  1. Well it is at least good to know progress has been happening. Heres to hoping the initial release can happen in less than a month
  2. I believe there is at least one mod that is a work on progress that plans to include werebears. I don't know how close to your idea they will end up.
  3. While from what I've can gather the lore is nebulous enough, playing it safe is usually a wise choice if you want to keep something lore-friendly. So I will debate no further about it. I hope that more of your team do eventually report. It would be a shame for this project to flounder because of lack of a team.
  4. Note also however the vagueness of the lore on this account. And that your temporary transformation as is is almost as unlikely. There's just not enough lore to disprove or prove both possibilities. The possibility could be very well real but nobody has used thier abilities to attempt it. Or it could be the opposite, where it is completely impossible for a Dragoonborn to do so. Most likely however a 'Dragonborn' would have a greater likelihood to be able to do a physical change. Of course I could be completely wrong. I'm not strong on Elder Scrolls lore and I mainly looked up material. There's nothing really supporting or disproving either except for the rarity of such an event happening. My two cents
  5. My personal opinion about the werebear when it comes to fur is that it should have thicker than that of the werewolf, doesn't need to be extremely thick looking however, it would be somewhat disappointing if it wasn't nearly fully furred.
  6. I hope they release it at 11:59PM Tuesday night just for you ;)
  7. I don't think the true power of the Creation Kit will be readily apparent to most for a while. Once the more substantial mods begin to come out the true scope of the Kit will likely become more apparent.
  8. The werebear is quite nice looking in general so far Although the legwork doesn't seem to go well in my honest opinion. A digitgrade leg look is fine for something that has one of base creatures (the animal or the 'man') possess such a leg type, but when neither possess such a quality it makes it seem 'too alien'. Personal opinion of course and one cannot deny the heavy amount of work that must of went into it so far.
  9. I must say with signs of progress and the CK likely be out very soon, I'm getting excited.
  10. Well I can throw my support behind this (even if its just as a fan, while I do like suggesting ideas, I can't help on any sort of way beyond that). Here's hoping that you can excel in creating a great mod.
  11. In most cases, the werewolf form for me is still usable in certain situations, but at some very steep costs. The only reason I might think of using it these days is to save wasting charges on my enchanted weapons in regards to taking down weaker bandits. Even with my particularly mediocre equipment overall for my level, I can easily outperform in just about every situation. Overall, the werewolf form is lackluster from the many disadvantages it gives compared to the few strengths it grants.
  12. Posting here to also confirm numerous problems which have steadily got worse over time. Although I've yet to have anything as severe as what some have experienced I've also been getting something not many have mentioned (auto save corruption) I really hope they pick up the ball on this. It's unacceptable for something this big to be missed to begin with.
  13. @ deventry: I'm not sure, but I believe carrying capacity increases 5 points whenever you invest in stamina (if its not stamina then its health, I have leveled both up rather evenly on my character). Unfortunately there isn't many items you can find that will help increase that, but its possible (I have seen an enchanted item once that could increase the amount you could carry.)
  14. A very good game as much as I've experienced overall. On the other hand, finding things with no 'sprite' at all and occasionally having no textures combined with the sometimes frequent crashes to desktop I get. Still the best game I purchased this year. In the end its definitely a true Bethesda product, both in the best and worst ways. If they could just identify and fix some of the problems before the modders end up doing it, I can raise my opinion from 'very good' to 'great'
  15. Knowing my luck it'll be be warm and not be a cloud in the sky.
  16. Half the fun of making enchanted equipment is naming them. I don't often give them straight names, but especially in Morrowind, I often attempted to think of great names for gear I was making. I believe my favorite was a ring I enchanted once playing Morrowind which I named Eye Of The Storm. It was an on-use ring which was enchanted to do an AoE calm monster and humanoid on touch.Pulled me out of some sticky stituations at times. I hope that I get to have the joy of personalizing equipment that has been enchanted.
  17. Its not a bad thing to have the big picture in mind. Just make you you don't head for it too early. Then again, my advice may not be too great since I have never more than dabbled in modding any game.
  18. Even if they do, there's nothing to stop one from creating and releasing a modified version. If DLC is released, fine. If not just gives you more freedom (and creates a lot more work) in creating the mod itself.
  19. I was considering getting into modding when Skyrim came around. I personally hope someone does make a good werewolf mod for Skyrim. I was planning to eventually take a shot after learning how to mod well enough (Although knowing me, I'll probably end up forgetting about it or giving up)
  20. Well this gives me confidence that it will work on my own.
