IMO, with the mod list you have, you would be better off using the guide stickied at the top of this forum.

Possible to edit in FO4Edit without masters?
mac2636 replied to mac2636's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Some are, but some aren't. Will likely just build a merged patch for the non-WSE2 ones. -
Looking to clean masters from a couple of plugins and would prefer to just edit them without loading the masters. Is this possible? Mainly the patch esps for New Calibers. Many of the missing masters are now in WSE2.

I reported as stolen. For all the good it will do.

Current state of major settlement mods?
mac2636 replied to mac2636's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Great info. Thanks Aeradom. -
Hi all, Just getting back into FO4 after many months and am curious as to others thoughts about settlement mods. Which major settlement mods are you using? Which combos do you like most now? Thanks for the input.

What happened to The Rebel by L0rd0fWar?
mac2636 replied to Firewall8's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I've been away from FO4 since before L0rd0fWar's issues, after reading about, I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for all the work you did. I really appreciate you sharing your work.- 106 replies

Why Body mesh under clothes?
mac2636 replied to NordicRunes's topic in Fallout 4's Creation Kit and Modders
I use it so it replaces the default mesh to avoid clipping. By including a ref mesh and using zap sliders you can almost completely eliminate clipping (except around the neck area sometimes). -
Creation Kit stalls out at Int. Archive
mac2636 replied to ClayboTGW's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
CK actually crashes for me after about 30 seconds at Initializing Archive. -
Hmm. Running Windows 7 64bit. CK crashes every time while initializing archive, no matter if I launch through Bethesda.net launcher or via the exe. Anyone else having issues?
-
Vanilla ones would need to be completely original works based off of the old game assets. For original mods that were made for the previous game, the CK probably will not make a huge difference as far models and guns go, but I'm unsure about animations. I think it will help in that regard, but someone who is knowledgeable about animations would need to answer that one.

I'm just downloading it now, 72.29 MB. Also YAY! I'm downloading the Creation Kit. It feels like Christmas. Thanks. Guess I'll wait until the weekend to get it.
-
Anyone know how big the download is? Also, after downloading will it run without an internet connection?

Was always the single biggest mistake they made. Trusting a company that grew mostly out of contracts with publishers versus stellar customer service was a disaster waiting to happen.

Prevent OS from morphing certain sections of outfit?
mac2636 replied to mac2636's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Found the solution. Mask the specific sections before conforming all for the first time. Takes a bit of trial and error because you can't go back and mask additional areas without restarting, but it does work pretty well. And to a complete modeling clutz like myself, its much easier than using 3ds or Maya. -
Thanks so much for the offer buddy - ousnius is currently on it! :) No problem. Glad it is getting done. I'm excited to try it once you're done.

I'm still trying to get the neck and upper chest squared away on my Skyrim outfit conversion, but I could probably turn a couple around fairly quickly.

When converting an outfit from Skyrim CBBE to FO4 CBBE, Outfit Studio stretches the neck front too much and wrinkles the upper chest. Is there any way to have the rest of the body morph correctly, but leave these certain sections alone or have them morph less/better? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

is there a mod to make the female hands look better?
mac2636 replied to xAMZx's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
CBBE's look too manly for you as well? I yhink there is a manicured nails mod around. That might help.
