  1. Why is it that Aurora is the same price no matter where you take it? It should be more expensive at The Key because of high demand, it should be more expensive in UC space because they spend a lot of effort fighting it. Non-Fish protein products should be worth literal gold on Neon. I'm sure there's a lot of products that are hard to get across systems that could make a cargo hauler's life worth massive bank.
  2. I like this idea. You'll make sure you have round trip fuel before you leave anywhere, and it makes outposts much more useful. But I would suggest that you should be able to cross the entire map twice with one tank.
  3. https://shadow.tech/ So if you're thinking about a PC upgrade and aren't personally ready to commit to an RTX card, I have to highly recommend trying out Shadow. A fresh install of Fallout 4 and a typical set of mods (100 for me) and Fallout 4 is far more stable than my desktop. Originally I wanted to try out Shadow to see if the power difference between streaming my game from a remote high powered PC was vaguely cost effective on based on electricity usage from a home based high powered gaming PC. My electric bill didn't seem to have any difference, which is discouraging considering I'm partially retired and was gaming about 60+ hours per week on an 800+ watt PC vs a 60 watt laptop. I feel like there's some other issue, maybe with power billing. Anyway, a great side effect turned out to be the amazing stability I got on Fallout 4 with a fresh dedicated machine, my remote Shadow. I can handily run FullHD on my 50/5Mb connection with Shadow set to use 25Mb transfer rate. The responsiveness is frankly amazing considering the functionality, and that's running on my fanless i7y 2 in 1 ultrabook, which is not a gaming machine by any stretch! Literally my phone runs games faster. Currently there's one major disadvantage, and it's drive space. You're only given 256gb for your system at this time. That means with a 100gb Fallout 4 install, and 15gb of Vortex data I don't have a lot of room for other titles. Fortunately with a connection speed of 1000/100Mbps it's relatively quick to download a different game to play. But for $35/month, it's way cheaper than the investment to build a comparable PC and keep it up to speed... and reports are that optional additional drivespace will become available after the relatively new company finishes supporting the rest of the US. As I understand it some EU users already have an additional tb of drive space available.
  4. Just like there was a mod in Skyrim for glowing ore we need the same for Fallout 76. I was looking into seeing if I could just do it, but I got stuck in 2 places, finding the texture to edit, or finding the nif to change what texture it specifies to load. :-( I'll take help either way, making the mod myself or upvoting someone else's glowing ore mod.
  5. I don't run with player audio enabled because I don't expect anyone in game to be constructive or creative, and I don't really want any help from anyone.
  6. I'd personally like to see the Fallout 76 10mm SMG get backported to Fallout 4.
  7. Today this is not a browser or user issue. There's a bug in the Nexus site code that looks like it probably got deployed sometime today, or this morning UK time.
  8. It's not an issue with the servers, but a programmer error here: SyntaxError: unexpected token: ':' BBoC-1539759760.js:654:16 The Nexus Team will have to check and see what got deployed and broke everything and either roll it back or deploy a fix for the file.
  9. In response to post #64176886. #64177336 is also a reply to the same post. @Twilightkitten, I'm sure NexusMods would prefer to have an in house advertising team reaching out to potential big companies, but the scale of that operation and it's cost are WAY outside the capabilities of the NexusMods team or the scope of it's userbase. If game modding were ubiquitous with all non-competitive games as much as it is for Bethesda titles, then it might have enough market to be a potential option, but running an advertising network is an enormous undertaking.
  10. My bounty is now closed do to this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34741 which solves the automatron quest and robot building issue. Thanks to anyone who read my post and thought about the effort involved, and thanks to MarkyRocks for actually getting in there and making it happen. Congrats bro.
  11. I'd like to second this request and in addition commit $10 to the mod maker who gets the Robot Workbench working in VR.
  12. So Vortex as of version 0.14.1 can't edit your game ini files if they are under OneDrive. It was giving me issues with that and then with all sorts of other weird issues with writing files to the game folders which weren't in OneDrive. I set windows to view my Personal Documents folder back to a non-managed folder, and then moved out all those files from various games off OneDrive and into that Personal Documents folder, and Vortex seemed to like that much better.
  13. After playing through Hole in the Wall for the 4th time I finally realized what the problem was with the syringer, it's ammo isn't in any levelled list. Of course the crafting requirements being so high are a big deal too, not just the perks but also the materials. So if one could buy ammo or materials for it's ammo for it from any or all of the medicine, chem, or weapons dealers that would make it a much more usable device, in addition there should be boatloads of it in various med centers, and you should find the ultimate cache at Parsons of course. If someone were to mod this up and then add in a bunch of additional ammo and increase the duration, then the idea of a non-lethal playthrough could actually be a more realistic idea. But the primary issue with all the existing syringer mods is the lack of ammo acquisition. You find every other ammo type ALL over the place, you should find syringer ammo around too, even if maybe a little less or maybe in specific places.
  14. You deserve a medal for finding that, thanks.
