 off while leaving pretty much all the visual benefits of my ENB intact. But till I figured that out-every ENB was a lag-stutter-fest no matter what my frame-rate said.
  23. Long time problem I cant resolve. My characters eyes always has a glitch, it looks like its missing textures in one particular spot. Now I thought maybe the issue was related to say, unp, skin textures or even eye mods. As it turns out-none of that is true. My totally clean install however does not have this issue however UNTIL, I change eye shape. Then I do. Certain eye shapes have this problem, others do not. This is with 100% vanilla. In my modded setup, with RM 3 and a host of other appearance mods, pretty much every single eye shape will produce this visible eye glitch. So its a problem in vanilla, and in modded for me and I dont know why. I went around and observed some NPCs, some share the glitch that my char has, others do not-its dependent on the shape of the eye. Certain eye shapes basically hide it, while others don't. Whats more annoying, is I cant seem to find any other references, pictures nothing, to the issue, much less any mods that fix it. In my modded game, I removed the Eyes of Beauty and the NPC texture replacer. And it had no effect. Picture here.
