Pickysaurus's post in (Planet Zoo) New tag ideas: "Animals > Extinct", and Exhibit vs. Habitat vs. Walkthrough tags was marked as the answer
I've added those tags, they'll take a few hours to appear everywhere!

I've added this tag, feel free to start voting for it on mod pages.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex wants to copy C drive was marked as the answer
Unfortunately you've managed to break it by setting your folder to C:\
The best solution at this point is to delete the %appdata%\Vortex folder to reset it to default, but this will cause Vortex to forget which mods you have installed.

Pickysaurus's post in Catagories support was marked as the answer
This is something you can fix yourself. On the Mods toolbar, pick "Categories", and there's a button to pull the latest list from Nexus Mods.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex deleted all my documents file was marked as the answer
Vortex doesn't have any possible way to do this. I'm afraid the problem lies elsewhere.

Pickysaurus's post in [Suggestion] Mod grouping for Vortex. was marked as the answer
You can set up custom categories and then group the mods by that category.

Pickysaurus's post in Where are the profile "game settings"? was marked as the answer
Within Vortex's AppData folder, a partial INI is stored for each profile that is merged into the one for the game when the profile is selected. Any changes made to the INI while this profile is active get merged back into the partial INI and the changes are reverted when you swap out of that profile.

Pickysaurus's post in Stardew Valley - Cannot Install SMAPI on GamePass version was marked as the answer
The Game Pass version is currently not supported (which is why it is disabled by default). Unfortunately, the way we install SMAPI is incompatible with the DRM used by the Xbox launcher.
Supporting Game Pass is on the roadmap, but I've also made a ticket here: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/NexusMods.App/issues/2961
I will suggest disabling the option entirely until it works.

Pickysaurus's post in I do not know what this means. Please help. was marked as the answer
The I/O error is hardware issue with your D:\ - it might be temporary or it might be an early warning sign of an issue with that drive.

Pickysaurus's post in Getting Vortex to work with No Man's sky with symbolic links for the vortex folder was marked as the answer
I've checked with our team, and the best way to fix this is to install Vortex at the default location under C:\Program Files and use the normal Appdata location rather than a symlink. Without doing that, you may not be able to make Vortex work with your setup.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex Translation was marked as the answer
Unfortunately the extension provided is the only way. You can try looking at more complete translations for reference though.

Pickysaurus's post in vortex needs to access but is write as protected was marked as the answer
Try deleting the file mentioned in the message, restart Vortex and try again.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex wont let me switch games and i cant find the vortex.log file even when searching in the search bar was marked as the answer
Try disabling RDR2 in the extensions section and see if that resolves it?

Pickysaurus's post in Support for experimental release of UE4SS? was marked as the answer
We've recently been made aware of the beta and will look into it. It's a little annoying that the framework changed the install folder, and might be complicated to support both version mods during the transition.

Pickysaurus's post in Question about NMA integrations was marked as the answer
We've not started Skyrim integration yet so the exact features won't be known until we get there. Keep an eye on the site news or the changelogs for updates!

Pickysaurus's post in Unable to download a particular mod. Vortex or Manual. Weaponsmith Extended for Fallout4. was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, it would seem your connection is the issue. If the download is corrupt at the end of the process it means there has been significant packet loss.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex FOMOD logical changed after last update its causing crashes was marked as the answer
The FOMOD is invalid (as the error says). Here's a more in-depth explanation. https://modding.wiki/en/vortex/developer/mod-installer-repair

Pickysaurus's post in Two annoying issues with using Vortex for Cyberpunk 2077 was marked as the answer
If you're clicking "Check for updates (Full)" that would be why it's so slow. This does manually check each page, the optimised version should be considerably faster and just as accurate.
-
Pickysaurus's post in Extensions was marked as the answer
Vortex downloads extensions it requires to function automatically. You should just leave them alone.

Pickysaurus's post in Vortex cannot install mods. was marked as the answer
This looks like a case of broken .NET 6 or C++ Redistributables - or just borked permissions on your install location for Vortex. Did you install Vortex to Program Files (as is recommended)?
-
Pickysaurus's post in Borderlands 2 not existing in the games manager was marked as the answer
Borderlands 2 is not supported by Vortex.
You can see a list of supported games in the "Games" tab or by looking here: https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/

Pickysaurus's post in You have to be logged into nexus with same account was marked as the answer
Try logging out and back into Vortex. It looks like your session may be corrupted.
-
Pickysaurus's post in How to restore mod rules from a collection after user changed them (accidentally) was marked as the answer
Right-click on the collection in the Mods table. An option to do this has been added in one of the latest releases.
