Its late, I am tired but I had to ship this under the door. I like the visual state, its understated but appropriate. Its army. Also it dawned on me that this would make a great GENERATOR mod! Have a spare fusion core? Slip in inside - and Voila, instant power!

Thanks for your reply,Sephrajin. Your suggestion are appreciated and noted. But do you know if one can use Enb from Skyrim for Fo4? That's the big question. I have begun going more into Screen Archery and Digital Photography lately and I want to broaden my tool bag. Already my images have improved dramatically, but I want to go even further...

Okay I got to ask ask again. I started using ENBs a few months back now, and generally getting a feel for them. However I would like to know if there are all usable in Fo4. such as the one in Skyrim. I ask because I don't want to hose a perfectly stable setup for the sake of experimenting. Also I would to know if ENB and ReShade Manager is Fo4 friendly. Thanks in advance to those generous enough to reply.

Well first off this is very nice and I am sure most would agree its lore friendly. Second: don't go overboard with animated UI for the screen. Yeah it would be nice but its not a deal breaker, polish and release what you have -which is great- and be more gradually ambitious on your following projects. People tend to enjoy solid mods over cool eye candy IMHO. Thirdly: Keep modding dude!

Actually I was thinking about a camera instead of a gun myself. Just like the current spec ops use. But I think there are engine limitation and all that jazz.

This is a level 1 question but still... Can you take a ENB from skyrim and use in fallout 4(and vice versa)? I tried googling it but did not get an answer. Also is there a mod that allows you to switch enb rather than having to yank out manually the old one and slap the new one in? Thanks in advance.

There are a quite a few mods that exist in Skyrim that could be appreciated in F4. Here are my top three... Dwarven Sentinels- Mihail Monsters and Animals (mihail immersive add-ons- dwemer automaton- matrix) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/94619 These things would fit right in the post apoc theme of the game I am sure. Familiar Faces https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54509 Who would not like having a copy of a previous save team up with us as a bad ass companion? I know I most certainly would! Also it would be great if the hall of heroes be replaced by the vault with the hibernation machines...no? SkyBox https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72845 If you cant get the previous one, at least be able to share the wealth! Does anyone else have any more suggestions?

Well for a start, making a mod of this scope takes time. Especially when the team behind it is...one person. The test of of a true modder IMHO is their ability to stick to their plan, even in the advent of a new upcoming shiny toy (Cyber Punk). And not doing that more often than not leads to broken promises that you so fear. Also about Fallout engine being old. Yeah well Skyrim is running the same engine - and I don't see an end to modding for it. That engine Is tried and true and for all its failings its guts and innards are now well understood. Nowadays people have a sense of entitlement that if I don't get it right now it will never happen. Lower your expectation, have a little patience and above all faith in mod creators.- 2744 replies

Ever looked at a billboard and thought to yourself "man that would make a good snipers nest?" The greater Boston area has a ton of billboards that could be converted to sniping nest. I would like to see a mod that would do to FO4 what the following mod did to FNV. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/47953 The author even created some not so nice npc's to man some of them. I think this would be a cool mod. Add a sleeping bag and a few basic supplies and off you go headhunting. Also this could use JaL - Just a Ladder mod to speed things up -with permission of course.

The wedding ring on a chain is nice. What I would really like are bullets on a chain with or without dog tags. One two or three bullets on the chain would be nice. Maybe a silver one (werewolf!) or a golden one...

I was wondering if anyone out there followed the TV Series The Outsiders? Those hard ass characters on that mountain would dovetail nicely in FO4. And so I ask if anyone could be generous enough to make a Ryan Hurst preset based on his character on that show. Of course feel free to do other ones as well. Cheers

Well if you think about it, when FO4 begins -when you run towards the Vault, either you or your spouse is holding Shaun. It think it would be reasonable to imagine that a talented modder out there could conceivably create a settler holding a child. Kid could disappear when doing work and reappear after.

This is a good idea. There should be a three tier system: Tier one: A Powerball - a large gear bag with ammo (100-300 rounds) and grenades, maybe a few stimpak or Radaway. Tier two: Care package - small crate or chest with all of the above, plus random weapon and assorted ammo. Tier Three: Skid drop - all of tier one and two plus assorted high level goodies such a armor or even a mister gutsy! Your pip boy would warn you of a drop with a map marker...with enemy nearby or course!

Well the idea behind this was that the player would not *rush* over to just any laying bodies to loot it. You would have to take precaution just like you would with a landmine. Heck you could even equip the player with a long stick or probe to check the body over. Also there are more than enough improvised explosive mods around the Nexus to create that kind of result -Not just bodies, but doors, containers, anything. That would cause the player to stop and think '' Wait -is this too good to be true'' ? And if successful get some xp... Could also be a good add-on for the perks - IED expert... -

I was wondering if there is a program or mod that allows to see what mods are installed on a given save files? I have a few older save files and I don't want to start and restart a new game just to have it tell me its missing this or that. Basically it would just reads the save file and list mods present in it. If it does not exist there is a need for it I am sure. Or is there another way?

I have two suggestions for in game mods : *Electric fence ; fairly straightforward idea. Use chain link fence or equivalent and connect it to a generator. Presto! Instant zap damage to any attackers. Or *Booby trapped bodies: Randomly scattered throughout the commonwealth. Player sees dead body and if you trigger it- boom! Like land mine. Npc's should be affected too! Is this possible with the CK?

Hi Antistar, Sorry a while back I confused the Sturmgewehr with the Volksgewehr...although I will mention Volksgewehr was evaluated postwar and given a very bad review. Appropriate pick for the commonwealth I guess. Also you mentionned: "In WARS, for any weapon with iron-sights that are just always there and not replaced by other optics, those iron-sights cost nothing to "craft". (Vanilla weapons too; this is something I did during my rebalance pass.) With a Weapon Modification Kit (basically a TAS Tool Kit) you can do this away from workbenches too." That's a nice fixer. How does it work (TAS Tool Kit), really. I can't seem to make it run...- 2744 replies
