  1. I've wanted both for a long time now. I've been requesting both Star Wars droids and buildable Synths every couple months or so for some time but it's never gone anywhere.
  2. I would like to see the unique robots parts from the New Vegas Robco Certified mod added to the Robot Workbench for Automatron, as well as human sized Liberty Prime parts and Gen 1 and Gen 2 Synth parts. I'd like to see the human sized Liberty Prime parts, syth parts, and the Walking Eye and Roboscorpion parts added in most of all, since those are bots that were originally part of the series that Automatron doesn't already have available. Here's the mod for reference:http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/43331/? The mod page already lists all it's robots and has pics for them, but I'll list it here for convenience: Floating Eye. Hoverbot. Walking Eye. Beanbot. Coffeebot. Electrobot. Fichebot. Holobot. Hydrobot. Ovenbot. Projectorbot. TVtron. Jukebot. Safebot. Serverbot. Shieldbot. Think-Tank. Transformer. Hoverbrain. Scuttlebrain. Assemblotron. Multibot. Roboscorpion. Robco Certified also has a number of cyborgs, I'll leave it to the modder to figure out how those will work, but I'll list them: Lobotmites. Cyberdog. Cyberroaches. Cyberclaw. Even just getting a few of these going would be a start. Thanks in advance to any modders willing to make this.
  3. Well, me I personally am looking for an immersive experience, which is what the intention behind my idea is. I'd like the bounties to be potentially infinite, provide consistent challenges and worthwhile rewards lasting for a long time before it dries up, and to be integrated in such a way as to make it feel like just another one of the game mechanics like how Star Wars Bounty Hunter bounty hunting works. I also want something with some rhyme and reason behind it beyond "X is wanted for some reason, go kill X, come back, get paltry reward."
  4. That's a start. Really, it would be best to first just make the various Terminator models, Hunter Killers, weapons, and the rest of the Terminator unique stuff, then go from there. Build the conversion piece by piece, you know what I mean?
  5. I was thinking up the idea of some sort of bounty hunting system like this a while back, though I never requested it. I was thinking that there could be a modification the player could build and attach to any given hat/headgear, and then use VATS to scan any given enemy or NPC to see if they have a bounty on them, a short description of their crime or who they wronged to get a bounty on them, and the dead/alive reward. Then there could be attachments and weapons added to the game that the player gains the ability to buy the blueprints for and buy directly respectively as well as occasionally find that would give the player nonlethal options to deal with targets, starting with melee weapons and other weak stuff and building up from there as the player becomes more experienced and respected as a bounty hunter (translation: the more bounties you bring in the better the stuff you're able to buy). There should also be bounty hunter themed armors and novelty items and stuff like that the player could buy as they increase in rank. Of course, it's also entirely possible the player might get a bounty on them and get hunted down by bounty hunters themselves as they screw people over, raiders for instance might put a bounty on the player if you sneak around clearing out their bases. Incidentally, I was playing Star Wars Bounty Hunter not too long ago when I thought this up, so the idea was based on how bounty hunting works in that game.
  6. Exactly as the title says, I would KILL for a Terminator based total conversion mod. I think the Terminator universe would mesh really well with Bethesda's signature open world style, but I doubt that will ever happen officially, or that whoever owns the Terminator IP will ever actually make an open world game out of it. Yeah, I like to dream big, how'd you guess? I figured I might as well ask. I have quite a few ideas for specifics, but it's rather long so I won't bother posting it unless someone is interested.
  7. I had a similar idea, alongside a settler autoequip bin, but never got anybody to actually make either. I wanted a bin you could drop equipment into, then it would scrap it for you and add it to the settlement total once you left the interface, which would be less tedious than having to go to the weapon and armor benches and scrap everything individually. Having it require power is a good idea.
  8. If possible I'd like a mod that permits experience to still be awarded to the player for killing an enemy indirectly. Mini Nukes and grenades you shoot out of the enemy's hands and Turrets and bots you've hacked killing things and probably some other things I'm forgetting don't give experience to the player for doing so, which really defeats the point of even bothering to do these things. For instance, if I shoot a Super Mutant Suicider's Mini Nuke, it blows up and kills him but I don't get experience for it, meaning I'm down both a Mini Nuke and the experience for killing the thing. I don't even bother hacking computers to turn turrets and bots against my enemies because since I don't get experience for anything they kill it's more productive for me to just kill those enemies myself and then kill the turrets and bots for the experience from that. It makes all the mechanics for doing these things pointless.
  9. Good idea. Maybe the mod could even make some creatures with machine parts sticking out and Frankenstein mix and match critters and that sort of stuff. You know, things a mad scientist would create.
  10. Simply put, I want there to be parts for droids from Star Wars, preferably ones we can mix and match like the vanilla Automatron robots. The more parts the better obviously, from the droids that would work primarily as flavor like R2 units and 3PO units, to various battle droids from the KOTOR era to Droidekas and B1s, and so on, any parts from any droids in Star Wars that the modders know of T3, HK, whatever. The way I figure it, initially the player would find a really old and rusted droid out in the wasteland somewhere that's pretty basic and has low stats, then salvage the parts from it, I'll leave it to the modder to decide where and what droid parts to find there, then how they'd find the rest since I'm not inventive enough to think of an immersive way to do it. One thing I'd love to be able to do is recreate these: http://www.jeditemplearchives.com/galleries/2011/Review_C3POBattleDroidHeadTSC/Review_C3POBattleDroidHeadTSC_stillA.JPG
  11. Terminator based and Star Wars based total conversion mods. Yeah, I know, the odds of that happening are basically zero, but I honestly think both franchises would be very suited to a Bethesda style open world game format and the odds of a mod doing it are just slightly higher than the odds that either of the ones who own those franchises actually letting Bethesda take their IPs and make their open world games out of them, so I might as well suggest it. I suggest it here because out of the two Fallout would probably require much less work as a base for a total conversion mod of those IPs than Elder Scrolls would. I'll go into detail about some ideas I have for these specifically if anyone asks, but I don't have the aptitude to do more than come up with some basics.
  12. Let's see... 1. Prewar buildings parts (walls, roofs, wallpaper, etc.) plants, knick knacks, whatever. available to build at settlements. There is a distinct lack of building components that don't look just thrown randomly together, which is fine to begin with but as the player gets more perks they should be able to build houses like the ones in Covenant and Sanctuary prewar, both clean versions that look like the Great War never happened and versions that look wrecked to various degrees. There's plenty of mods that just say make Sanctuary the way it was during the prologue outright and ones that just put houses at various settlements, but I have yet to see any that give the player the ability to do this themselves from scratch. Oh, and something that makes placing stuff on uneven ground easier. Placing stuff on anything other than completely flat land is a real hassle to make look right, if it's even possible to do so. 2. A Star Wars droid mod for Automatrion, especially one that permits mixing and matching parts. Preferably that allows progression for the various droids from the Old Republic to the post Empire era (weakest to strongest) Legends and maybe even throw in the voiced lines from various Star Wars media to give the droids personalities if that's possible. I'd say put as many different droids as the modder can find exist large and small, with parts conforming for their role in the Star Wars universe i.e. C3PO parts are better for aiding persuasion and make them better vendors, while battle droid parts make the droid more resilient and effective in combat, as well as ones that don't really have much use and are mainly for flavor, and ones from unique Star Wars droids like HK-47 that have a variety of purposes. Also, add the various mechanical looking Snyths as options for parts. 3. A mod that completely rebalances Power Armor to make it what it should have been in the first place. Before Fallout 4 Power Armor was intended to be this late game armor which the player could wear 24/7 that was properly balanced so that it just barely allows the player to be able to handle the threats they are facing at the time, not this slow lumbering tank available from practically the beginning that makes the player all but invincible if they ever put it on, which thanks to the ridiculous Core system is hardly usable anyway as Fallout 4 implements it. There's already a mod that gets rid of the core drain entirely as it should be, but as far as I know there isn't one which rebalances power armor to complement that by weakening Power Armor to prevent it from being gamebreaking to use it all the time nor one which forces it to be only usable much later on. I'm thinking that the one you get during the "When Freedom Calls" main quest breaks down not long after and you need to go on a long and involved questline to get the schematics for Power Armor and parts to repair it properly, and until then the Durability and armor rating of any Power Armor you find is pretty low and you need to use those Cores to use Power Armor, then afterward you build in a proper power pack that lasts forever and can use it forever, while it's durability and damage resistance go up a lot, though not as much as vanilla armor. To put it simply, make Power Armor into what it was before, a step up to what other armor the player can find during the early to late game with it's own progression after that point, 4. Lastly, a auto scraping bin and a auto equipment upgrading bin for settlers. There's already a "scrap all junk" option, but It's a rather slow and tedious process to head to an armor or weapon bench and scrap EVERYTHING one has one item at a time over and over again, so this would help eliminate the tediousness of it. Maybe it could make an exception for anything the player has equipped, favorited, and/or named so we don't accidentally scrap something we want to keep throwing stuff in the bin too fast.. Then a bin which will automatically modify equipment in a specific way the player can set for the player provided the settlement has the resources to do it, and then set it so settlers in the settlement will automatically equip themselves with the equipment in the bin when the player isn't around. For instance, say we want all 10 settlers in a settlement to wear Buttressed Raider Chest Pieces, all we'd have to do is put 10 Raider Chest Pieces in this bin, mark all similar items to become Buttressed and the settlers to use them with the necessary materials in the settlement's stock, leave the area for a bit, and BOOM! When we get back we have 10 settlers wearing Buttressed Raider Chest Pieces. That would be much less tedious than having to get 10 Raider Chest Pieces and the materials to make them Buttressed, go through the entire list of armor that the player has on them and in the settlement to locate each of the 10 we've got and make each Raider Chest Piece Buttressed, then having to walk up to every single settler one at a time, access their inventory, put the Buttressed Raider Chest Pieces in each of their inventories and then having them equip it.
  13. I haven't tried it yet. I'll send you a PM when I get around to it.
  14. As far as I know, no. Curing Vampirism is the only quest they have unique to them I think. Actually, I remember I found a mod that fixes the issue quite nicely, by allowing the player to "conceal" their vamprism with a button press which includes the hideous appearance, though it also has some other features that are pretty awkward and sometimes break quests: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/27329/?
  15. Is it maybe possible to give the boosts and such vampirism gives without actually technically having it?
  16. That's okay, you tried. Any chance you know anyone who might know how to do this?
  17. I want a mod that makes the parts of various Star Wars droids available to Automatron. I made a thread for it here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4629175-automatron-star-wars-droid-parts/
  18. I'd like to see someone take the voice files of robots from other games and use those as lines for the robot personalities. HK-47, SHODAN, GO-TO, GlaDos, Wheatley, etc, the more the better.
  19. So uh... any of you three able to make this happen or you just commenting on it?
  20. Trying to make Star Wars Droids buildable in Fallout 4 have a sensible story reason is probably an exercise in futility really. I'd probably just go with some vague explanation the player could make up their own guesses as to the rest, but nothing definitive. It also would help make it so it doesn't particularly matter that older droids are discontinued because the source of the droids isn't all that defined anyway.
  21. Good questline ideas, but I'd personally prefer it if unlike how the Automatron questline and getting all the robot parts worked there that parts of droids were found and took a long time to complete rather than just given to you for doing quests for the most part. Naturally someone could also just use console commands to just wish it all up if they wanted to, but I always prefer it if mods require extensive exploration and hours and hours of work to get from it's least to it's best aspects. Maybe a combination of both, you could find a bunch of parts lying around some locations and some are given to you from hacking the C3PO unit, or maybe you could hack the C3PO unit and it would help direct you to areas where the next "tier" of droid parts is likely to be found, but many of the parts especially for the particularly powerful and useful droids have to be located simply flying by the seat of your pants.
  22. I was thinking we'd start with the KOTOR era droids, which would be weakest and least effective overall, (but could still be modded to be more useful to keep up with the later ones) then progress to the Prequel and Empire Era droids, which would generally be more effective, it would make sense they would be somewhat better considering there's 4000 years of technological progress between them. Then of course a smattering of other droids built for various purposes from between the eras, whatever the modders can fit in. For instance, a rusty version of this is what you start out with: http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e83/scarletguard/Knights%20of%20the%20Old%20Republic/GreenGun_zpse893c742.jpg Which would be the weakest, least well armed, and least intelligent variant, then a little later on with some low level perks and the parts you could start building ones like these: http://rpggamer.org/shippics/starforgebattledroid.jpg Which would be larger and stronger than the previous ones, and so on and so forth. In fact, I'm thinking that there would be 5 general categories of droids: "Small" droids which are more humanoid droids like B1s and the KOTOR ones pictured above and are all around weaker but easier to get. "Large" variants that are stronger all around but harder to find the parts for and require higher level perks to make. (think a Synth Vs. a Sentry bot) "General" variants that don't fit into any particular classification and are more variable in their usage and requirements like probe droids. "Flavor" variants have more situational abilities like increasing Charisma and hacking computers and are more intended to be settlers or shopkeepers or whatever like Protocol droids and Astromech droids. "Special" variants that are versions based off of unique or important droids in Star Wars, like HK-47, GO-TO, and so forth. Of course, the player could mix and match them together just like how vanilla robots to create metal monstrosities. Eventually the modders could take recorded lines out of movies and games and whatever and use them to create personalities for the droids, I could just imagine hearing HK-47's voice coming out of C3PO's mouth.

  24. Maybe we could have Automatron use parts of Mobile Suits as robot parts. Then we could make things like a Zaku 2 body with a Gundam head, and Zeong rockets for legs, plus Gouf bullet finger arms, that would be awesome!
