  1. You are very welcome WarmeratNorth, glad it worked. Phew!    Regards, northener69  Just hope i don't get inundated with mod requests now.....time to escape! Where's my ship? :pirate: And credits to the original author keltoigael and of course moneyman192.
  2. Hi WarmeratNorth I made this in a rush as i'm not playing NMS at the moment until they fix the friggin' game, but i heard your cries so try this. I haven't tested it and i haven't decompiled the very latest Synthesis files but it should work, i think.   He/she basically turned things from True to False and halved a few shake settings more or less. But it was simple enough to do and if it doesn't work someone might make it compatible with whatever version you're running. I can't mess with it if it doesn't as i'm having a break from it all. :ermm:  http://www.filedropper.com/nomansdrunksynthesis <<< Just hoping i did pack it with the very latest mbincompiler, which reminds me i must remove the older ones....... :ermm:   If it doesn't work and spiritz has decompiled the latest files it's an easy copy paste as i'm sure he'll do it. It took me about a minute to do, give or take. Regards, northener69  Oh and your English is fine mate. Well i hope i understood your request???
  3. Looks like the new mbincompiler 2.22.0-pre4 works as i've just made a 10x base boundary on Synthesis that seems to work. I plonked a flag down and my build menu before the mod wouldn't build anything, but when i add the base boundary mod it works. Wonder how many other broken mods will work now. :ermm:
  4. Hi vogelap069 DazShipFlight is the probable cause, firstly it's for Beyond and probably not updated for Synthesis. After each update of NMS there's a high chance that most if not all your mods are useless unless updated and even if the game doesn't necessarily crash they can conflict with the updated game. I suggest disabling all mods and check that there are up to date mods for Synthesis or that they work fine according to the mod maker if he/she has stated on their mod page. Only use the most recent mods updated for the specific update to minimise issues. Lo2k is probably the best on Nexus for keeping up to date regarding his mods. https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/880 Regards
  5. Hi Spiritz I've been messing with the battery and oxygen storage and the small power generators for Synthesis. I got fed up as i built a base in Beyond first and found a power source that was out of range and hated having to have a zilion solar panels/batteries/generators so i increased them all. Solar panel up from 50 to 250 for example so maybe someone would like power and storage tweaks. I increased my oxygen storage from 1250 to 12500, obviously i'm still finding the sweet spot as don't want to make it too easy but after downloading some power mods they fudged the gas storage ie: capacity/pipeline issues and some affected the solar panels from opening so made my own from scratch. I'm still messing with it but you you could make various sizes from it x2, x5, x10 from default etc.
  6. Then it seems as no surprise it's Synthesis that's more than likely the issue.
  7. Hi vogel, first you need to reset your fov without any mods running to make sure it isn't a mod, compatible or not. If it's fine without a mod running then you know it's a mod, then it's try each mod until you find the culprit. If it still looks zoomed without any mods then Synthesis is the most likely culprit, every one of NMS updates have had issues.
  8. Nice post Grimms, While i don't have a gaming laptop anymore this is still a good post and you obviously took some time to write it. Nice one buddy.
  9. Here's Beyonds draw distance modded... And hitting 100fps at 1440p everything on ultra with Gsync. Much better eh HG? FFS! Modders fixing the game HG can't be *ssed to do themselves and thanks again to monkeyman192.....LEGEND! There wouldn't be mods without him. A link to hosting site I thought I should leave in. Fairs fair as they say.free pic host
  10. I've gone past the sorrows but when you think i have about 100 mods/tweaks running on Visions it doesn't bode well for Beyond/Synthesis.   I've separated Beyond 2.16 from my Synthesis install and will start modding Beyond now as i always play and edit one game behind HG because they can't f@#k it up with patches etc!   And i'll hold you to that beer young man, even though you never actually offered. My landing pad anim' removal and ships facing outwards mod is already moved over and even works on Synthesis and i'm going to move my Visions RaYRoD Dynamic Space mod over to Beyond, that's quite a bit of work. And hopefully my fellow modder will release his station mod to the general public, although i have a beta already.
  11. You take away all the eye candy from Beyond/Synthesis and it's still the same game underneath as Visions/Next and so on. You start on a planet, repair your ship, fly to new worlds, find multi-tools, ships, freighters, missions, build bases. farming and make a ton of money trading or killing pirates or raiding and that's pretty much it. It's all bells and whistles, it's still the same game with it's misdirection of hey look what we've added, yeah we've ruined your bases now by adding f@#king wires and s***........enjoy!   I love and hate this game at the same time, i just wish they'd focus on fixing it, that's all i've asked them in zendesk but they don't seem to care! They said 297 fixes when Synthesis was released if i recall and that's not all of them, and this is 3 years since the game was released, maybe i should count all the bug fixes this game has had, it's easy enough as i have all the bug fixes listed in numerous text files and just need to average the lines in the text. I'm too scared to look.
  12. Well i've already done ship resizes in Visions but you'll love this screenshot! What were they thinking, obviously devoid of thought! :ermm:  Yeah let's increase the ship sizes but not the main station! Obviously i reported this back when Beyond was released but guess what, it's still here! My point is they're too busy trying to please everyone by releasing these free but broken updates. You only have to trawl the various forums to see how much is broken. I don't have the time to post all the one's i know about, thankfully a modder has made a station mod redesign that fixes that stupid oversight above as i've already got the mod in my mods list to try out (bribed him with candy). Another reason they need to release an official mod tool so us modders can fix their friggin game!
  13. Yeah exactly, what's the point? But this is one of numerous issues with this game that has continued since release but covered up with a sticking plaster to distract the player from the problems this game has. :ermm:
  14. HG are obviously clueless, i made a base that took a while to get a nice layout to the point i put lights on my landing pads in each corner nice and neat. Now the idiots slap a f@#king electrical socket on the back which means i now have to run more f@#king wires to my landing pad. All i need now is a giant spider to make a nest in my base. They stick the socket on the light but don't bother putting one on the gas extractor, apologies if i got the extractor name wrong. Jeez i could fill this forum with issues and i've sent HG numerous zendesk screenshots and here we are with many of the same issues and new ones to boot! Piece of sh*t, so back to Visions!! And how many asteroids do we need in space, jeez! Thanks to monkeyman192 for at least giving modders the tool to make this game at least playable. If it wasn't for monkeyman192 i wouldn't be playing this game at all, i really wouldn't! Rant over, unless i get a fanboy crying tears all over this rant! I watched a video of some guy scrapping his ship and buying extra slots, and he got to a point where it was costing 50 million for a slot, it's cheaper to buy a 48 slot hauler. Again this is all window dressing to hide the mess underneath! :ermm:
  15. I try to get away from Visions i really do, Beyond was okay but Synthesis to me is just going backwards. They're trying to run before they can walk and the game suffers for it, i fired it up and flew my ship but before that it stuttered like f@#k and the texture pop was dreadful. In the screenshot below you'd think i was on a barren planet but i'm not, in Visions you can see at greater distances but this trash it pops up right in front of you and i'm not even going that fast. Just dreadful, how can they release this sh*t? And don't get me started on the other issues, and these aren't knew issues either! Take away the fancy clothes and underneath it's nothing more than a tramp! The top image is Synthesis using Vulkan and the bottom is Visions using the old Opengl. Yes it looks prettier but what's the point of that if it plays like a turd and the terrain objects aren't even in view until they smack you in the face? And yes the fps is 90+ in Vulkan above and 60+ in Opengl but there's eff all on screen in Synthesis! The middle one is Beyond 2.16, while better than Synthesis those plants just popped right in front of me, so again pretty poor. Probably suffering from CONSOLE-ITUS!
  16. Here's the mod i made for Visions working on Synthesis, just for fun. Basically disabling the animated flower and ships facing outwards. Credits to JJhookah for helping with many things these past weeks and putting up with my incessant ramblings, top man.  Running on Synthesis 2.22. Just as i took the screenshot i noticed it was an S-Class fighter so i bought it! Credits to monkeyman192 who without his mbincompiler we wouldn't have any mods at all. 17. Hi Spiritz I'm using Virgin Media 350mb, I wouldn't use anything else. Not much use for a biogenerator in Visions but i've separated my Beyond 2.16 install from Synthesis so might start editing that (2.16) while HG continue to f@#k Synthesis up. As for breaking anything, anything is possible when it comes to NMS but i can assure you i won't break anything as much as HG.
  18. Hi mattamac230 I'm sure Spiritz666 will be on here later and may offer to help, selfishly i don't mod Beyond, well not yet that is. There used to be low flight mods around but not sure if they're up to date but the file to edit if i recall is GCSPACESHIPGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN and there's loads of settings to play with. Have a go yourself mattamac230, it's not that hard and i only started fairly recently.
  19. Yeah another back port of another mod, why? Because it improves Visions immersion somewhat and i enjoy the challenge. :geek: Credits to ScorpinosGamer for adding the turrret light beam (so cool) and sixsocket and kurzondax for the original and updated vehicle light mods. And credits to monkeyman192 who without his mbincompiler we wouldn't have any mods at all, and i'd be absolutely miffed because NMS sucks balls without mods! I tried Synthesis on experimental and it still won't pry me away from Visions. It's like a fancy new dress with rips and holes in it, not impressed! It's almost there but not quite for me. :ermm:  A link to hosting site I thought I should leave in. Fairs fair as they say.free pic host
  20. I was playing Visions and couldn't remember if there was an S-Class Launcher and i couldn't find it so i got rid of the cheap and nasty B-Class and created an S-Class with 3 variations. I made a -50, -60 and a -80 cost reduction and changed the default basic build items to 5* Antimatter and 2* Cobalt Mirrors which i might tweak depending on the one i use. I know Beyond has this in abundance but i'm not playing Beyond, i uninstalled it until they stop f@#king about with it. Credits to monkeyman192 who without his mbincompiler we wouldn't have any mods at all. A link to hosting site I thought I should leave in. Fairs fair as they say.free pic host
  21. Hi Spiritz I thought i'd lift your spiritz by wishing you well as in hope you get well soon mate. Anyway i've zipped the defaultreality from Visions if that helps as i'm having a break today and installing Linux POP OS 19.10 as i'm going to see if Linux is a viable gaming option over Windows. I'm getting fed up with this over bloated turd that is Windows 10. As for the Silver platter i know that feeling because my zen master is JJhookah and boy did he make me look for things and he certainly showed me the easier ways of doing things when i had similar results but doing it the hard way. I did a mod that edited 8+ files and he did the same thing for me editing only 2. Same result in the end but his was much simpler. I gave myself more credit because i did it the hard way.   Anyway get well mate, happy editing. http://www.filedropper.com/defaultrealityvisions
  22. Hi Spiritz That section above is identical pretty much between 2.16 and Visions 1.77 but it is below that section where the differences begin in the trade edit. Where it differs for example, below is from Visions 1.77 Line 13630 <Property name="MinItemsForSale" value="28" /> <Property name="MaxItemsForSale" value="48" /> <Property name="PercentageOfItemsAreProducts" value="0.65" /> <Property name="BuyPriceIncreaseRedThreshold" value="5" /> <Property name="BuyPriceDecreaseGreenThreshold" value="-5" /> <Property name="SellPriceIncreaseGreenThreshold" value="5" /> <Property name="SellPriceDecreaseRedThreshold" value="-5" /> <Property name="MinAmountOfProductAvailable"> <Property value="20" /> <Property value="50" /> <Property value="150" /> </Property> <Property name="MaxAmountOfProductAvailable"> <Property value="50" /> <Property value="100" /> <Property value="280" /> </Property> <Property name="MinAmountOfSubstanceAvailable"> <Property value="450" /> <Property value="2250" /> <Property value="5000" /> </Property> <Property name="MaxAmountOfSubstanceAvailable"> <Property value="1500" /> <Property value="3500" /> <Property value="6500" /> </Property> <Property name="MinExtraSystemProducts"> <Property value="2" /> <Property value="6" /> <Property value="10" /> And below is Beyond unedited Line 4897 <Property name="MinItemsForSale" value="15" /> <Property name="MaxItemsForSale" value="18" /> <Property name="PercentageOfItemsAreProducts" value="0.5" /> <Property name="BuyPriceIncreaseRedThreshold" value="10" /> <Property name="BuyPriceDecreaseGreenThreshold" value="-5" /> <Property name="SellPriceIncreaseGreenThreshold" value="5" /> <Property name="SellPriceDecreaseRedThreshold" value="-10" /> <Property name="MinAmountOfProductAvailable"> <Property value="10" /> <Property value="40" /> <Property value="80" /> </Property> <Property name="MaxAmountOfProductAvailable"> <Property value="40" /> <Property value="80" /> <Property value="180" /> </Property> <Property name="MinAmountOfSubstanceAvailable"> <Property value="250" /> <Property value="1250" /> <Property value="3000" /> </Property> <Property name="MaxAmountOfSubstanceAvailable"> <Property value="1000" /> <Property value="2500" /> <Property value="5000" /> </Property> <Property name="MinExtraSystemProducts"> <Property value="1" /> <Property value="3" /> <Property value="5" /> As you can gather from the line numbers Visions has a lot more lines of code as opposed to Beyond. I could copy those value differences to the Beyond file if you'd like and you can tweak it as you see fit. Regards, northener69  EDIT: Here's a quick modded defaultreality from 2.16 with edits from my 1.77 version. Use a file compare site or program to see what's been edited. There were a few lines not in 1.77 that are in 2.16 that i added in for you. I could just make this for Beyond but i'm getting lazy.  http://www.filedropper.com/defaultreality
  23. It's just a shame HG break more than they fix, anyway nice one Groovaholic.
  24. WTF don't they give us a manual input? If i have 3000+ items i want to buy i just go to 500 then hit buy several times instead of holding it down until i hit 3000+ for example. It's much quicker but they do seem a little clueless with this game of theirs. :ermm:
