  1. WIndows mode does enable low end computers to player on medium settings.
  2. Master difficult has always been a bit to easy. So it is probability that your skills have improved a bit. 10 levels is about 50-100 more hp too so that could make a big difference. Still I only had difficulty at the early levels of master difficult. Once you get gear things become very easy.
  3. The crafting perks are all game changing and easily break the game. Enchanting turns all armor into mage gear. Smithing craft the best weapons in the game at a early level. Alchemy greatly improves your other 2 crafting perks as well as gives you easy to make potions. As far as magic resist you only need this on master level otherwise you have enough time to use heals/potions. Archery is the best offensive perk tree, once you have leveled it. Once archery and sneak are maxed the game becames stupidly easy, sneak shot, stand, crouch, sneak shot. the first shot should kill anyone. Steady hand (50% slow time), Deadly aim (3xsneak damage), and archers hit as hard as 2h uses before the multipliers.
  4. The only downside i can thing of it that you will not be able to get a daily income since your partner is your follower. Whoever you marry will set up a shop in your house.
  5. So far the only object in house that has been eating my items are the bookcases. I like to collect the skill books when i see them.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01zTnUem3yE&feature=player_embedded Deadly dragons mod is the only one I know that makes dragon fights challenging on all level. Still try master level difficult and if you think the dragons are not hard then this mod is for you. It turns dragons fight into a real event instead of some mob you 2shot.
  7. How about a mod that improve the armor of enemies once you hit the upper levels 51-81. I am getting tired of seeing bandits in fur/leather when I enter a dungeon. How about seeing bandits with orcish/ebony, falmer with dwarven armor, draugr with dragon armor.
  8. If you fast travel a lot you will see a ton of dragons, visiting the dragon lairs they respawn every few days. Also the stagger effect on spells makes it easy to deal with dragons. Not sure how to increase the dragon spawn rate. Still I always seem to find a ton of them when I do not want to.
  9. The following represents what Bethesda's officially released specifications for Skyrim are, according to BethBlog. It is also important to note that even if a system meets these, it may still have very low performance. According to Pete Hines on Twitter: "The Min specs get you playing. The recommended specs let you play on High, not on Ultra. You'll want [a] beefier rig for that." Graphic setting based off of your graphic card. Most of the common video cards are listed. I looked for my graphics card and it is not even on the list, so it is an uncommon gpu. Still I am able to get medium setting high fps while playing in windows mode. Before my last computer broke, its gpu lasted 5yrs or so before it was out of date. This computer I have now is in its 3rd year.
  10. So people do not know how to optimize their computer for this game. I have a old none gaming computer, so I have everything set-up for performance. Nvidia tweek guide helps a lot when you are trying to get the maximum performance out of your computer. Anyways with this guys fps in the tweak guide with the various resolutions: 60fps=1280-1024, 40fps=1680-1050, 32fps=1920-1200, 28fps=2560-1600. You can see that your resolution has the largest impact on fps. Also, running your game in windows mode GREATLY improves fps in game. Simple Borderless Windows enables you to play in fullscreen windows mode.
  11. After awhile you will have to much gold. I ended my first pay through with 400k gold and that is with me only loot 100x value items after I got my houses. Really nothing left to buy after your crafting skills are max. So you do not have to loot a lot of items just the high value or useful ones.
  12. I fast travel a lot during my first playthrough. Now I am just running everywhere and fast traveling only if i had to use a strength potion to carry items. It seems like corpses despawn faster now.
  13. I normally use healing magic after combat, since you can easily use the potions in your inventory during combat. Sword and board vs Dual wield just depends on your play-style. For the OP do not worry about perks, since their is a lot of time to decide what skills your hero is primarily using. I started out trying to be a mage but ended up using my 2h more so than my magic. So if I put a lot of perks into my destruction early I would have wasted them. Enemies scale with your skills, so if you have 18 skills a 40 you will see harder enemies than if you have 4 skill at 70 and the rest at 15. Endgame archers can hit as hard as a 2h user and that is before any of the multiplers(3x sneak, 2.5 crit), but 2h users can clear a room and kill their companion with sweep power attacks. Also, I would avoid putting any perks into heavy/light armor unless you are dieing a lot (meaning you are playing on masters).
  14. Well crudius I had that much armor because of perks, but having a 1800 damage bow I do not know how someone can get that without one of the bugs(restoration bug, enchanting bug). That deadly dragons mod is something that should only use after getting daedric weapons/armor, since max smithing breaks the game early on. Seems like deadly dragon mods' Hard mode ancient dragon has something like 9k hp. Crudius do you know of a mod that improves shouts for master because I only use them for their debuff effects?
  15. Well I did not start my first playthrough on master I just turned the difficult up after I felt that adept was to easy with my gear. Yes starting a game on masters would feel very difficult but everyone who saids that masters is easy are people that have 100 smithing. Leveling smithing is way to easy when compared to the other perks and easily breaks the game. My first play through it took me 500 weapons to max smithing and over 2200 potion to max alchemy. The crafting system is messed when all smiths sell large amount of iron and rare materials(ebony/moonstone) every day. My second play through I am not abusing the crafting system and I notice how big of a difference having daedric armor is. Also, npc executes you if they can kill you in one hit. Most of my deaths on my 2nd playthrough are due to 2h enemies can do that due because of my low armor. 567 armor is 80% damage reduction, so I assume my 110 armor is like 15% damage reduction. Still odd getting executed in 2 hits from people with steel weapons even thou I have 300hp.
  16. Atm their is not rewarding end game (50-81) all of the enemies do not grow in power. Past lvl 50 you would expect to see bandits in armor higher than steel but no the only thing that improve is their hp. Really their is not point to exploring after you realize that the best gear comes from smithing. My first play through I just explored the entire map until I got bored, 400k gold and nothing to buy just silly.
  17. Yes smithing can improve your daedric bow far bound what a bound bow can do, but are you willing to break the game early on? Once you max out smithing early the rest of the game becoming pointless and easy even on masters.
  18. End game, exploration, and scaling. Leveling smithing gives you the best weapons in the game and that makes exploration really pointless. Why explore a new cave when you already have daedric weapons? The artifact weapons should be the best weapons in the game but they are not even though you need high level smithing to enhance them past flawless to lengendary. Enemies stop scaling past level 50 and if you are an explorer you will hit lvl 50 around the time you have explored half of the map. After level 50 you would expect to see enemies with gear above steel/fur, but no same old enemies you can 1/2 shot.
  19. After clearing pretty much the entire map you will realize that their needs to be a better gold dump. I have made so much gold I just waste it on pointless stuff now. I use to pick up all items in a dungeon, I stopped doing that after I got my house around lvl 25 or so. Now lvl 70, I only pick up item worth 100x their weight in gold(2-3items a dungeon) and I still have 400k gold.
  20. Well that infinite text bug does not end with any of the dialog commands. So it would be nice if someone knows the console command to remove marakarth bounty. My bounty their is 50k or so. It may be possible to fix this glitch by going back into the Temple of Talos again and killing the guards in there and paying the bounty. I am just rarely in Marakarth to try.
  21. Seems like everyone talking about an advanced MMO. No one is willing to invest $200 to start a game, but with an MMO people will pay that much and more overtime. I played wow for about 5yr. It cost me $60 original game, 3xpac around $40 per xpac, and 60months of play $12-15 a month. So 5yr for $900-1080. I normally would buy 4-5games a year and over 5yr that would cost about $1000-1250 but I really did not play any other game during my time in WOW. Off-topic free-to-play mmo enable companies to make more money than subscription base mmo. This is due to people do not realize how much money they are spending with small transactions. It is easy for kids to spend way to much money thinking it is only a few $5 item. I read about people that waste over $100 dollars in a day gambling for some in-game items to make your character slightly better.
  22. You have to look at multiple websites to find their HP. Also, most of the outdoor enemies scale with your level. I have not found anything about enemy armor values, but you need 567armor to hit the 80% armor cap. Dragon 900hp-Ancient Dragon3100hp Draugr 50hp-Draugr Deathlord1500hp Mammoth 900hp Giant 600hp Hagraven 470 hp Frost Troll 460hp Caver Bear 450hp Bear 260hp Spriggans 195hp Sabre Cat 150hp Ice Wolf 135hp Vampire 35hp-Volkihar Master Vampire968hp Falmer 180hp-Falmer Shadowmaster 760hp Dwarven Sphere 315hp-615hp Bandit 35hp-Bandit Chief 500hp Dwarven spider 120hp-220hp
  23. If dragons are to easy turn the difficult up. On masters you will need resist to survive their breath attack. I am a Dark elf so elder/ancient fire breaths are easy to survive but elder/ancient frost breath will one shot me. You will still need resist to deal with caster on master that will one shot you as well.
  24. It won goty because of the first couple of hours of gameplay, but once you have played it for awhile you see some of the game breaking bug you will think otherwise. Why mine ore when you can buy all of the ore you need from the merchants and level up blacksmithing in 2days. Ebony ore is only at the throat of the world yet, every merchant somehow finds a way to have 3-5 bars in stock how it that? Level up the 3 crafting perks, to make the best gear in the game this makes exploring for anything else pointless. Their is no real end game, when you go beyond lvl 50 by explore and experimenting with other weapons, the enemies are still very weak even on masters. With any rpg I expect to find one dungeon that is challenging for people that have the best gear but their are none. End game is more about doing pointless side missions. So to sum it up: merchants have to high of a chance of selling ores/ingots for high end gear, exploring is pointless when it is possible to max crafting early, no compelling storyline, and lack of endgame. The amount of exploring is nice taken that the world is the size of an mmo, but Bethesda did not think about how people could exploit the crafting/merchant system. Modders will fix this issues next month :P.
  25. Magicka Regen The site saids you regen 3% of your max mana out of combat and 1% your max mana in combat. Also, holding down a spell cast stops mana regen, so when you are holding a dual cast spell waiting for a perfect shot on a flying dragon you are not gaining magicka. Still it is best to enchant reduce magicka cost gear.
