LE Skyrim Noir - Murder Investigations Mod
Kairo29 replied to chocolambot's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I hope someone PMs u bout some script help, choco...id love that. Imagine a consistent stream of quest adds with the murder investigation theme. Every few months everybody is asking if u got and played the newest murder scenario. Good writing would be a must :) the idea is exciting. -
RedDead Redemption style wagon driving + multiple companion/followers mod (with ability to ride their own horses or hop in wagon back) + pursuing dragon = future epic moments in Skyrim history. I see my companion driving along a predetermined route or me driving and the rest pelting the dragon with magic bolts and arrows. the fire or frost effects on the wagon showing the close call as i step off the wagon and absorb the fallen wyrms soul... Can anyone else see this?? Lol

I too want dragons to be beastly. Want to see them scooping ppl up and dropping them, taking em up and biting them in half in middair so the remains fall back on guards, severely lowering morale lol. NPC reactions to dragons need to convey how serious it is when one shows up...i havent heard a blood curdling scream "Draaaaggooonnn!!" yet lol. I dont see NPCs diving behind cover or running into buildings/tents to avoid being spotted. The dragon chasing ppl down would set a more grim tone....the dragons are supposed to be Skyrims apocalypse...i dont feel that currently.

Im for it!

Yep to this. My char got beast blood n i noticed this needs attention. Im pretty sure theres a big werewolf specific thread elsewhere but i gotta add that feeding on a corpse and not seeing it get mangled and maimed is jarring too.

ya id like a light armor set like that :) +1

Are you still considering the option of integrating the dragons in the Blades storyline as allies against the Thalmor? Loving reading the ideas flowing on this thread. Easily my fave thread and can be one of the best mods out there if it comes to fruition. Btw, how possible is it to create new NPCs? That might help to pass storytelling to new non-canon personas than try to have non voice acted (or changed voices) moments with existing NPCs right? The comparison of the blades to the guys in dragon age is kind of the way i picture them at the moment. Not exactly of course, but similarities. I personally think this mod could be a great storytelling achievement if care is taken to have strong character development in a short amt of time...which probably will be difficult but the possibilities are plenty. Realistic options being questioned and considered and the chance to choose the one that speaks out to u will make it great.

haha interesting idea. i had a similar one just about grave digging to bury the innocent/good ppl that die, or to dispose of enemy corpses u dont want just lying around. interesting write up on the many possibilities of what to do with a dead body tho haha.

made a thread about the same theme a bit ago: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/461713-dismember-your-foe/page__p__3809791__hl__dismemberment__fromsearch__1#entry3809791 Hopefully a modder out there heres our request :)

I tried to gather a lot of horse ideas I had and other people had in this thread: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/466513-horse-or-mount-improvements/page__st__30__p__3893199__hl__horse__fromsearch__1#entry3893199 if you guys want to check it out. Upgradeable horses sounds like one to add to the list.

LE Clothing/Armor/NPCs/Everthing Effected by Weather
Kairo29 replied to brianjp07's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
+1 this would add a lot to the game. Footprints for tracking would make hunting targets so much better. If only humanoid enemies would keep running after yielding...would be fun to give em a headstart n track em down. Let them earn their second chance lol -
well depending on the difficulty lvl. if dragons are easy prey just up a notch or two ;) i try to use cover for doging ranged attacks when using the bow. but if would be nice to have a perk for dogging or jumping whild using bow attacks Yeah same here. I play on highest I think, and *I* still have a challenge from dragons. But I also don't exploit smithing and enchanting haha to keep things interesting. I've been leveling that stuff slowly. And yeah I realized early that cover helps when fighting archers after I died instantly from a headshot once lol. Being able to fire off a shot and then immediately dodge to the side might help in fighting archers when you're going shot-for-shot with one another. Or being able to initiate a roll that doesn't have to be while crouched like that one perk allows.

I always laugh when people think anime proportions and stylings = the Asian "race". Sad twisted world. I need to read up on why the Akavir* are extinct, I don't think I know that about the lore.

bump :)

Some might find this too gory, but it'd be crazy if after an attack like that, you could kind of tell there is a gash and hole in the enemy corpse. Blood puddles may be necessary. Also would like to see varied facial expressions on the faces? I impaled you, why do you look like you're peacefully taking a nap?! haha.

Lol *shrug* maybe it was just the wording. "Definitely not cool. Not even slightly." It read a bit strong as if it not being cool is a fact. No biggee. On topic: A jump to the side bow attack might be useful when fighting dragons, as in dodging out of the way of a dragon breath attack and firing. Still having a hard time picturing how fluid the controls for it would be, and also knowing that I don't think too many people struggle with dragon fights. Maybe this coupled with an "More Intense Dragons" mod or something haha. I play a character thats part archer myself.
