Thanks to the Nexus Team, Tannin and Kit (Welcome, Kit) Looking forward to abusing the new system. LOL I hope it will have all the functionality of MO plus more. I really miss it with Skyrim 64 & Fallout 4.

Ya know, 10 years and I didn't really see that Required Files link. But I did just go back and check a few I could remember I had to delete after finding out they needed DLCs and none of the 3 had requirements listed anywhere and haven't responded to anyone in their forums/posts in over a year. Oh, and Twisted, the Red in NMM is what did tell me. I always go and sort the LO after installing and I saw them. It's a good thing I don't have a limited bandwidth.

In Skyrim32 I use a mod called Lift Anything, which allows me to move corpses around. I know we can move human corpses in FO4 but when I try to move an animal corpse it says it is too heavy to lift. Yes, Bethesda, I can lift a human corpse but a smeggin bloatfly corpse is too heavy? Game Logic at it's best!

What to do with Creation Club situation?
JDaremo replied to 1Shep8ardov's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
What to do? Absolutely nothing provided the authors aren't stealing ideas and assets from our modding community. There will always be people for and against the CC. We have lost so many Fantastic Modders on this site over the close to 10yrs I have been coming here due to financial troubles that the CC is actually a way for those modders to come back and supplement their income while doing something they obviously love to do. It's just too bad that Bethesda is probably digging their fingers too deeply into the money made. From what I have seen so far (not too much actually), I have found the prices a little too ridiculous . Yes the modder needs to make money, but the price is most likely (using current business models) inflated so Bethesda can make money too like they have wanted for so long. It is also the only way I know of to get mods to console because Sony & Microsoft won't do it any other way. Bethesda has to do it this way because they have to guarentee to Sony & MS that the mod won't hurt their product reputation.- 21 replies

Trying to make an Eyebot Companion like ED-E? Oddly enough, it is possible for him to make his way up that far in the timeline allowed and hook up with another Lone Wanderer. That would be so Cool. I did find an eye bot last night that I hacked and got it to follow me home.

Since it seems that some modders are lazy or have abandoned support of their mods . . . Are there any mods that are still functional that allow you to display you Weapons, Armour, etc WITHOUT need any DLCs? I have been searching but haven't found any that are updated or require only the base game . . . or don't list that they need certain requirements at all (Damn lazy)

I really wish there was a way to force modders to list their mod/dlc requirements. I only have the base game and due to financial restraints can't afford the pass yet. I know there are many many others in the same position. I have countless times had to delete a mod after install because the author was too smeggin lazy to list that dlcs were required.

it would help if you included a list of your currently activated mods, including the ones in a bash patch if you have one. -
Unable to download anything from Nexus any longer
JDaremo replied to Deleted252610User's topic in Site Support
only had a problem downloading yesterday but it has cleared up again. I use chrome for downloading and have never had a problem. Zonealarm is evil and you should never use it. Every computer tech I know warns people to stay clear of it. -
Found the problem but not the source. It was an ADWARE infection and I believe I got it from an infected file from the site since I hadn't been on any other site but fallout nexus in 3 days. I had been downloading mods off and on all day trying different ones until I found a combo I liked, and then I get hit by the virus when I went to the link I posted previously. The kicker was I only wanted to try the mod in a test game and not in my actual one. I wonder if this was one of the files infected when the hacker hacked one of the staff accounts a couple weeks ago. food for thought.

I know ads are required for users not paying but this is nuts. everytime I go onto your site to download and try a mod I get flooded with ad pop ups and multiple video ads on the page. I can't even click on links on the mod pages, only the search pages. your site is the only one doing it and I have done multiple scans of my computer for adware/viruses. anyone else having this problem? actually started when I went to this page http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2333/? I didn't have any problems this afternoon when I was on the site.
