  1. I bet it's an OOO conflict. Are the containers changing when you can open them? Lid pops open, hand prints on crates... That sort of thing. BTW nmm is garbage, go wrye bash or obmm. Also OOO needs to be after the official dlc's I believe.
  2. Depending on the textures, it can cause a lot of slowdown. If you go from 512 to 2 or 4k for example, the processing power needed from your computer grows exponentially. Try dialing back the draw distance for tress and grass.
  3. It would generally be suggested to disable 1 mod at a time, and test. When the problem doesn't occur, you got your offending mod.
  4. Well having no errors is good, amazing even. I'm really wracking my brain here trying to help... But honestly I'm at a loss on this one.
  5. It seems like the message logger.ini might need adjusted. You can disable the debug part in any event. If you really have no errors showing up, fixing your issue will be tricky.
  6. I agree, but avoiding guaranteed failure can't hurt right? You are going to need a few utilities to solve this. Message Logger; https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45870 Tes4edit; https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11536 Conscribe can be helpful; https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/26510 And this is just awesomely useful; Refscope; https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/21862/ Get at least the first 2 if you don't have them. Message logger will make a Message Logger.txt file after a game save is loaded. If you try to save in a city, it may give some insight. Post the log file here afterwards.
  7. To quote myself; "If you use mods you should never; Use quick saves for reloading game saves. Use auto saves for reloading game saves. Use the pause menu for loading game saves. Use a saved over game save. ALL of thee above are guaranteed to break your game save. Always make a new save. Always reload by dropping to desktop, and restarting oblivion. I suggest this mod; https://www.nexusmod...tab=description Trust me on this info man... Or don't and google up some more. But it's mod using 101." This is the part of the post that must be adhered to. Also I suggest using UL full merged version. It will save you a lot of mod slots, and it performs better.
  8. Refer here... https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/7814858-game-ctds-now-when-quick-saving/&do=findComment&comment=71762683
  9. FYI... Boss only sorts out mods on it's master list. All others it doesn't recognize must be manually ordered.
  10. I think it's a 15 foot cubic radius... That means 15 feet out from the center of the explosion, in a spherical shape. Edit; It might be the same as measurement light nodes. Check torch02.
  11. I wasn't suggesting to copy, just for an idea. For me, learning from the work of others is fundamental. At least for a sense of direction, I find it invaluable. That's is not to say that once I've learned, I don't stray far outside the box. Experimentation using what you've learned is key.
  12. Honestly, I found these suggested settings through a friend. I can't really offer much info regarding them. I personally plan to enable these settings 1 by 1, and see how the game reacts. But it may be a bit, I am currently modding a lot. I feel it's a bad time to make these kinds of changes.
  13. What about the everscamps? Couldn't they be used as a template for this idea?
  14. I've noticed they sometimes appear sideways or upsidedown. Also make sure they are above ground level.I suggest placing them in mid-air and then in game test to see how it performs.
  15. If you have shivering isles, dawn/dusk fang scales with kills. May be a good place to start...
  16. Here's a thought... Don't do that! Why would you need to anyway?
  17. This is the best I have found; Multi-core CPU tweaks If you have a Dual/Quad core Processor or a processor with Hyper-Threading, then set these values to this: bUseThreadedBlood=1 (default 0) bUseThreadedMorpher=1 (default 0) bUseThreadedTempEffects=1 (default 0) bUseThreadedParticleSystem=1 (default 0) bUseBackgroundPathing=1 (default 0) bUseBackgroundFileLoader=1 (default 0) iNumHavokThreads=3 (default 1) iThreads=10 (default 3) bDebugFaceGenMultithreading=1 bUseMultiThreadedTrees=1 bUseMultiThreadedFaceGen=1 I am actually about to test these settings myself. So be aware I can't verify yet.
  18. I appreciate the feedback. I can't get cse back up and running at all. I really am at a loss. And now I have a mess on my hands regarding different packages I installed trying to solve this. It really annoys me how these things don't even tell you where they are installed. Or really what they are installing. All I know is it sucks having to drive the Yugo once I've driven the Ferrari...
  19. I don't have any idea how to help, but it seems like obse may be the way.
  20. Click game mode on if you haven't, in your win 10 game settings. I don't have the Steam version but I did find this; https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125736723 Hope it helps...
  21. Well... I got it working for nifs. I really have nit much idea what I'm doing at this point. But I could probably fulfill your request
  22. I'm gonna check out that blender portable. It was? It around last time I tried to get blender working.
