Hello. I've been using this ini tweak for years in my builds. To me it's essential, despite the occasional weapon equip bugs on NPC's. The bug can be avoided on the player if you just put away your weapons anyway. As for your issue: 1) The tweak requires you to favorite weapons for them to show up. 2) The tweak requires "geared up weapon" values between 1-5 for followers to use the ini tweak (under actors/equipment tab in CK I think) for NPC's to take advantage. 1-5 being the extra amount of weapons the NPC will show. Keep in mind NPC's don't know to sheath to fix visual bugs. I mainly use the tweak for myself.

UPDATE: Reinstalled Vortex (no change). I did a clean delete of all Vortex files, still nothing. Then on the next try, I waited a little longer, and noticed that this time Vortex appeared to flicker as if refreshing, then threw me a second error warning. You see, the second message popped up about two mods being incompatible (they aren't I've made them compatible myself) and am used to seeing this. Anyway, given that Vortex appeared to have "come alive", I launched one more time, and presto! To anyone who understands a connection with any of this, and how vortex works please do add something, and if moderators feel this should be moved to Vortex Technical issue, by all means. I've solved nothing, just gotten lucky, and this might happen again. For now, for whatever reason deleting plugins.txt worked. Thx.

loadorder.txt plugins.txt

Hello. So My SSE started having intermittent crashing (hanging on black screen with ENB info top left, and thats it. Just before the render window usually opens up full screen, it hangs and then I get a stopped working message form Win 7. My game has not changed, and in the past I would delete the plugins.txt from the appdata/local folder, and then the game would run after enabling all plugins via Vortex. Sometimes I'd have to do it twice, or delete the loadorder.txt too, but it would work with a few tries. However, today I can't get the game to start at all. Deleting these .txt files didnt work, with many tries. I can't be sure if this is the issue, or it's something else contributing, but it only started happening about 4 days ago. I have been updating some mods, and utilities recently. My game is heavily modded, but I'm fairly adept at modding and don't think this is a mod issue. I run SKSE64, .dll loader, ENB, loadaccel.dll (makes MCM run faster). I have NetFramework also, and fpsfix.dll, SSEdisplay tweaks, but those are all /data and their logs confirm they load successfully, and this crash is pre /data, no menu or loading wheel on main menu for this crash. I also have windowed/fullscreen enabled, and the crash happens right as the windowed screen should expand to full. I also notice that Vortex has issue with loading the plugins data in also sometimes, as it will just hang trying to load in the files. To me this seems a very early crash on launch. I even checked to see if there's a second Skyrim.esm in the plugins.text, but vortex excludes those masters from the lists. Help appreciated. EDIT: Also my car has stopped running, and crashes on startup. Lovley, I'm sure they're related.

This mod fixed the annoying game limitation on sleep and wait in oldrim, but there's been no such attempt at it in SE. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83820 Disables the regular restrictions on sleeping (like owned beds, being asked to leave, etc). Configurable.

SSE Npcs buying and moving into vanilla player homes

Good idea. Creates more diversity for multiple characters, and play throughs. -
Hey. I have nearly zero knowledge of 3D modeling. I have nifskope and have extracted some vanilla boot meshes, because the feet are too small for many of the male ones. I have the meshes saved and they appear changed in nifskope but they won't load in game as changed. All I did was up the scale on toe nodes and some feet nodes.

Do you have amidianborn content.esp active? Its known to cause this issue. You need to ad delevel and relevel tags to the .esp in Wrye Bash then re run the bashed patch. Also have you tried clicking on the npc in console and typing resetinventory to see if the get clothes? If they dont get clothes this way then they may have had their default outfits removed somehow. I don't see a bashed patch in your load order. You should get to know Wrye Bash, just search it in the mods search bar on skyrim nexus.
-
Their is no issue. What the dirty edits refer to are always loaded in game, its just they are not flagged as edited in the .esm anymore after its cleaned.
-
This happens sometimes when you install and uninstall mods that alter lvl lists. Its harmless and will fix on its own in time. You need to reset the cells. Go inside and wait for 30 days, or use console commands to alter cell respawn times. Rerun the bashed patch and move it way down in load order. Now, In the console, type: set timescale to 1000000 Close the console. Wait a few seconds until 31 in-game days have passed. Open the console again and type set timescale to 20 Manually save your game again in another new slot. Quit to desktop. Now restart and load the last save.

Last I tried I was unable to use the newest version of enb binary because it crashed my steam launcher, or one of the launchers... I can used the older versions fine and haven't gone back to mess with it since. Im using realvison 262a with nvidia also.

Daytime Way too Bright (CoT, RLO RV ENB)
stuff444 replied to PsyckoSama's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The brightness actually looks ok to me, but the bloom might be a bit high. Just go into skyrim game folder and look for enbseries.ini these are my values form my .ini. below. Just tweak your own file till you get it looking good, and make a backup first. [bLOOM] and [ENVIRONMENT] <<< are the two headers you need to look into, and probably the values. Characters aren't retaining changes made in the Creation Kit
stuff444 replied to vanitusgamer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Just a guess, but try adding the .bsa archive for what ever mod it is to your skyrim .ini under the [Archive] section. -
Missing master file probably. If you have a mod utility program like WryeSmash or Mod Organizer or even a skyproc patcher, you can have the program do the work for you. Not much anyone can do unless they are familiar with all those .esp file names.

I have nearly 3000 hours played since 2011 and 500 in CK. And as Hyac says many hours of mod surfing and the inevitable trouble shooting :/. I usually mod my game in spurts. I get it stable and play for a while, then get the itch to change things , add new content, and then binge mod (not recommended). :P I'm in the midst of one right now. I've merged maybe 50 .esp's in the last few hours so I can add more mods! So far game runs fine *crosses fingers... Skyrim is without a doubt the best game I've ever played (mods included), without them maybe like 20th? If it wasn't for all the great mods, and the "modability" of the game I would have moved on years ago.

@Nachtmahr777 Wrong thread dude. You're ruining the mood here :p @Ghosu Thanks for all the great mods and the time and effort it took to make them. Also, good to know you're going into helping people help people! We all have to keep on our toes and recognize that growing up in a society governed by the pursuit of profit inevitably leads to division among the population.

Characters aren't retaining changes made in the Creation Kit
stuff444 replied to vanitusgamer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Try renaming facegenData and faceGeom folders Afacegendata Afacegeom. Then export the face data again, load game and see if its fixed. If it is, then you'll need to merge the file from the original folders back into the new ones, without overriding the new files. If its not fixed at least you know its not a facedata issue. Could it be there needs to be an .ini change to allow this file to be loaded by skyrim as a master? Just a guess. I tried. -
Glad it stopped. Just try to keep on guard with saves, sometimes you just have to go back to an earlier one to fix the issue. Example: I recently deleted all the older saves, because I assumed all my characters saves were working as normal and my save folder was getting huge. Well, all of mine were fine, but my brother's most recent save was corrupted, and you can't go any were near lake view manor or you get a ctd. Its probably a one in a thousand chance, but it happened, and my dumdass deleted all the older saves  TES5Edit: Install it in you game folder Cleaning masters is the same as cleaning any .esp files from mods. Just use the list that LOOT gave you for dirty edits.

So, here is my query. I cannot get crossbows, be they vanilla or mod added, to change their fire rate. I have never been able to do this in my game at all, as long as Ive been trying it at least. I have seen several mods on the nexus that say they alter crossbow reload times, but they aren't changing anything that im not already changing. Example: Ghosu mentions changing the speed of his rifles in a blase manner on his video @ 1:48 here Again nothing new to me, Ive been tweaking bow and weapon speeds in skyrim for almost 4 years now and as far as I can tell it always works (xbows excluded). However, in my game with anything crossbow based I get no changes at all. Everything seems stuck at speed 1.00. Does anyone have a hunch as to why this might be happening? Maybe everyone else is just assuming and you cant actually change this variable on xbows?

First off you need to make it clear that this is a save issue, or mod issue. Have you just started a new game? Is this happening on all saves, or has it just started? Stuff like this will help you and others to know were to start. Load up your newest file. Open console and type player.kill, wait for reload and save in new slot to see if it worked (I doubt it will). I have had the crash on save/zoning bug before, and had to go back to an earlier save. It seems to me it can be a game issue and not mod related sometimes. Also, sometimes saves can become corrupted, even with very little mods installed. I have played skyrim for 4 years now, and have saved nearly 17,000 times! Out of these saves maybe only 15 or so have had major issues. If its a corrupted save there is likely no solution other than go to earlier saves. Quick tips: try renaming your mesh folder, then loading up the game to see if the problem is fixed. Bad meshes or mesh conflicts can cause issues like this. Clean your mods as others have suggested with TES5Edit. EDIT: You will need to get SKSE installed http://skse.silverlock.org/ , and enable the memory fix by locating the SKSE .ini file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE There is absolutely no reason to not have SKSE, even if no mods require it, the memory fix will help out in the future. Just copy and paste these lines, and if you don't have the file create it with "new text document" [General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

Pretty simple. The dwarven shield clips through the arm. Needs a fix / re mesh right?
