  1. I have same problem... I had no problem until I installed a few mods... now I wonder what mod could cause the problem, If I find the solution I will post it
  2. The solutions posted here didnt worked for me, but I figure it out anyway, I have Windows 10 x64, I just downloaded an older version of ENB Skyrim (core file, the ones from enbdev.com for examplefrom v0119 and also v0117beta worked :), http://enbdev.com/mod_tesskyrim_v0119.htm), I comment this for help someone with same issues.
  3. Yees would be so cool, for real... maybe a model export from WoW?, then create a custom Murloc race with those models... but it could be not appropiate due right and permissions..., making an entire new model thats another thing... anyway, I agree would be so badass playing as true Murloc on Skyrim... and even add the typical murloc sound for attack maybe, hehe
  4. I guess must be a Vramburst stuff as what discovery1 said, I had a ATI AMD 9850, dd5, the game works very well with all visial options on high and with a lot of mods, the only crashes where due compatibility betwen mods, once I let just "essential mods" and take off heavy script mods, the game works without problems. Then my video card died and now I got the old video card what is a Nvidia 9500 GT, I installed Oblivion again, install some mods, this time even more simple mods, but my game crashes a lot, so I'm pretty sure must be the video card what does not have proper features. Would be good to know what video card do you have, If you have a low end video card maybe that is the cause of the crashes, seems does not matter how much tweaks and improvements you do to the game, that is what happening to me, when I could I will get a better video card and I'm pretty sure the crashes must be solved. A suggestion try to play the game without mods, or with really simple mods (no heavy or heavy script mods) and see, If your game crashes even with a simple setup with simple mods of the game, I'm pretty sure must be the video card. I hope the crashes problems get solved for anyone,is terrible spend a lot of hours setting up the game, adding mods and tweaking it, to then see does not work. *Update: I discover CM Parnters destroys the game, so I uninstalled it, I made a backup of .ini files. then verify cache of the game on Steam, some files downloaded, and use the backup of the .ini files (those on documents/mygames/Oblivion and those on Data installation game), I did that last thing to not lost my config, and now the game works without crashes  (or less)
  5. I got the same crash, seems is due a mod, I'm figuring it out what mod is causing it
  6. Is there a way I can find the mod Bribe the Guards or some similar mod, please
  7. You can always create merged mods, attaching mods on one single .esp file... hehe I have done that and pass the limit of 255 mods (I use NMM you can install more mods than 255, NMM or Wrye bash doesnot allows it)... but you must have very clear what mods are you going to merge, because just merging a lot of mods (different single .esp files along with their folders of resources: meshes, textures, sounds, etc) does not assure a stable game. You can pass the limit of +255 mods merging mods, using TES5Edit merge plugin and then add all the mod resources in a single folder and add the merged .esp file there too. The best way to pass the 255 limit without having stability problems is assuring the mods you merge are of the categories of weapons, armors, clothes, or even some minor "tweak mods" what changes a few vanilla things like lets say for example: "Change carry weight mod" for say something. You can always pass the limit of +255 mods, but be aware of concequences... It can be played with +255 mods and have a stable game, I did it once, but its need to have very clear the mods you add, know all about them, pick the "essentials" for your gameplay and "sacrifice" conflicting mods, or mods gives trouble. One thing If you plan to have more than 255 mods on your game, be assure are not heavy script mods, like overhaul or big quest mods, or the gameplay would be a mess or you would get crashes. Last thing having +255 mods doesnt meants your game must be unstable, just depends on what kind of mods do you add to your gameplay mod list, but even having a "crash free" and "perfect" installed mods, doesnt not assure a stable gameplay, due game engine mechanics, so to really make worth having +255 mods and a stable gameplay, I think is really important tweak your game but in a proper way, tweaking your .ini files, using mods or tools help improve your game stability, knowing your system capabilities, adjusting your system, the game and the mechanic settings to all be balanced according to tree main things: - Your machine features. - The game limited mechanic engine. - Your mod list (and what kind of mods have you added). Tweaking your game properly in a way those tree main aspects are in balance you would play as The Gods, If you not reach to do that, just conform with playing as a humble mortal, with issues or crashes. The Way of the Modder... a long path where one is always learning...
  8. Do not forget the tabbards and sigils :P

  12. Hello!! I'm Maredark3d or also Medieval, you can call me any of those I prefer Medieval :) I'm a modder, I love mods and I'm starting to create elaborated mods, I have some mods I have created on my nexus profile So I think would be wonderful to share in what I'm working about creating mods, with details of my project concepts and what I have developed and what is under development, I have big projects as concepts I just need to make them true creating mods, the idea to make a post about my mods under development isn't to people help me, is just for share, also to have a place I can work on my mod concepts in anyplace, I love using browser to work on my stories or projects, because I can work in anyplace, I dont need to work on a Word sheet or another tool, I just need to login on a browser, also If this entry I plan to make would have some comment time to time about opinions I know sharing my mod ideas it would be in some case "risky" because people would "stole" my ideas, but I prefer to share my ideas, make my own version of my mods and If another person create a similar version of my mods I dont have much trouble about that just mention me as credit If you use some of my content or If you got inspired by my mods or concept or project, actually I hope I inspire other modders to create mods, even would be awesome to see a similar mod created by another person before I release my own mod, also maybe to work together later So this post would be just to work about my mod concepts and what I have already done and what not The main question I ask is: - Can I use this "Skyrim Creation Kit and Modders A forum to discuss and get help with the creation kit and making mods for Skyrim." section to create an entry to my mod ideas about what I'm developing and update it time to time? This post will have detailed descriptions of my mod projects, pictures of concept and in game screenshots Is this the correct section to post this kind of content right? Please I just need to know, I dont want to post something and then have to move it to another section or just delete it by this wasn't the correct place to post this kind of content Thanks, anyone who want to comment about this I have written I will really appreciate, specially admins
  13. Hardcore, survivalism, realism roleplay is my priority. You said "create modpack for character and change profile to another modpack and character". Or i got it wrong? Actually, i want every build combination in the future. Atro-/Necro-/Pyro-/Cyro-/Aero-/Electro-/Herbo-mancer, One-Handed/Two-Handed/Dual-Wield/Fists ... :D so modpack must be very flexible and doesn't need to add new mods in the future.(For example i play Cyro-necromancer build from SkyRe but installed "Hunting in Skyrim" which includes Hunter's Guild. I pass it and continue my roleplaying. But when i bored mage things, i create sneaky archer and join the guild. So i don't add to extra mod for roleplay next time.) I don't want to modding for just one type of role playing. <ONE MODPACK TO RULE ROLE THEM ALL :D> One more thing: For example I want to mix two spell packages Apocalypse of Skyrim and Midas Magic. But with two packages, some spells might be overpowered, same function with other mod and not lore friendly so i think i need delete from packages. Or conflicts: I want "Camping in Skyrim"s leather/fur tents instead of Frostfall's tents. But there is a conflict that adds same thing.I want to delete Frosfall's. What do i need? Do i need permission from mod author for modifying mod? 1. "You said "create modpack for character and change profile to another modpack and character"", Yes and also create really Character mod profiles using Nexus Mod Manager, you can create mod profiles easily with NMM, then you just change between mod profiles and you will get just activated and installed the mods of for example Profile 1, then you can change easily to Profile 2 If you wish and so on. 2. About "One more thing" I suggest read the mods description in detail, figure it out If the mods have compatibility issues written on the mod page, If doesn't say anything you could just try it, or even If say Incompatible, sometimes refer the (two or more) mods will not work properly as intended for, in all cases the last mod on load order overwrite similar references of the mod what is up, for example If you want Apocalypse and Midas Magic and one of those have same references. on your load order would be the following: 1.- Apocalypse Mod 2.- Midas Magic That means Midas Magic will overwrite any reference Apocalypse mod have, for example If Apocalypse Mod have same reference about a spell book value (septims, gold), and also Midas mod have same references, and If Apocalypse mod value of a specific spell book is 300 for example and Midas is 400, You will get on the game the value of Midas mod instead and sometimes the value you will get on game is an average value means would be (300+400)/2= 350. also you can change values an references of mods using TES5 Edit tool but that is a bit more tedious and also more complicated but you would do it in a detailed way just seeing all you want, but seriously doing that using TES5 Edit is a huge stuff You can just make a merge patch, try to merge both mods or just use a simple batch patch using Wrye bash, oh other thing I dont recommend merging complex elaborated mods (having both mods .esp files on a single .esp file), but instead try do a merge patch 3. About Or conflicts: You can modify all the mods on your own PC If you wish, but If you want to upload and share your modified mod of other authors you must ask for permission contacting with mod authors, sending to them a Request mail, because If you publish or share content isn't yours without having permission of mod authors and specially here on Nexus, you could be on serious problems and can be banned from Nexus site affecting your account (I'm not sure If your ip dress), also If you see some mod the author already says the mod is open to use it in anyway possible as using the mod to create your own mod, you can share the mod you create using the mod of the author you used. If you have more questions feel free to ask
  14. Hehe I understand you!, Mods are life... believe me I have +250 mods and no problems, I get some crashes due my video card limitations you know when too much units, NPCs or magic are all at the same time, but despite that the game works great,it can be done, dont listen those skeptics would tell you is nonsense because they dont even try to do it... You will have to deal a lot with trial and error but you will learn along the way, I'm still learning and still tweaking my Skyrim game and It have passed years... hehe If you said you want to have +250 mods running on Skyrim I guess you have a full external disk full with mods maybe... well I have that, so If you are a mod lover as I, I suggest the following: 1.- Try to focus on your gameplay and create mod profiles on Nexus Mod Manager to manage them, I know could be hard at first, you could think all mod are indispensable, but better start thinking what kind of experience you want to have playing Skyrim. 2.- Create "Character Mod Profiles" according to your character gameplay and/or build you play, for example I have three type of characters what are really specific, an Imperial Merchant - Necromancer, so I use on that "Character mod profile" just Economy. Speech and Merchant roleplay mods, Dark Magic spell mods, perks, undead related mods. 3.- Figure it out what mods are essential to you, I love fight and battles I can't play Skyrim without fight and battle mods, specially when are out there waiting to be downloaded and installed, I don't took much attention to graphic mods because I know my limited video card can't handle such privilege, also I think some essential mods for my gameplay are UI interfaces and Sound mods, those mods aren't too much so then I can give free space to install "Character profile mods". 4.- Tweak your game the most you can in all ways possibles but in a logical and practical way, try to not fail into "placebo tweaks", tweak your ini files on documents folder, and also tweak your game folder where .exe files are, use ENBoost: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649? , doesnt need you use an ENB also works without it, but are needed ENB files to make this work, the detailed description of to do it its on nexus tool site, using ENBoost is incredible makes Skyrim use the resources are missed to use without it, in other words, ENBoost makes use of all your PC resources more efficient, also tweak the enblocal.ini file to your own preferences and PC specs. 5.- I really suggest you the following tool, LOOT: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918/? , Load order optimization, just not do what the name of the tool says, but also do an analysis of the mods and will say you If are ok or not, If they need to be cleaned with TES5 Edit tool or not and such things do an analysis of your installed mods, showing If have errors, If need to be cleaned with TES5 Edit and such things. 6.- Be aware of mod conflicts, sometimes is better to "sacrifice" a mod to the better of the game in terms of stability. 7.- Also be aware vanilla Skyrim have his own glitches and bugs, sometimes isn't just your fault or the mod fault, its just Skyrim isn't perfect. 8.- You will always be learning If you really love mods, I'm still learning, even I have learned how mod works and now I'm a modder, I have a couple of mod on my Nexus profile, also I'm very fan of Elder Scrolls, If you have Steam I invite you to add me, my nickname is Medieval3D http://steamcommunity.com/id/medieval3d/ , also I'm part of Tamrielvault a really cool site related to TES fans http://tamrielvault.com/profile/Medieval , even I'm working on a huge project about write a series of fan made books related to TES also mods related to that story, oh by the way on Tamrielvault site you will find a ton of screenshots and fanart I have took since 2013, I just can't not allows me to not take screenshots, I 'm gamer photograph also So that's it I wish I could say you I'm a veteran modder, but I'm just same as you, I started learning by my self and I'm still learning, If you are ambitious and have projects or just you are ambitious and want to play with all the mods you wish all can be possible the only thing needed is learn techniques about how all works and have a strong will I hope this commentary help you and others who pass by here to see this post  :teehee:   Happy Modding!!!!!!!
  15. Hello! Medieval (maredark3d) here, I need some help please, this is the right place to put this post, I really need some help, I need to know what mod is the following, I'm going to tell a brief description, This mod is from Skyrim SE, I have installed some mods, I have seen all the mod list and I haven't found something what says is related to change potions, the mod what I'm looking for is already installed on Skyrim SE, but I really can't figure it out what mod its... I really want to know because that mod makes the potion usage really nice and to use them on combat more challenge and I want to add that mod to my old Skyrim game, what is really challenge and hard to play, the mod simple does is to make potions of heal, stamina and magica heal over time instead instantly, also it changes the potions appearance what it's ok, I just want that mod on my old Skyrim game, I'm pretty sure is part of another mod or idk, but seriously I want t know... So this is the challenge, figure it out what mod is the following: The mod is recognizable by the particular potions shape, the mod just affects heal, stamina and magica potions Please any clues of what mod is this, If you can say the name of the mod and put the link, you will be rewarded with a fan art photoshop cool pic made by me about something you request (well If you want xP) http://tamrielvault.com/public/album_photo/24/6d/02/268b9_cba0.jpg?c=84d2 http://tamrielvault.com/public/album_photo/26/6d/02/268bb_2db3.jpg?c=ebe0 http://tamrielvault.com/public/album_photo/28/6d/02/268bd_5005.jpg?c=d48c
  16. Hello Medieval (maredark3d) here! I really enjoy play as a merchant and Your Market Stall (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35305/?) mods adds hours of fun respect role play as business man, I really love it, I tried to sent a message to the mod author wgstein but it seems he isnt able to receive messages for some reason, it is possible to at last someone could make a similar version for Skyrim SE, that would be awesome, I'm still waiting for it. I'm a moder too If the mod doesnt release to Skyrim SE, I think I'm going to figure it out to create my own version of it, seriously that mod is on first place on my Skyrim mod list
  17. Yes would be really cool, a game of Elder Scrolls about RTS, like Starcraft or Warcraft, but more complex, also with some features of Ages of Empires, would be awesome
  18. I want to say I finally solved the problem!! After months...finally I did it. The glitch was related to a mod named Advanced Mining, I'm going to paste what I put on Advanced Mining Posts, "Hello!! nice mod!, I want to say I found a compatibility glitch, took me some time to figure it out (months...),but I finally I found what was about, the glitch was, the ore veins looks empty, every source of ore vein on the game Skyrim and even Solstheim, , it was related to Advancing Mining and Ars Metallica, seems the two mods aren't compatible, and was totally related to the following scripts: MineOreScript.pex and MineOreFurnitureScript.pex. The problem was I uninstalled Advanced Mining mod, but I forgot to take out those two scripts, so I searched on script folder of the game "mine" and see these files, I put them away and I can mine ore again. Just that would be cool If would be made a compatibility patch for Ars Metallica  . Advancing Mining is a cool mod, would be even cool to have those two mod working together  " So in abstract was I had Advanced Mining scripts left on the scripts folder, I uninstalled that mod manually and I forgot to take out those two scripts, I uninstall advanced Mining because I see doesn't work with Ars Metallica, but I left those two bloody scripts xDDD... Finally the problem was solved :_) I wish to change the title of this post and put " (fixed) ", maybe could help others
