  1. I would like this as well. I have multiple mods so I have a pack with the Robodogs, Shie the wolf, Shadow the Dark Husky, and my Glowing Wolf from the beast master mod. More dogs would be lovely. Russian Wolfhounds, Dobermen pinchers, Golden Retriever, maybe even a Pomeranain.
  2. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11448/? This lets you play movies in game. However Homemaker modifies the Televisions and the ones you craft won't work. Tv's already build will though. I was wondering if someone could make some stand alone Tvs, not just the 2 types in game but a few extra (bigger) ones so we can watch the Tv in game. =3 Just because it's nifty. I'd do it myself but got a headache trying to figure the blasted thing out.
  3. I keep seeing it, presets, ENBoost. Supposed to help with video ram uses and a bunch of other things. However there is so many different things, none of them explaining ENB itself. What do I download? How do I use it. What I find on the net is written by people used to it for people who are also used to it. I've seen other novices who are just as clueless as I.
  4. While not what you're looking for, this mod changes up the power armor to more resonable setup. I mean a 10mm handgun shooting you through the armor? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7515/? The Power armor takes all damage, except DoTs, until the piece breaks.
  5. Who else would love to build one of those bots from Dr Who? Plenty of sound bytes and videos to give a lot of voice comments. https://youtu.be/mxD-5z_xHBU
  6. Mirelok queen, that acid bombardment and massive shell. You could get alot of defense out of it, must weigh a ton though as thick as it would be, High Physical and Acid resistance, medium Energy resistance, +weight Also, mirelok king is known for having stealth capabilities. At least according to the loading screen.
  7. This has happened repeatedly. I'm building a wall, floor, setting up furniture and BAM. someone decides to stand right in front of me. Over and Over and Over again. I don't want the red build anywhere mod. I just want something that will let me place while ignoring an npc. I've looked, couldn't find anything matching it. I know since I use unlimited companions to let me have my 3 robo dogs, dogmeat, Shei and Shadow I have it a bit worse than vanilla but... AUGH!
  8. If you don't travel alone get Aya or build a Robot of your own design. Give them the tesla field ability, soon as anything passes close to the thing the field grabs their agro and while your bot fights you can circle behind and shoot it in the back.
  9. I checked around and found a couple mods that deal with changing settings that could help you out. Try them one at a time, most probably won't do anything but you never know. One affects your graphic settings, the other changes the textures themselves. If the problem is one or the other then one of these should give a positive effect. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/73/?# www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/978/?
  10. Well I'm not one to use programs like team viewer but if you really want someone else to try stuff I could give it a whirl.
  11. Manually installing just means manually uninstalling. Gilbert was actually on the ball there, I prefer the keep the zip file approach. If I want it gone I open the zip and find everything in there in my fallout folder to delete them. These days it's usually not loose files and such but a single file with everything in a format that FO4 reads. As for destroying your game, it would only do that if you Save the game 3 times with the stuff going. To be 100% safe go into yuur save folder, make a copy of your saves and place them in another location. Now it's past midnight for me so gonna head to bed myself. I'll check here in the morning.
  12. Ah, you're afraid that working with a different version will also be broken and when you redownload the console mod it won't install. Correct? Edit: That bit about uploading, that's for people making a weapon/armor mod of their own using that system. Normal players don't need to worry about it.
  13. Okay, try using a previous version of NMM. See if that fixes the issue. Dunno why I didn't think of this at the start. x..x Stupeeed brain.
  14. Let NMM work it's magic first on each file. Not all of the mods cause NMM to go on the fritz. If it does work then yay, if it fails use the manual install. As for other mod loaders. If I recall correctly they read for the esm files and list those. So it should work either way.
  15. Did a little checking, the problem is with NMM, others have had it. The makers want bug reports sent so they can track it down. Something to do with symnlinks. Possible fixes incluse running in admin, which didn't work for you, and turning on Multi HDD mode. This causes NMM to reset and resync the symnlinks. So it's a possible fix, others just went for the manual installation I advised you to do.
  16. Allright let's try this. Close NMM Download the mod you want manually. Extract the contents into your fallout folder. Open explorer, type %appdata%, go back out of roaming and go into local. Find fallout 4 and go into the plugins folder. add the name of the .esp to the list, not forgetting the * at the front. Save then open NMM and check the Plugins list, making sure it's been listed and clicked. If it is, start the game and see if the mod works.
  17. Have you attempted a new game to see if the mods work then? Might be an error in your current game causing the problem. I'd give more advise but you've listed alot of the ideas I would give. XD
  18. .. the chrome link bit just made me think of something. Try white listing your fallout folder in your virus protection.
  19. Have you used LOOT to check for conflicts and/or second list of installed mods? I've had NMM save mods in one folder while looking in another. Not the whole thing, just one download session it decided to change folders to save in. So nothing new would run but the older stuff still worked.
  20. Went to sleep, woke up. Went for my suit and installed the core.. wtf? Went and did a few things, decided to pass the time for plant growth, mob spawn, ect. Power over 80%, woke up... gone. okaaay. 4 cores later getting miffed. Went to go to sleep at another settlement to see if that was it. Did bonehead move and parked in the doorway.. couldn't get into the bed. Fine, went to get in, stalled Another core... The only change between before this happened and what is going on now was removing a couple of mods conflicting with others.
  21. Okay from what I have read I don't think you have done this. It helped with an issue I had a while back but may have no effect on yours. Top right corner is a refresh looking icon, click it and have it scan for your installed games. Once it finds the games you know you have, cancel it. Then choose Fallout 4 as the default game.
