  1. No offence, but I don't think many people want to join a team where the leader would be just the "ideas guy". You have to bring something to the table as well, not just that you can "somewhat" use the GECK.
  2. The Pentagon *is* heavily fortified, its the f***ing pentagon. The reason why there was a giant hole in the pentagon on September 11th was because a large, airline plane going very fast that was filled with explosive fuel, ran into the side of the building.
  3. I dunno, I wouldn't really find it that entertaining to follow the same story and go to the same places I did in FO1 and FO2. I'd prefer an entirely new place to go to.
  4. I honestly don't see why one small flaw in the story ruins it for you guys. If its really that important to you, just make up a reason why your character launched the nuke.
  5. Minngarm, you obviously have no idea what your talking about so please stop talking.
  6. If you want to play a Call of Duty map, go play Call of Duty. Simple, no?
  7. I totally agree with the above poster, the whole "Big Final Battle" thing is overdone and can't really be done well in Fallout New Vegas.
  8. The story seem's pretty bad in my opinion. The Enclave should be pretty much wiped out by now, and it would have taken a hell of a lot of time to make a vertibird undectable. Secondly, if the Blue Stripese are a rebel group why would they be holding a peaceful protest? I don't think a Rebel group would just go "Okay, lets go protest near that building with all of those troops near it." And if they were protesting peacefully why would the NCR shoot them then? I know the NCR is somewhat corrupt but I doubt they'd just shoot people that are protesting. Also, how could the BoS and NCR be allies? Im pretty sure they hate eacother, and I really doubt there'd be a group large enough to be a fighting force left in NCR territory.
  9. Arizona sounds interesting, although i'd be a bit dissapointed to be in another dessert area again.
  10. Tailor Maid has a Security Vest I believe, although you may be the type who doesn't like to just pick something up from a crate in Goodsprings so I suggest Satchels. Adds in a Security Vest that you can make (Although im not sure if the DT given is a good amount, so you'll still be taking some damage.).
  11. Im going to have to disagree with the above poster on a few points. Please for the love of god, don't get too silly on the weapons. OWB is a perfect example on how to make weapons like that work, they're kind of crazy but they still fit in the fallout universe. I also disagree about the part on characters, you don't have to make these kinds of characters and I hope you don't. Never make a character that just cracks jokes the entire time, it ruin's the atmosphere sometimes. And you don't always have to have a character with a tragic backstory, its been done way to many times really. My suggestion for character's is that you shouldn't follow any kind of character stereotype, sure you can have a character who tells jokes but he can't just be there for comic relief. But then again you can't just have a super serious character, either way im sure you guys will find a good balance between the two.
  12. I'd be interested in being a writer, or atleast pitch ideas. I don't have a lot of example work, considering I haven't written in awhile but i'd still be willing to help out any way I can.
  13. These weapons are incrediblly silly. I mean a sniper rifle with over 5 scopes on it, and with a bayonet?
  14. Yeah, the amount of people in hoover dam IN GAME aren't the actual number of troops at the dam. There's probally atleast a couple thousand troops there and around the area, so you'd be killing innocent troopers just doing they're job, and then you'd be essentially f***ing over the entire Nevada by destroying the only source of clean water. If you decided to nuke New Vegas you'd be destroying one of the major safe havens in Nevada, thousands would die, and again radiation would kill a lot more people.
